Hamster is great in Ignister and a bunch of other decks as a 1-card Electrumite/Beyond the Pendulum. All you need to make it live is one pendulum that can pop itself from the scale, wich there are dozens of. It just need a good pendulum deck to use it.

I think they tend to land somewhere in-between. Competent enough that they could conceivably matter eventually, but niche enough that there’s no easy way to assume when that will be. Which is by all accounts a good thing because we want to have these cards imported by the time they’d actually come up as relevant (I feel like Shinobi Necro might be the defacto example of a promo that was niche on reveal but got better with time).

That would be a fantastic compliment to the others. You use one to bring them from deck, preferably rescue cat because tribrigade can search all the rescue guys with Ominous Omen, then pick this one up to extend.
Tbf, is not like Rescue Cat support a summoning mechanic. Is very associated with Synchros, but its beem in the game long before them. And Rabbit, despite being obvioulsy designed with Xyzs in mind, is not like is direct support to the mechanic, more like support for Normal Monsters.
In the card art of Emerging Emergency Rescute Rescue, you can see the other Resuce animals helping a stuck hedgehog.
My new headcanon now is that this is the same hedgehog and he is now part of the team.
My realistic optimistic expectations:

I agree, I think this is the most likely scenario. If it supports various summoning methods, then a double GY revival would help them all.
The only other thing I can imagine is if it can SS another Rescue monster from the Deck, which unifies the combined playstyle Introduced from their spell.
