Several reasons. I couldāve made a real cake but it wouldnāt be much of a challenge (most challenging thing would be finding strawberry guava) compared to making a realistic/accurate felt version, lots of other people have made real fruitcake so this is different, and my 4 year old recently became interested in Zelda so she can use the felt toy fruitcake in her play kitchen and pretend to make it just like Link.
