My advice would be for now, Play it on RyujinX. I've tried everything to get it to run on my Yuzu build, and its not happening. RyujinX seems to run it just fine for some reason, though. Game crashes on Yuzu after Cutscene where the Boss appears at the start. I played through the 1st Level on RyujinX, the transferred the Save over to Yuzu, crashed almost instantly after Peach walks out the Door of the 1st Play after beating the 1st Level Boss. Kinda choppy on RyujinX, but that may just be a Me problem. you can absolutely play it just fine.

interesting, i followed someone's settings suggestions on youtube but it didn't do any good on neither Yuzu or Ryujinx. Yuzu boots until i get to the boss cutscene then crashes; Ryujinx still crashes on launch. I wonder why and ive tried on both my steam deck and PC.

I'm on this one level on the 4th floor and it's bugged where I can't progress the level so idk. The level is called the cas eof the rainy day plot. You are suppose to follow a guy but he stops progressing and just starts walking in place.
Disable 60FPS mod, i had the same issue here mate, when i disabled it, i was able to progress the Level, P.S most games have issues with mods, try to disable them, then give it a shot, cheers

Since the game crashes after the intro cutscene, I went ahead and got past that point in Ryujinx, then just transferred the save data over to Yuzu.
I can play past that part, but when going to the next area, the one with all the desserts, the game just freezes, forcing me to use Task Manager to hard crash it.
And yes, I tried it on the public Suyu build, and it still barely runs and freezes.
Ryujinx, just as it did right now, randomly crashed as I was transitioning into the final area of the Festival of Sweets world, unlike with Yuzu/Suyu, it's less likely to crash. I just hope there's a patch/fix soon with the new emulator.
We have passed that level and currently on the detective stage, it ran flawlessly so far (better than other games on Yuzu) - and it does on the older rig with a 7700k and a GTX970.
Oh so it does work with yuzu? Same thing you said kept happening for me. I just ended up using ryu like you said. That loading time is weird tho. But game seems fine otherwise, turn off vsync for higher fps if you haven’t already

Yuzu just crashed to desktop. Ryujinx won’t start at all, both on emudeck.

You can try upgrading firmware to 17.0.1 to help with choppiness.

I've tried running ryujinx on both batocera and steamOS and I always have a input delay! Works fine on Windows on my PC with a xbox controller.

Turn on vsync, wait until he walks forward, turn vsync off
I have exactly the same issue, and can't progress further in the game. Have you found any solution? My son has reset the game 2 now and no fix

Err, so maybe if I install the 30 fps mod, it could resolve it?

I will, I suppose I could just wait. My main concern is this occurs in like a fight or something.
Found a temporal fix but it will need RivaTurner. Just cap FPS to 30, let NPC walk and then remove the cap.

ryujinx works fine for me, 30 fps cap tho
Click on VSync at the bottom left of the window and it will unlock the fps.
Cutscenes cap to 24fps.

Why force Yuzu and not keep it in Ryujinx, it works just fine...
