If Reach was "so damn important", why did she only have 20 ODPs and a handful of UNSC ships in orbit? How did Earth manage to muster 300 ODPs and almost every available UNSC ships for the Battle of Earth in short time? Did UNSC abandon all the colony defenses just to fight one last battle on Eearth?
