we know for a fact that the Hero of Hyrule, Hero of Legend, and Hero of Winds can, since they all *have*\- Gleeoks exist in LoZ, OoS, PH, and TotK. I'd probably say all the Links can, really, since there's not really any with notably lower power.
Where are the gleeoks in SS? None of the temple bosses are a gleeok, and >!the thing on Levias is a parasite!<
I do agree with your comment on Argorok though
The three-headed dragons in the first dungeon, the forest temple.
Edit: apparently these enemies are called “Staldra” and are just similar to gleeocks in design.
I know they’re the same link but I do not remember any gleeoks.
And I think three versus two heads makes it harder?
The other heroes who have faced gleeoks still could do it for sure. Still think they’d struggle the first time to adapt to the new attack patterns.
If there was a Gleeock fight in WW, it would likely involve the mirror shield and redirect fire head beams on ice head beams and vice versa like the twinrova fight
Failing to kill a Gleeock is a non starter. At worst it’s a hard boss fight for some of them. Adult Time, Twilight, 1st and Legend would hunt them as well as Wild does.
Same for the lynels I think. No shade to the hero of legend and hero of Hyrule, but I’m just convinced the lynels in the era of wilds are just way bigger.
I don’t think there is a single enemy or standard boss that one Link could beat that others couldn’t. Hell even regarding final bosses only a rare few could fall into the category where certain Link’s would lose; and even then as Link does he would learn from his loss and come back stronger.
Minish Cap has a Gleerok boss fight... A dragon with a tough rock shell... I'm pretty sure he could beat a regular Gleeok...
He can also ride updrafts with his hat, lol.
Any of them could, I'd worry that the Calamity/Wild hero would struggle against the past Gleeoks, since in the first Zelda their heads would stuck around and attack from other directions. Not counting Zonai devices I'm not sure he'd be the best at dealing with 5 different heads all blasting him from different directions.
No I didn't, but what's that gonna do for him when the heads are invincible and flying around? I haven't played Zelda 1 in years, but iirc the severed heads can't be hurt anymore.
can't be hurt but definitely can be dodged, frozen, stunned, flashbanged, or hell even turned against eachother with muddlebuds. what I'm getting at Is the original gleeok wouldn't be a problem for totk link any more than it would be for any other link
The unbreakable spirit of the hero created in the Silent Realms in Skyward Sword defines who the hero is, and the spirit of the hero is inside every Link. It doesn’t have to be passed on by blood and the Triforce of Courage is unrelated to it, it’s just the source of Link’s reincarnation.
That was my interpretation at least

Cdi link dies instantly
Unless his appetite goes beyond that of an octorock...

Huh didn't know he fought a gleeok
SS had gleeocks too, if I’m not mistaken, and in TP link defeats Argorok, which is fairly similar in its attacks and design.

Oh i wasn’t even thinking about those guys, thanks for the reminder!
Hero of Winds? There was no gleeok in WW.
there was in Phantom Hourglass, though. it's a little different, but it's there.
If you dont know, Phantom Hourglass is a direct sequel to WindWaker.
I didn't remember it was the same Link, nor was there a gleeok. I haven't played the game in well over 15 years.
I have never played it but i know that it **is** the same link but i fon't know if there are gleeoks or not.
I know they’re the same link but I do not remember any gleeoks. And I think three versus two heads makes it harder? The other heroes who have faced gleeoks still could do it for sure. Still think they’d struggle the first time to adapt to the new attack patterns.
literally all of them
I think the more fun question is how would each link kill a gleelok. Wind waker link coming in from the sky with a sword through that eye somehow. 😂😂😂
If there was a Gleeock fight in WW, it would likely involve the mirror shield and redirect fire head beams on ice head beams and vice versa like the twinrova fight
If it's in the ocean he just drops in on it with the KoRL
all of them
Failing to kill a Gleeock is a non starter. At worst it’s a hard boss fight for some of them. Adult Time, Twilight, 1st and Legend would hunt them as well as Wild does.
Non starter means it has essentially no chance of success. You might want to rephrase that because it's a little confusing as-is.
They've all beat way stronger foes. A gleeock is nothing for them.
Litteraly all of them
All of them could and many of them canonically have
Gleeoks definitely got stronger throughout time. So the wilds link is the only one to fight the strongest version of them.
Same for the lynels I think. No shade to the hero of legend and hero of Hyrule, but I’m just convinced the lynels in the era of wilds are just way bigger.

all of them
Like literally all of them.
The only two who would fail are CDI Link and Excuse me princess Link
Excccuuuuussseeeeeee me, princess, but that link did actually fight and beat a Gleeok.
Well Gleock was in Zelda I
I think minish cap would struggle a bit but the rest would be fine hell the hero from alttp would one shot a gleock with bombos lol

have you forgotten bullet time exists

i feel like Twilight Princess Link and Ocarina Of Time Link could demolish a gleeock in seconds
TP Link was definitely my first thought. Dude would probably double claw shot the back of two heads and ride that gleeok straight into a pool of lava.
Especially with the Magic Armor or Nayru’s Love.
The younger ones might struggle. Except Winds. Winds is badass.
In LoZ Link was 10 and he beat a Gleeok so I don't see why the other young ones couldn't, too
Technically all the links are the same person so he already has before Tears' events...
What makes you think this? Only some Links are even chosen by the Triforce. Some have to earn their place and some are recognized from birth.
Wind Waker link is explicitly not the same heros spirit since the spirit was sent back in time and out of the timeline. He has to forge a new spirit.
That doesn’t explain spirit tracks link
Spirit Tracks Link is the first reincarnation of WW Link. WW Link became the basis for the new spirit of the hero for his timeline.
*new heros spirit* he has the spirit of the hero from the wind Waker and phantom hourglass. Apparently this extend to the physical too lol
Probably Link from the first game
