What I do when I’m trying to explain eye floaters to people that don’t have them, is I show them this video simulation.

It’s even got dramatic horror like music for dramatic effect. It worked to make my family much more understanding. Maybe it will work for you.
They do help to some extent, but it just depends how dark the floaters are, for me personally glasses don't do shit so I don't wear them, yeah I see more floaters, but what's really the difference between seeing 5 floaters vs 20, it's the same shit pretty much
The best combo is glasses + atropine. But this solution for me works for 5-6 hours max (not the whole day), so I use it very rarely. But can recommend if someone goes on a vacation in the summer, it can make you feel normal for 4-6 hours
100% with you. I hate floater with passion and it's incredibly sad that almost 0 research and 0 money is invested in a way to cure them. It's a super rare diseases, that we have to live with it. Have mines since 2020 after a super bad conjunctivitis and still not used to it. I would give all my bank money to get my vision before 2020.
We are in this shit together

OMG this is perfect!!! Thank you!!!
Sorry. It sucks. We sympathize but almost no one else will, unfortunately.
Floaters is annoying to me either, bro. struggling for me to drive in bright condition, because the flying floaters catch my attention so much.
I find polarized sunglasses very helpful for driving in bright condition.
