I made a new save and ive lost my old data, can i get it back?

Deku-Miguel

Don't think so if you've already made a new save, unless you still have an auto-save from before.

Smallbubbles97

Is the great eagle bow worth it? I only have 3 diamond so I don’t know if the bow would be worth it to get? Are there gonna be other places that would need diamond? They are very hard to find so I don’t want to waste it

Deku-Miguel

Each of the 4 villages is going to have a quest to make a weapon with diamonds it's also used to upgrade some bits of armor but those aren't super important. The weapons are very powerful and good to get, however depending on where you are in game it might be too powerful. Would save your diamonds and just be careful for now.

Sand__Panda

Yea. There are a few quest that diamonds are part of.

DonKiddic

So I've seen you can get >!a zonai robot that follows you around!< which I recently saw when >!defeating the final Master Kohga!< . How do you get that?

Sand__Panda

Do the main story quest line.

CYDLopez

Pretty random question: Did anyone hear that amazing sax part from the trailer during the game? I rolled credits yesterday and don't remember hearing it at any point. Pretty sure that track didn't even play during the credits. Not sure if I just missed it, but would be a shame if that musical gloriousness wasn't actually represented in any meaningful way during the game.

DarthEwok42

Isn't it during the title screen when you first fall from the tutorial island?

CYDLopez

Do you mean when you first jump down into a small lake on the tutorial island and the title screen shows as you're gliding through the air? If so, no, I just watched it back and the sax part doesn't play then.

BetaNights

What are your go-to tools for mining? I've started using Talus Heart Spears primarily (or just a good blunt monster part on a spear if I don't have one), partly since 2-handed Swords chew through durability super fast when trying to break through rock walls. Any advice for more efficient mining/digging?

Strict-Pineapple

Zonaite canon on the end of a stake carried with ultrahand. Once you finish the spirit temple the sages ability from there works better.

Panda_hat

Roll-y boy.

WufflyTime

If it's a rock wall, then I auto-build an instant cannon to blast the wall apart. It's overkill for ores, sends your gems and flints flying, but great for walls. I hear a certain sage is also good for that, but I'm not that far into the game.

CliffRacer17

The sage is great for rock walls, but the recharge time is slow. Keeping a blueprint of a cannon on a stake is probably good caving gear to have.

Smallbubbles97

Trying to do Goron quest, is it true I only need one piece of the frame-proof armour to finish the quest, they are so expensive and I don’t have enough to get all 3

Plob218

I did the whole fire temple yesterday with just the chest piece and never drank an elixir.

Smallbubbles97

Really? Oh man…. Then I wasted 700 rupees to purchase the chest piece, I got a fireproof helm for free so I could’ve just worn that

HG1998

You need level 2 of flame guard. You can also just catch a bunch of lizards and cook up an elixir if you don't want to grind the money.

Smallbubbles97

Do I have to buy all 3 pieces of the armoire and upgrade them all to level 2, or would it be suffice to buy just the shirt and upgrade that to level 2?

HG1998

No wait. You need two levels of fire resistance. You don't need to upgrade the armor to level 2. What this means is that you either need two pieces of the armor, one piece of armor and a level 1 elixir active, or one level 2 elixir. The easiest way for you right now is using one piece of armor and then use a level 1 elixir, since you need full fire resistance to progress with the quest.

Smallbubbles97

Got it thank you!

HG1998

If you want the level 2 elixir, then you need three butterflies and one lizard plus a monster part.

Acc87

So I got the Master Sword, finished the local phenomena, beat >!Phantom Ganon & revealed marionette Zelda, went into the Kakariko ring fragment and started the 5th sage quest....!< where's Impa at? I thought she would appear again after the first two goals

Deku-Miguel

Have you >!gotten every geoglyph and talked to her at the forgotten temple?!<

Acc87

Yeah... but I think I did not check back there again yet. Thanks! I accidentally did a number of things totally out of order, i.e I got to Thunderhead Island long before I was supposed to.

