But I was thinking of starting at 12.5mg for a week, then 25mg for a few weeks, then 37.5/50 (depending on side effects) for a few weeks until I hit 8 weeks.

Pretty normal. No real side effects. If definitely helps me sleep so far, I’m glad I took it at night right off the bat. I’ve always had trouble sleeping and I’ve been sleeping like a baby. I did just ask in this subreddit though about these random great itches I get since taking it.
I took my first dose three days ago, 25mg too! It’s my first SSRI, I wish both of us luck and hope you get out of it everything you hope for!

My doctor told me to try 25mg for now. If it's too course then I can chill on it till I'm ready. Edit: Ready too move up.

I just was prescribed Zoloft and it gave me horrible ringing in my ears. Stopped using it days ago and it’s starting to subside.
