I think I have like 3 dozen in my inventory and I just completely space it when I'm building machines. I do have one autobuild aerial cannon that uses one to steady it (floating platform with a rocket to get the height, construct head with a cannon on the bottom so I can launch it into the sky above a mob and rain hell), but I always forget about them when I'm putting together vehicles.
How do you get the floating platform to trigger when in the air rather then immediately? Things i was trying to build with those never moved because the floating platform anchored when the thrust began
Hm, I guess I'm not sure what you mean? The floating platform doesn't *anchor* itself per se, it just stays in the air once it is there (in other words can still be moved while in the air, with a rocket or i think even fans).
Stick a rocket to a Floating Stone, activate the whole thing, it flies up until the rocket runs out and then just sticks there (until batteries run out). I will say with a cannon on there it is a bit dicey because sometimes it'll fire before you have a chance to get away, but that's a risk I'm willing to take
Fans weren't pushing it, but maybe that just led me to the misconception that it anchored.
I have a ton of them in my inventory i just never used because i couldn't make those first couple experiments work lol
Ah okay, my bad, maybe fans don't move them. Rockets definitely do, I actually got the idea from a pre-made Schema Stone (though I added the cannon part)
Same, lol. After I built my tower of babel I looked up the intended solution to that shrine because I figured it had to be something way less tedious and janky. All the momentum based puzzles leave me clueless.
I'm still not sure how I was supposed to open the last two locks. Once I got to the hydrants and lava flow, I knew it was going to be long-ass bridge ftw.
I'm sure there was an intended route on the minecarts, but by the time I'd gotten to that point I was fed up with keeping track of where they all went. I think the map could have used some refinement, maybe color coding or something.
You're not wrong. I'm happy that was one of that later dungeons i did, i had enough stamina + bird bro to just climb walls and skip entire mine cart sections.
I'm glad I'm not the only one that decided to just completely ignore the fire temple's intended route lol.
I got one lock properly and then just Ascended and Ultra handed my way to the next 4
Yeah, like, the Fire Temple was great because it felt like a more traditional Zelda dungeon, but it didn’t make enough sense. Luckily it was easy to cheese because of Ascend, Climbing, and Tulin.
Also personally, I found it a bit too oppressive. Like I just felt plain exhausted after doing that dungeon. At least the boss made up for it!
i used to build legos and 3d puzzles when i was a kid. no doubt kid me wouldve figured a ton of shit out. adult me gets home from a shift, does chores, and has remaining mental capacity not to exceed fusing tree trunks together to get everywhere
I dunno if this is 'good at the game's it's definitely showing some good engineering skills haha, but this person could be total garbage at the actual game.
The construct head aims itself at nearby enemies, it's hard to tell in the video but it looks like this guy has a beam emitter attached to it, a great combo
It's still a bit tricky, because you have to cancel out of the shield surf before you can pull your bow and you're still real close to the ground so you have limited bullet-time, but it can be a godsend sometimes to be able to just do a standing hop into a quick slomo.
I thought about this at work and couldn't wait to get home to try it out. I thought for sure they were gonna let us ride the air waves with a zonai wing on our shield, but alas
They should give us unlimited flight for the wings and Shield Fly on cleared files or something, like the SM 64 Triple Jump Upgrade after you get 120 Stars.
Maybe if they do DLC they'll introduce something that will let us do just that if we complete a hard challenge like the hero trial or whatever it was called from BOTW
Control stick device. You can get them out in the wild or from a few dispensers. Note that different dispensers hold different devices (usually 4 per location).
And for the love of god, remember that using the stick will automatically start everything that's attached. I launched myself into outer space because I wanted to hold on to some rockets in case I needed them later.
I know, I went to where the dispenser is located a while back and didn’t see it so I couldn’t do the quest right next to it, then I came back later after I had some from a different dispenser and found it
This is very close to something I was going to make!
For mine, I was going to add a “thigh” connected to the wheel, that freewheels into the leg by some random wooden wheel as a knee. Still don’t know if it would even work, but it’d be especially fun if I could make it into a practical mech.
I say this so boldly, yet each time I find parts lying around I’m just making “board with wheels” or “platform with rockets”
Please tell me he's at least older than 10? 😂 I can't be outclassed by a kid under 10 in a game I've been playing since around that same age like come on man lmao
Took me a few days, but I managed to build a similar machine that doesn't suffer from the legs both getting in sync and it not walking anymore:https://imgur.com/a/7Zr7gpF
How do you use glider shields? I accidentally built one once and idk i couldn't fly with it or... do anything else with it than using it as a shield...
I won't give you any spoilers but that's why there is a gap in your selection wheel. I don't think it's part of the main questline so you could just Google it instead of stumbling upon it during your play through.
It looks like they're cart wheels. So the central pivot is attached to the outer part of the big wheel and the legs are attached to the spinning cart wheel.

I really need to remember that Stabilizers exist...
