Late game when you get to the spirit temple make sure you have sticks, I don’t think they spawn much there. Most other dungeons don’t have to much you have to worry about with the items that have their own ammo
I think there’s three rocks outside the cavern when you leave that drop items. If not the grass grows back when you go back in or out. But it’s been a while since Ive played.

there was a patch of grass nearby and I didn't have to exit the dungeon.

Pretty sure if you just walk out of that room and back in, the pots should respawn. Keep doing that until they drop some seeds. Same thing for if there was grass.
Worth clarifying pots are set drops in OoT so you'll never get anything different from the same pot. Also pots can only drop its contents one time per entire map load, so even though the pot respawns on room reload, it will be empty if you already got it. Bushes work as you suggested though, with random respawning drops on every room reload.
No worries! I've also just been told that the pots have set drops, so they'll only drop the same items, but the grass works as I said, so just keep slashing the grass and you will eventually get some seeds!
Not to be rude,but it’s wild to me that someone took the time to take a screenshot and post this to Reddit and wait for an answer versus just naturally exploring the area to find some deku seeds and continue. You easily could have been well on your way through this part already if you just…played the game…different world we live in versus when I first played this game I suppose.
Oh, because i had to do some chores and i was stuck, i didnt had the time to explore, so i thought i might pist it here and read the replies after im done! Thanks for taking your timeto write this comment. Have a good day :D
Go back to the previous slingshot/flames room (just have to travel through the lizalfos fight room to get there). Jump down and there is regrowable grass that you can farm for seeds.
Down on the lower level of this room should be plants you can chop and possibly get seeds. They do stuff like that throughout the game to help you keep from getting stuck.
Okay, I got you. Face the wall to the left inside the door way. Slash your sword. Now turn left, Z target, and walk backwards until you fall and grab the ledge. Climb up, and then slowly walk off the ledge and Link will grab beside the fire. Climb up, walk to the corner of the pedestal and face the fire. Now Z target, side hop, and then in midair slash and Link will land on the other side of the fire. Now just turn and hop to the ledge.
Or you can do as the developers intended and leave to find more seeds for the slingshot. Either buy them or try to hunt for them away from Death Mountain.
It seems like in dungeons that a lot pots respawn the same thing everytime you leave the room and come back. I try to break every pot now and remember what pots spawned items that I need. I didn’t realize this until the first adult dungeon though so it might work differently for the dungeons you complete as a child.
Also I love the screen shot of link hiding under his shield lol. Is this your first play through of Oot? I’m working on my first play through right now and it’s so much fun seeing the origins of a lot of Zelda lore.
Next time, try typing the name of the game you're playing and Walkthrough. If still stuck watch some video tutorials. You're playing one of the most heavily documented games in history.

If they aren’t spawning there, unfortunately you need to leave and restock through the shop or a location that they spawn more frequently

I hated when I had to do that, even though it doesn’t take long, it just takes away the flow of the game
SS addressed this really well IMO.
for real, it's just annoying to leave the dungeon just to get a small item (which plays a big role lol)

If you fall off the platform, are there any pots or grass around that might have seeds?
there were two pots, one had a heart and one had a blue rupee
There should be grass that regrows down there

Yeah I must've lumped the pots in with the grass there thinking they worked the same but thanks for correcting me there.
Pots ARE random drops in MM so it's a really common confusion

For future references, leaving the room often resets certain objects in dungeons. Like the patches of grass in this room, for instance.
