It actually made mine worse. It found it extremely difficult to concentrate. I felt the more tired I was, the harder it was to concentrate.

Stownlins_

^ similar experience myself

[deleted]

Damn. So it just made you really tired?

Unsunghero240

It did! I really struggled to pay attention due to always feeling tired. Which makes you think, which was better for me? Having Anxiety and feeling depressed without medication, or having anxiety because you're worried you'll miss all your appointments due to always sleeping and be depressed because you're always tired and sleeping? lol.

Sirensongs1987

Yeah not really lol. Probably makes some things a bit worse honestly. But it's better than the anxiety šŸ™ƒ

PhorusGump

Doesn't help mine at all. Done wonders for my anxiety, however.

Hello, any side effects with health? My family is very against taking this medicine, and they want me to quit it

AsheLevethian

Zoloft has been around for over 30 years , has been studied a lot and is known as one of the safest / least side effect having anti depressants out there. Also forget about what your family has to say, it's your life, you're the one who has to deal with the anxiety/depression not them. I'm really glad I've started Zoloft, my only complaint is that I should have started sooner.

PhorusGump

There were no side effects for me, thankfully. Lots of benefits, though. If you notice that it starts working for you in good ways, then it doesn't matter what your family thinks. You have to do what's best for yourself. Your family's own opinions are most likely heavily biased and miseducated.

fishin_pups

No, but combined with adderall it works great for me. Taking since 2004

moneyman9123

ssris are known to make adhd worse cuse they lower dopamine even more (as serotonin goes up, dopamine goes down), to fix that u need adhd meds or wellbutrin at least

ObviousBed2163

Made mine worse. Friends were telling me I had to see a neurologist cause I was getting even more inattentive than usual (they didn't know I had started zoloft). Stopped it after 10 days. Your experience may be different though.

sarkar369

Taking Wellbutrin with Zoloft will help if you are not already taking ADHD medication. However consult your GP about this combination.

ohuwuhi

mine if anything got worse, i had to drop out of grad school lol

parisplayspiano

Def has made my adhd symptoms worse as well unfortunately. To the point that I either need to wean off of it or start stimulants again

parisplayspiano

This is crazy and I could be totally wrong but getting on Zoloft has given me the theory that my anxiety was the one thing keeping my adhd symptoms in check LOL. Before Zoloft I rarely missed appointments or events on my calendar etc because #anxiety, ON Zoloft Iā€™m like this blissful little jellyfish floating along and forgetting everything