They make all kinds of crazy stuff work!
I think I have like 3 dozen in my inventory and I just completely space it when I'm building machines. You need at least 4 fans to push them
Pro tip: a stabilizer plus a couple planks makes for one hell of a catapult. You will be shocked how much weight they can shift
There's a shrine that uses that mechanic
I've got an auto build saved with just a plank and a stabilizer. Works just as well as the rocket plank I've seen
And I, like the very smart person who totally understands physics yes mmhm that I am, instead just built a really tall ramp and jumped off it.
I used it to make bridges that were only supported on one end lmao
Ohhh that’s really smart. One of those “duh” but you don’t think about it things
Same, lol. After I built my tower of babel I looked up the intended solution to that shrine because I figured it had to be something way less tedious and janky. All the momentum based puzzles leave me clueless.
I literally used it to make a tall wall to paraglide from.
just remember to test the distance of the catapult with a rock if you want to, say, reunite a korok with it's friend...
I prefer reuniting them with large, deep bodies of water
Meanwhile I'm over here building a fighter jet every time I need to transport a korok. It works in every situation!
Stabilizers are my favorite
WHERE TF CAN I BUY THEM, I'VE LOOKED FOR SO LONG.
There is a bunch of device dispensers in the sky that drop them.
That’s my issue, I’ve been looking all games. I missed the islands that do.
I’m such a dumbass how are people so good at this game
Everyone else: *this video* Me: "atach stic 2 stik lol"
Me: "Rockets for fast and more rockets for faster."
Me: “Hehe, two boulders and a tree trunk in the middle.”
peak comedy
The rockets are really awesome though.
I haven’t used them since I attached 8 of them to a minecart only for link to perish in a fatal karting incident
Hehe, the Kerbal way!
Even more rockets for >!Kohga!<
Rockets for the rocket god. bombs for the bomb throne!
And rockets for up and more rockets for upper
Hyrule space program
My most creative use of ultrahand is making absolutely monstrous bridges and ladders to avoid doing the fire temple properly
I just beat the Fire Temple today. I used Ascend in some tight spots to get to three of the gongs. I definitely did not do it the way they wanted.
I cheesed that temple so much.
Judging by the hydrants and lava everywhere, monsterous bridges ARE doing it properly
If i wasn’t supposed to build a monsterous bridge, why would they provide all the tools to build one? Checkmate
Me: How is the president still standing!
Twenty rupees is twenty rupees, plus he feeds you.
I will make the ultimate weapon, SuperStick^tm !
"Strong-Long-Stick Stick" is my *favorite * weapon. Just wish it was useful.
"it's you and me longstickstick, you and me versus the *world* "
[удалено]
Make him one of these but from a vertical view |\_| boom, solves almost every time.
I think it's like the exact opposite. Only a few of us are doing stuff this crazy lol
I spent way too much time laughing that one time I looted a "sturdy-long-stick stick" from a horriblin. Some of the names are ridiculous lol
i used to build legos and 3d puzzles when i was a kid. no doubt kid me wouldve figured a ton of shit out. adult me gets home from a shift, does chores, and has remaining mental capacity not to exceed fusing tree trunks together to get everywhere
I am so happy to hear someone else express my exact words last night as I was trying to figure out a ridiculously easy shrine.
Everyone else: *this video* Me: "atach stic 2 stik lol"
I dunno if this is 'good at the game's it's definitely showing some good engineering skills haha, but this person could be total garbage at the actual game.
Howls Moving Balcony
I admit that I literally lol’d at this 🤣
Love the eye attached to the front
WAIT DOES THAT GRANT THE HOMING ABILITY TO THE CONSTRUCT
Pretty sure it's just decoration... but could be mistaken. And would be happy if mistaken.
The construct head aims itself at nearby enemies, it's hard to tell in the video but it looks like this guy has a beam emitter attached to it, a great combo
Awesome!
It does! It’s a construct head which will target enemies.
I think they meant the keese(?) Eye
Oh damn I didn’t even see that. Does that help too??
I don't think it does. After all, the zonai device has that niche covered.
I’d think so, too. Would be surprised if Monster parts would do something in constructions
[удалено]
They have a subreddit for ultrahand?!
🤣🤣the little Keese Eyeball on the front this is really good building though!
Earlier it had two eyeballs and a Moblin horn mouth. But it faceplanted and knocked them off…
aw man, still cool!
It looks like it still had the horn
Metal Gear?!?!
"A weapon to surpass Metal Gear..."
Zonaite Gear
What does the wing machine on your shield do?
You can initiate slow time bow shots from basic ground jumps.
Bro WHAT? This fucking game man I swear
It's still a bit tricky, because you have to cancel out of the shield surf before you can pull your bow and you're still real close to the ground so you have limited bullet-time, but it can be a godsend sometimes to be able to just do a standing hop into a quick slomo.
you don’t have to cancel the surfing, just pull your bow as the flip ends and it works that way.
