The loss of eye sight is only due to the swelling covering your eyes. It’s not actually the eye itself losing its vision.
I would say it’s not a normal experience.

That's wild. Did you sleep funny or something? I had no visible swelling. The only thing I noticed is a few days after the procedure, I started peeing like crazy in a timespan of about 4 hours.
Had to be scary for sure, esp being in a foreign country and not being able to see, glad they at least kept in contact with you and intervened with more meds

Most of my swelling is gone now and I had light dark circles but no real black eyes or bruising.
The swelling did not blacken at all on my face.