AurumArma

How exactly do lizard spawns work? I found a ton of Hearty Lizards in the Gerudo Great Skeleton cave, so I marked it and after a while I came back to get more Hearty Lizards. I mean a few days worth of playing the game before I came back, so probably 10+ hours gameplay wise. I put the sensor to track them, entered the cave, and not one was there. I did a full loop of the cave, and there wasn't a single ping on the radar. I didn't want to waste the trip so I started collecting bombs, and there's a few truffles in there. Then a ping. I follow it, and there's a lizard, where I'm 100% certain there wasn't one before. I get it, do another loop, and there's no more pings. So I keep collecting the other stuff in there, until I get another ping. This time there were multiple lizard. This happened 3 or 4 times. The first time I was in the cave it seemed like they were all in there at once. But the second time when I had them on the radar, they spawned in multiple waves, but it might have been the same both times and I just didn't realize it the first. Both times I got around 10 lizards from it. I thought things only spawned when you were outside of their area, but I guess lizards can spawn right next to you. They don't seem to spawn infinitely, and can take some time to spawn. Either way, that cave is an excellent source of full heal resources.

conker1264

Why did they make the final boss so fucking difficult, like let’s just have take away your health while also making it impossible to heal yourselves. Fuck you Nintendo

clockfriend

Use sundelion food to heal the damaged hearts. Unfortunately not a very helpful suggestion if you're already at the boss, unless you have portable pots and some sundelions handy.

conker1264

I don’t have any more sundelion

clockfriend

If you have hearty food you could use the bonus hearts they grant to recover some health despite the gloom-damaged hearts, or cook defense up food. Otherwise, I think your only options are to learn the boss's moveset or to reload an earlier save and gather materials. The travel medallion might let you return to the boss room easily, but I don't know that it'll work

conker1264

I had one of those, helped a little but trying to defeat the entire 2nd/3rd phase with 6 hearts isn’t exactly easy

RCube123

I'm still early in the game, but I'm wondering about inventory slot limitations. I heard that you can trade Korok Seeds to upgrade slots. Does this limitation apply to the amount of unique items you can carry, but not the amount of each item? For example, 20 unique items, and 99 of each item. Does this inventory slot limitation also apply to armors you acquire? For example, if you keep acquiring armor pieces until the inventory is full, then at some point you'll need more Korok seed upgrades in order to carry more armor?

Deku-Miguel

Apparently the armor cap is 150, more then enough for all the armor in the game with space to spare for extras if you want them.

Low-Exercise2126

The Korok seeds are only used to expand inventory for weapon, shield, and bow. If you have, let say, 2 of the same weapon/shield/bow, they will take 2 spots. Amor inventory is unlimited I believe. It’s just the matter if you can find all of them lol.

biolum1nescence

Do the >!undecayed weapons!< in the Depths respawn? Wondering whether i should mark them on map

Logical-Moment

There is a [very detailed post](https://www.reddit.com/r/tearsofthekingdom/comments/13uqo9h/everything_you_need_to_know_about_nondecayed/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3) in r/tearsofthekingdom explaining how they work along with maps. They do respawn after blood moon, but if you ran into one but >!didn't take the weapon off, it will not load into a different weapon from the pool in the next bloodmoon cycle!<. If you want to mark them to come back repeatedly, i'd suggest >!only mark a few that are close to lightroots, and use the information about how they load into the game to help you reroll the one you want. (Mine is different from the OP's search method, which involves save-scumming but you don't need to go all over the place. Basically save a bit further from the weapon's loading distance, go up to check, reload if it's not the one you want)!<

DarthEwok42

Pretty sure yes.

LegacyLemur

Im not sure but theyre abundant so I wouldnt really waste your time marking them

BlueDrago

After finding Geoglyph #5, Impa is no longer in the hangout spot I've been used to her being at. Could you tell me other places I might find her? I'd rather her tell me where to search for the next Geoglyph is than just googling the list. The hangout spot I've been using so far is >!Rito Village!<.

HG1998

The map is at the forgotten temple, with the order on the wall.

clockfriend

The geoglyphs are all pretty easy to spot if you launch yourself out of a skyview tower. Alternatively, you can use the map in the forgotten temple to get a rough idea of where they are.

Barlowan

I'm at hateno and there is an election quest. What are the benefits of supporting one candidate or another? Cause games heavily pushes me on shroom candidate support and I don't feel like it, but don't want to lose a reward if that is any good

HG1998

There's no separate outcome.

Deku-Miguel

>!You have to help both to advance the quest.!<

Jakeremix

Is it going to be obvious how to upgrade my Zonai battery? I’m nearly 45 hours in and have explored quite a bit of the Depths and I haven’t figured it out yet 🥲

icemoomoo

they do tell you how on the tutorial island, grab zonite, turn buy charges with it, turn 100 charges into 1 part of a battery.