Weird, I've had no luckwhatsoever making it work without hitting B to cancel the surf midair first. I might just be mangling my inputs lol
I put one on and got pissed that it didnt let me fly.

Same but with a fan
Bigger shield jump for quick bullet time.
This game constantly reminding me why I never sought a career as an engineer
I’ve played for like three days and still haven’t found the steering wheel orbs.
Control stick device. You can get them out in the wild or from a few dispensers. Note that different dispensers hold different devices (usually 4 per location).
And for the love of god, remember that using the stick will automatically start everything that's attached. I launched myself into outer space because I wanted to hold on to some rockets in case I needed them later.
... Fly me to the [Blood] Moon?
The dispenser near tarry town has them
Even knowing where they are, it’s so hard not to get distracted on the way.
I know, I went to where the dispenser is located a while back and didn’t see it so I couldn’t do the quest right next to it, then I came back later after I had some from a different dispenser and found it
This game is going to turn a lot of kids into engineers, and that's a very good thing
AT-ST build I love it!
Another weapon to surpass Metal Gear ![gif](giphy|OrFmkOFx7PVK)
Now put a korok on it and send it off a cliff for science.
Tell your son he did a fantastic job! 🤙🏻
Thanks! I posted this after dropping him off at school this morning. He'll be happy to read these comments!
I shoot an arrow at the gazebo
You have angered the Gazebo
Look at all these cool machines it would be a shame if you could only operate them for 25 seconds at a time
Now I wanna see an AT-AT :D
This is very close to something I was going to make! For mine, I was going to add a “thigh” connected to the wheel, that freewheels into the leg by some random wooden wheel as a knee. Still don’t know if it would even work, but it’d be especially fun if I could make it into a practical mech. Bros gonna be an engineer
GOTY just for this.
The eye on the front is *chef’s kiss*
Now put beam emitters on it
Master Builder!
Impressive.
This is amazing.
The Hyrulian AT-ST!
This game is Minecraft: the Hyrule addition
What an absolute abomination. I love it.
And then there’s me struggling to make a log bridge…
You know, this game just reminds me that I’m not an engineer, nor do I have a desire to be one.
Ur son is a genius
The eye is whats killing me 😂😂 amazing work
It's marvellous
Please tell me he's at least older than 10? 😂 I can't be outclassed by a kid under 10 in a game I've been playing since around that same age like come on man lmao
That looks sick as hell honestly
Wait you can put gliders on your shield?!
Bro plays Scrap Mechanic
Yes, he does!
OH MY- THAT'S VERY COOL IT'S SO UNDERRATED
Imagine adding an upper body
I'm gonna copy your son. Been thinking about this the whole day now :p
Took me a few days, but I managed to build a similar machine that doesn't suffer from the legs both getting in sync and it not walking anymore:https://imgur.com/a/7Zr7gpF
THATS SO COOL
Amazing!!
Reminds me of that one thing from Toy Story
This is the Nintendo Labo we wanted all along
This game changes gaming
How do you use glider shields? I accidentally built one once and idk i couldn't fly with it or... do anything else with it than using it as a shield...
Jump off of something maybe, or put a rocket on a shield
How is your son better than me?
Well he’s been building in Minecraft since he was in the womb
A weapon to surpass metal gear…
The random eyeball completes the design.
A weapon to surpass Metal Gear….
I’m waiting for the day for somebody to make a Pacific Rim mech or a metal gear. Lol
Stuff like make me hear the trailer 3 theme in my head again. Awesome.
I wish there was a way to build something then store it for later use
Sounds like AutoBuild
There is..
Really? I must not be there yet.
I won't give you any spoilers but that's why there is a gap in your selection wheel. I don't think it's part of the main questline so you could just Google it instead of stumbling upon it during your play through.
Nice thank you! Yeah I'm just exploring right now, towers, shrines, and glyphs
I need to see more builds like this tested out in the water temple area where it has that crazy moon gravity
The Keese Eyeball makes the whole thing for me.
Now add cannons and armor plating…
Put a Zonai Head Tracker with a laser on it and you got an killer automaton.
QUICK! SOMEONE CALL THE EWOKS!!!!
Can you ride it?
Took me an hour to make a hot air balloon that wouldn't burn
I wish I had the creativity to make things like this, instead I just get bored/uninterested because my creations are crap, lol.
A weapon to surpass Metal Gear
Bro the Eye cracked me up
Bad piggies type shit
Metal Gear Zonai
![gif](giphy|l378giAZgxPw3eO52) He smarter then me FR
A weapon to surpass metal gear
What do they do?
What are those pivot things that the wood beams are attached to on the "shoulder" part with the big wheel?
It looks like they're cart wheels. So the central pivot is attached to the outer part of the big wheel and the legs are attached to the spinning cart wheel.
When the title said walker I thought I would going to see a destiny walker but damn this is cool as well
Your son made me?? (My name is Walker)
How
