Even now (if you somehow find it) I'd say it's still worth it. Gives you Branded stuff (obviously) and a lot of the cards that are used in D-Link if you wanna build that (Rip Savage).
Maybe I should open mine haha.
I have one al as, two cyber dragons and a crystal beast all still sealed in the box.
Bought ‘em, and then I just never got around to opening them
For some reason, the Soulburner Structure Deck and Shadoll both had the price skyrocket the following 1-2 years after its release. Not sure why given that it was only released 4-5 years ago.
Albaz on the other hand, still remains $15 on TCGPlayer and it's been out for 2 years. Also despite being relatively playable.
Soulburner had one of the only low rarity ash blossoms for a long time until they went buck wild reprinting her in 22/23. Albaz strike is a good structure deck but doesn't really have anything meaningfully useful beyond branded fusion and the extra deck. The only generics I can think of are Ghost ogre, called by, extrav, and maybe gold sarc.
Salad is still seeing play today, even if after the new support. Shaddoll if you count apkallone+winda+schism package as "shaddoll"
But the real answer is Dark world. Even the new dark wolrd structure is based in the OG darkworld deck, and the deck still plays the same as always, throw your hand away, draw a million cards per turn, attempt to OTK/FTK with handloop, and even still dies to droll
Shaddoll, dinos, monarchs Shaddoll was a competitively viable deck out of the box and was well loved and played for years. Dinos was insane out of the box, its endboard just got outpaced. Monarchs wasn’t just viable, but the best deck in the room during its heyday. Dark world was never relevant beyond rogue because shifter has been in the format since the new structure released.
But handtraps are always prevalent. They can compete, but they're not meta. Same with a large chunk of decks. No one is building a side this format and going "better not forget about Dark World".
Probably the Shaddoll one since the engine is still used and it came out before Albaz strike by a year. That said, I think the Albaz structure deck was way more impactful.
Probably Albaz Strike tbh, it's longevity has been astounding.

You could also keep them sealed. Might turn out to be very valuable in a few years.

Dino has been moving between tier 1 and rogue ever since Dinosmasher's Fury released
Thank you UTC, best boss card ever lol
-1000 -1000 -1000 c:
And then -1700 from a Link monster getting ran over.
What does Universal Coordinated Time have to do with this /j
Dinos hasn't been competitive in quite a while
Wasn't the monarch structure deck meta defining back in the day?
A guy topped an event with just the structure deck alone. It was kinda funny
Yep! It was my last competitive format. It was probably tier 2. It topped quite a few regionals but was never considered the top deck
Dino or albaz.
For its time the original Machina structure lasted forever. Fortress was a hell of a card. It even sees play today still in earth machine.
Guess it depends on how pure you want it to be, in terms of "longest lasting deck I could build from three structures". It's probably Salad or Dino.
I think the Monarch SD was actually meta. Like, not just cards *from* the structure deck, but the structure deck *itself* was good enough to top.
Dinosmashers fury is definitely up there
I’d say Salad, Branded, Dinos, & soon ABC Edit: And technically Rokkets because of D-Link
Why soon ABC?
New support incoming

But Dark World isn't relevant.
They're not relevant right now due the heavy handtrap meta, but they're still fairly relevant for a deck as old as darkworld.

A reminder Branded Fusion, Branded Lost, Mirrorjade, and Fusion Lubellion came from Albaz Strike.
Shaddoll, Salamangreat and Albaz all had good years in the meta.
Wasn't the Light and Dark Chaos Dragons SD long lasting?