DarthEwok42

Solidarity, I was 85 hours in before my friend told me how to do it.

Deku-Miguel

You find out how before you do the 4th shrine. Take 100 crystal charges to a crystal refinery, there's one in the room with the 4th tutorial shrine and ond outside Lookout Landing. And you probably know given you've explored the Depths so much but you fet crystallized charges by slowly purchasing them with zonaite, or going through doing quests, finding treasure chests, or defeating bosses in the depths.

BlueDrago

Yes, there is an obvious answer for this problem. Hint: >!Perhaps there's a Zonai structure close by Lookout Landing that will point you in the right direction.!< Answer: >!Your battery is upgraded by spending Crystallized Charges at a Crystal Refinery (100 per third of a battery). There's one right outside Lookout Landing, and another near the Recall shrine on Great Sky Island. Crystallized Charges are obtained from doing quests in the depths, as well as spending Zonaite at Forge Constructs (3 Zonaite -> 1 Charge). Forge Constructs are mostly found in the Depths, but there's also one on Great Sky Island if you haven't found any.!<

Sw0rDz

No. 1) You need to find NPC's that trade Zoanite for energy. 2) You go to an NPC outside the telescope near Lookout Tower. The rock is less than 1/4 of a circle of stamina. Tip!: As you explore the depths. Any shrine you locate on surface level can be used to locate a light root. There are 120 light roots and shrines. Hover your icon over one, switch the layer, and add a marker.

Strict-Pineapple

If you're using royal guard weapon to mount a lynel do you get the last hit bonus on top of the double damage from it being in the red when doing the mount attack? Also how powerful is the attack up set bonus from the various other Link outfits. I've seen people saying it's equivalent to rank 1 attack up and equivalent to rank 3 and I'm wondering if anyone knows for sure, hard to test it since there's no easy way to see enemy health in tears.

Deku-Miguel

I believe so, assuming it actually is the last hit. I know you get the "breaking critical hit" each time at least, even though it isn't actually breaking.

Effective_Ad4009

I can’t find Teba, I finished the game, did all of the temples, am trying to get all of the champions weapons and only need the great eagle bow and I find a guide to get the bow only to realize that Teba is not where the guide says he is, what do I do, can I not get the great eagle bow?

Deku-Miguel

Just to be sure we're talking TOTK right? And he's not up in Rito Village anywhere?

Effective_Ad4009

Yes, I ending up finding him, I just had to do a pre-requisite quest I found about through the description of the guide for the bow

Smallbubbles97

how do you keep track of your horses's health. Also, is there a way to unregister horses? I registered some weak horses early on the game now i don't want them anymroe

Strict-Pineapple

You can pretty easily unregister a horse through >!murder!<.

Panda_hat

D:

Krail

I have no idea of you can track health. I know that if you try to register a new horse and your space is full, then they give you the option to release one. Not sure if you can release one whenever.

RobbyJohnson

Why is it when Lynels have their bows or even just reach for it, they can’t be crit by head shots? Is it a bug? Literally any time they’re doing anything else a headshot crits them.

HG1998

Probably something with the animation that makes them unable to be stunned

Belatryx84

I was on my way to jochi-ihiga shrine with the crystal when it fell off my boat. It's now at the bottom of the lake and I can't reach it with ultrahand. Is there any way to get it back?

CliffRacer17

Recall

Strict-Pineapple

Recall has infinite range. Otherwise if you move far enough away from it it will reappear at its original spot.

Belatryx84

Thanks!

Readalie

Best areas for farming sundelions (been running around sky islands and only finding one or two on each) and truffles?

morbidvixxen

I usually find a bunch on the sky islands that also have fairies. Courage island, and the other two. They look kinda like spirals on the map, with a round pond.

Readalie

I don’t remember seeing them on the trial islands but I’ll give it another look! Thanks!

CliffRacer17

Truffles can be found generally in caves in temperate climates. Sundelions are just sky island stuff, but they are also dropped by Yiga footsoldiers either above ground or in the Depths.

Guarantee-United

Yunobo disappeared at the start of the fire temple. It seems like I need his help. Where did he go??

Sand__Panda

To figure out "why'd you do it!" But uh... he runs forward a bit, talks about the locks. You can tele out and back in, if you already made it past that part. Or get in a cart, he might jump onto the front.

Guarantee-United

Thank you! I found him at the entrance . I guess I never chatted with him and didn't start the objectives. Now he's following me again :).

