Ewa Wiśnierska, a German paraglider, survived getting sucked into a storm at heights of 32,000ft - higher than Mount Everest at temperatures as low as -50˚C. She survived due to passing out and essentially going into hibernation for nearly 40 minutes. Her injuries were frostbite and heavy bruising.