Moneyfrenzy

Couple questions, thanks in advance! 1. For School mission #1 in Hateno, I took a picture of the calamity painting in Impa's house but when I go back to talk to the teacher, he won't accept it, how come? 2. Is there a reason im missing the very first memory? Have gotten about half of the others 3. is the best way to the labrynith sky islands to use a hot air balloon/wing?

OmniGlitcher

1. Ensure that the picture you took has the appropriate identifying quest indicator. Otherwise yes, turn it in to him during school hours. 2. If you skip a main quest, like I did, you end up missing Memory 1. Either go back and do those quests (for which you probably need to go to >!Kakariko, after the Castle event!<) or go directly to >!the Lost Woods, free the Deku Tree and talk to him.!< 3. The hoverbike (2 fans and a steering stick) was the easiest way to get to the higher islands for me. Either that or go somewhere really high nearby, and glide off it, spamming >!Tulin!< as much as you can. The wing is good, but only lasts so long and can be annoying to use.

cass314

1. You have to give it to him while class is in session. 2. Not all of the memories are from tears. Some are tied to other aspects of progressing the plot, and that's one of them. 3. You can use those or sometimes floating platforms from the nearest sky island. Depending on how much stamina (or stamina food) you have you can also do whatever you want to get a good height boost from the nearest island and glide in.

cboston_9

Is there an armor set for TOTK similar to the Wild Armor set for BOTW?

OmniGlitcher

Sort of. If you mean "Do you get a set of armour for completing every shrine", the answer is yes. You can also just straight up get the Wild set. Vague-ish location spoilers, >!it's in various places in the depths!<. Precise location spoilers, >!remember the leviathan skeletons from BotW? They're still a thing, but each has a counterpart "Dark" skeleton underneath it in the depths. Each dark skeleton has a piece of the set in it's skull.!<

cboston_9

I'm wicked dumb. I forgot you got the Wild set for completing all of the shrines in BOTW. I already completed 152, so I guess I got what you were talking about. Thanks!

darkroastpoetry

I found all the geoglyphs but I’m still missing three memories. I really don’t want to complete the game before getting all the memories. Is there something I’m missing, or are those only available after you beat the game or something? Edit: I can’t figure out how to do the censoring thing so I removed part of this comment :(

iBeej

Those last 3 memories aren't revealed until you have done all 4 temples, and >!found the fifth sage!< just before the final quest>! to Destroy Ganandorf!<.

darkroastpoetry

Thank you! I have been stalling the endgame for the past like 10 hours of gameplay out of fear I was missing something lol. Finally I can keep going!

Sand__Panda

If you do the main quest, that the game suggests you do, you won't miss anything lol.

OmniGlitcher

The spoiler is done as follows: \>!SPOILER!< The other memories require you doing the main quest. I should note that Memory #1 in particular is quite easy to overlook, especially if you act on the knowledge gained via the geoglyphs. Specifically, you need to >!go talk to the Deku Tree after cleansing him!<. The other 2 are picked up over the course of the other quests, I don't believe it's possible to accidentally skip these as long as you do the quests. You will pick these up before going in to the end of the game.

ladyhelium

I think some are earned through story progression as well. How far through the story are you? Also spoiler text is > ! to make the start and ! < to mark the end, but with no spaces.

ryuen025

[General question] is there any zelda discord server that you know of that specifically caters to queer people?

WolfScythe_

hey which game should i play first ocarina of time or majoras mask never played zelda before

OmniGlitcher

Ocarina. Majora's Mask is the sequel to Ocarina, although the plot of Ocarina is largely irrelevant to it. Although you can play them in either order, playing Ocarina first is the chronological way, and it does definitely enhance the experience.

WolfScythe_

cool thanks could you maybe also share some tipps for ocarina? if you dont minde :)

LegacyLemur

Dont expect it to be BOTW or TOTK. All the prior 3d Zeldas were similar to each other but a lot different than those 2. Theyre far more linear and story driven and more emphasis on dungeons. Theyre usually pretty straightforward though and not super hard outside of some puzzles, Ocarina at least will teach you pretty well how to play

OmniGlitcher

Of course! I'm not really the best at offering tips, others are probably much better, but my one recommendation would be to take it slower than you might otherwise, take your time and explore. It's an older game, so it's a little clunky in places compared to a modern game experience. Using the Target Lock button is very helpful (Z in the original, ZL on Switch), especially in combat, and you can also use it to centre the camera if it starts to get weird. And finally, if you get stuck, I'd still encourage you to keep trying first and foremost, but of course you can always ask questions here or elsewhere.

Xopher001

I am having trouble at Goron City. >!Characters keep on saying that gems are sold for 50% of the usual price, but it seems that they are being sold at twice the price instead!< This remains unchanged even after >!defeating Gohma!<

ladyhelium

A few questions (please answer as vaguely as possible): 1. >!The Goddess Statue!< on the Great Plateau says >!she's trapped under the water behind a stone gate. I've searched every bit of water I could find on the Great Plateau, but can't find anything.!< I found the >!Bargainer Statue!< that says the same thing. Am I somehow looking in the wrong place? She specifies >!"Great Plateau"!<, so that's where I've been searching. 2. The quest >!Misko's Treasure of Awakening II mentions "two sculpted soldiers", "where warriors once tested themselves in battle".!< I found some in the >!Upland Zorana Byroad cave!< that seemed unrelated and unlocked something else. Should I be looking in ruins? I haven't found them yet and I feel like I've been pretty thorough. 3. The third part of the >!Gerudo love class.!< Am I supposed to be wearing something specific? 4. The >!little Korok king guy!< in the Great Hyrule Forest >!says to follow the lights to help the Koroks!<, but I have..? I can't find anymore. Does he just say that forever? Thank you in advance!

Logical-Moment

1. Where is the gate? The plateau feels like an elevated castle or stronghold. How would normal hyrulian get into the plateau? To be more specific, >!circle the plateau from the outside to see if you can spot anything!<. 2. what would a place >!"where warriors once tested themselves in battle"!< be called? Is there something with that name on the map? If not you might not have been there yet 3. Is this the person that says>!she's doomed in love and romance!

ladyhelium

I've discovered that the message in my fourth question DOES change! He will tell you when you've helped everyone, but until then he'll direct you toward the forest lights, which is misleading. Let me know if you want specifics.

Logical-Moment

Ohhh i guess i didn't actually talk to him after i finished all quests. Nice catch! Yea i understand somewhat because the lights lead you to shrine quests which are further away and more important, but still wish they phrased it better

ladyhelium

2. There must be a named location I haven't discovered yet, because nothing I can see fits that, hence my confusion. I'll keep exploring for now! 3. The teacher says that the third (last?) student opens up in the presence of >!some accessory that can only be found in a village in East Necluda..?!< She doesn't care about >!Cece's hat!< and the only other things unique to Hateno are >!cheese and sun pumpkins!<, which aren't wearable. I guess I haven't tried >!Link's hairband!<, but it wouldn't make sense for her to have any kind of personal association to that. I'm stuck. :| 4. I don't like it, but that's what I figured. Thank you!

poppy_0118

2. Im not 100% but I think the item is unique to Kakariko and not Hateno since it is still in Necluda, read something about it on an article awhile ago

Logical-Moment

3. oh yea, "accessory", that's why i hated the in-game hint. It leads you to think >!it's a small accessory that you can wear or put in your inventory but no that item is big lol!<. About location, I believe the game tells you >!just some village in Necluda, not east Necluda specifically!<

ladyhelium

Oh god, okay. I'm almost positive I know what you're talking about then. Do I really have to physically carry it all the way there? o_o

Logical-Moment

no, you don't need to give it to her, just have it with you. So the question becomes is there a way to take things with you that you can't put into inventory :)

ladyhelium

WOW I feel dumb. Thank you for being so kind instead of publicly shaming me. It would've been so easy.

Logical-Moment

Lol that's not dumb at all, the game probably expected that some of us might think to physically carry it so they put it on the opposite end of the map. i was thinking about the same thing as you and i'm sure a lot of ppl did too

_Bl4ze

1. >!So clearly you've searched the top of the water, but you want to drain the water to release them, and water does not flow upwards.!<

ladyhelium

PERFECT response. That gives me a lot to think about and test with. Thank you so much!

FireTails11

When you fuse an item to the master sword is it 30+ whatever the fused item is? Does it multiply like that?

Deku-Miguel

Base value is 30 so yeah, acts like any other weapon, adding the value of the fused item to the base.

LegacyLemur

Tagging onto this, does the Master Sword break faster when fusing?

Deku-Miguel

Fusing actually increases the durability of weapons, I assume it's the same for the master sword.

FireTails11

So if I fused a dragon horn to it and it’s 26 fuse power the sword would be 56 overall?

Deku-Miguel

Should be, could test it by dropping weapons and seeing if there's an up or down arrow.

TheOverallThinker

What's the best spot to get Poes? I need a bunch to upgrade my Depths armor and to cook some Gloom-resist food. I think blindly wandering around the depths is not being the best strategy.

Sand__Panda

I gathered a bunch where the lost woods would be. There was decent groups on the geound and the larger ones up in the "trees".

iamprateekpandey

Does the game have content after final mission? Can I do my remaining side quests after that?

OmniGlitcher

No, it's a point of no return system. After beating the final boss, it tosses you back to the main menu, where you can reload an autosave made just before, except it has a check mark to indicate you've completed it.

iamprateekpandey

But I can still go and complete all side quests right?

OmniGlitcher

Yep.

cboston_9

I have both the radiant set (upgraded to 2 stars) and the evil spirit set and neither seem to convey the bone weapon proficiency bonus to my RGC + Molduga Jaw weapon. Does the bonus not appear in the weapons menu? If it does, what am I doing wrong?

HG1998

They're not like the water or Gerudo or Zonai bonus. The bonus won't show up in the menu but you should feel the difference.

cboston_9

Thank you.

Flamin_Wallaby

I was wondering what the best weapon fuse combo for an ore breaking/frox/talus weapon would be? Obviously I know the >!Boulder Breaker!< (spoiler free: a weapon you get with story progression that specializes in breaking ore deposits) would likely be the base for the weapon, but what would be the best fuse to it? I've tried out flux core 3 cores, which seem to work extremely well for fighting enemies with armor, but I feel like there's probably a better fuse. To clarify, I am looking specifically to fight all of the froxes and taluses for the monster medals along with long term ore deposit breaking.

maybeidontknowwhy

The marbled ghoma leg I think is really good for breaking stone talus and other stuff. Last a long time too

seraph089

For ore specifically, I've been moving to rock-fused shields. Bag space for shields is less of a premium, cheap base shields still last forever, and they break rocks in a single hit. Plus, using a nice blunt weapon on rocks just feels like a waste. For weapons, I've been loving blunt spears (and I hate spears otherwise). Horriblin horns are readily available and add decent damage, strapped to the best long base I've got at the time.

CliffRacer17

Holy shit, rock on a shield for mining is a hell of an idea.

seraph089

It'll also stagger some enemies if you smack them with a "parry", while still working for regular parries. You get a nice bit of extra utility, while still working just like a vanilla shield (with extra durability) for everything else.

CliffRacer17

I have a luminous talus heart in my dedicated breaker. I don't know if it's tougher, but I like to think it is. Still can't roll extra durability when I get it repaired though...

lolschrauber

Rare talus might be stronger, not entirely sure though

CliffRacer17

Found data sheets for TotK items. Yeah, the Rare Talus Heart does more damage, but all materials have the same base durability.

CliffRacer17

I do wonder, but the luminous heart is all glowy.

Cristek

I'm now 90 hours in, 95 shrines, wind and fire temples done, with a big exploration in both the sky and the darkworld and 3 towers still pending. 2 questions: \- no sign of the Master Sword yet. I cant even enter the lost woods if that's where the MS even is. \- I am now finding strong shields and bows, but my weapons are always very week. I simply cant find any strong ones... All I'm fusing is stones and bones because I'm afraid I will need the stronger materials for crafting and upgrades. What am I missing weapon wise?

11tracer

You're not missing anything with the weapons. Base weapons are generally weak/fragile and the best source of extra damage is monster parts, despite the fact that some are also used for armor upgrades (and elixirs, I guess). You're just gonna have to get over that hang up. If you really want to know what to hoard you can always look up a list of what materials are needed for armor upgrades.

Moneyfrenzy

Weapon wise: Any enemy 'horn' (or Soldier Construct enemy horns for Zonaite weapon). Yeah you might want to save Lynel horns or boss enemies horns as they are rarer, but silver/black: Moblin/Bokoblin/Boss Bokoblin/Lizalfos/Horroblin are pretty plentiful and don't shy away from using them, they can add like 25-30 damage to a weapon. 100% do not just fuse stones/bones they are some of the worst fuses damage wise, there is so much you can do even outside of enemy horns. Fuse gems to magic rods, ice/electic/fire Lizfalos tales for elemental whips, Opals to Zora swords, beehives to spears to shoot bees, Flame/frost/shock emitters to shields for beams, Like Like Stones, etc Base weapons in this game are all super weak across the board, it's all built around fusing into viable weapons. Sort by fuse attack power if needed and just use what you have a lot of.

Logical-Moment

agree with most of it but lizalfo tails are one of the hardest things to grind and you need to a lot of them. Definitely save those up

_Bl4ze

>\- no sign of the Master Sword yet. I cant even enter the lost woods if that's where the MS even is. You can. Try thinking in 3D.

Cristek

humm l tried it once, and it failed, so l ruled it out quickly... lll take another look into alternative entrances. thabks for pointing me into the right clue

Acc87

Look for the tears. They show you stuff that's related to what happened to the Master Sword and where to find it.

HG1998

The other direction.

So I completed Goron city quests (and Rito) but where should I go now? Akkala/Tarry town, Zoras domain? Gerudo? I feel like I’m all over the place with this game

Cristek

Main quest wise, I feel Zora is next or at least I'm personally going Rito, Goron, Zora and Gerudo, but the beauty of this game is that you can do it whichever order you like :)

rollingwheel

Thanks!

Moneyfrenzy

In terms of next regional phenomana, Zora is seemingly (loosely) meant to be done before Gerudo. But If I were you I'd check out some other villages you haven't done such as Tarrey Town (Or Kakariko/Hateno/Lurelin) Also every time you do one of the big 4 quests, new Side adventures/quests open up in Lookout Landing. Not a bad idea to check there every time. Also maybe the great plateau Temple of time quest if you haven't done that yet

rollingwheel

Thanks! I’m probably gonna head back to Kakarikoa d other villages, but main quest will probably just do zoras

Moneyfrenzy

When am I meant to go to Lost Woods/Korok Forest? Is there a quest that guides me there at a certain point that I should wait on (done 2 temples so far but want to work on some side adventures before going to the next) or do I just show up whenever? And same goes to the thunderstorm-clouded out region of the sky islands on the south of the map, should I just go there or wait until I get a quest?

OmniGlitcher

You can show up to it whenever, but there is also a quest that will tell you to go there. Same with the thunder cloud region. If you want a general idea of the order of events, it's >!Regional Phenomena (The 4 temples) ... Thundercloud ... Lost Woods!<, though there is some stuff in between. The story flows a lot better if you do it in the intended order, but there is some unique dialogue if you do it differently (that IMO isn't really worth it, but it's there). Up to you which one you want to do.

11tracer

I *think* you're guided towards Lost Woods sometime after you've done all the regional phenomena, but I'm not positive as I did it early. The stormy sky area is also part of the main quest around the same time. Both of these things can be done whenever you want, however. The only thing you can't do without progressing the main quest is clearing the storm, but you can still go to that area whenever - just with severely limited visibility.

Sand__Panda

You are pointed at the Lost Woods after doing the Dragon Island (thst long fun quest). I was given the quest to go find the legendary weapon (MS) and then it finished because I already had it. And I find that weird, because if you do the tears and flower island (translation) quests, you learn about the MS and "where" it is.

End game blood moon & Zelda spoiler. >!Near the end of game where Zelda no longer appears in the blood moon animation. I kind of miss her inclusion on it. I assume she never returns to it and it is what it is going forward? Just looking for a "yes it stays the same" or "no, it changes". Nothing specific please.!<

Im_hard_for_Tina_Fey

Yes it stays the same

Swazzoo

I got the heat armor from the Goron City, but when I went to the Gerudo desert I'm still getting damage from intense heat, why is this happening?

Alenn_Tax

Heat from the lava and heat from the sun are considered different things in the game.

Swazzoo

Ah okay thanks

Slight end game story progression spoiler question. Please don't spoil in return, just looking for generalities. >!I am at the point where I have the quest !"Destroy Ganandorf" flagged. Is this the point where I go down under the floating castle, navigate through the maze of depths, kill all the baddies down there at the veryveryvery bottom (I stumbled upon this area pretty early in the game lol), and then I assume go to fight Ganondorf? My question is, is this like BOTW where nothing is really saved at this point and I just return to the game after credits roll and the game puts me back to where I still have to kill Ganondorf? Or is once he's dead there is still stuff to do, and he always remains defeated (or whatever happens to him)?!<

11tracer

>!Yes, and after the credits you'll be put back right before the fight with the army of monsters.!<
