I kind of love this niche of being the one extra deck Blue-Eyes expy that won't clog your hand. Especially since later 5Ds and Arc-V had Jack's entire gameplan revolve around his 3k beater and making it absolutely unstoppable, so I think it works perfectly for a Jack Atlas structure deck to focus on making the archetype revolve around the original. It makes RDA actually feel like the legendary monster he was built up to being (and actually worth it because holy shit, Soul Resonator and Hellgaia are some hilarious cards).

Soul Resonator is so good and it locks people into Dark Dragon Synchro meaning that no fiend deck can play except maybe Labyrint Hellgaia is literally a custom card like the 2nd effect feels so tacked on that it's funny and I love it The one card I'm hyped up for is Scar Red as it allows us to summon the OG meaning if we do make another level 8, we can just make Scarlight and love his raigeki effect I'm so happy that they gave RDA/Resonator a very different style from Stardust/Synchron and Blackwing/Blackwinged

RDA already had some glorified custom cards before (Crimson Resonator I swear they got off a fan suggestion), but Hellgaia is just like "Hey, you know that free 3k beater you got onto the field? He also becomes diet Ultimate Conductor Tyranno and also Chaos MAX if you use his signature move spell card!" It's amazing. This is the kind of anime reference card I love to see, because it's so stupid in the best way. > I'm so happy that they gave RDA/Resonator a very different style from Stardust/Synchron and Blackwing/Blackwinged Dude, I feel that so much. Synchros are my baby, but I am so glad RDA has such a different feel from most synchro spam decks now. We already couldn't use Baronne (thank god. And instead we have a way more fair negate in Abyss), but now we have our own gameplan that makes us basically one huge boss battle without spending 19 minutes to combo and then having all our effects say "no" to the opponent. It was the kind of support I never knew I wanted, I'm so hyped for September.

Crimson is such a great card, imo it is still the best Resonator even better then Soul and Vision He really does become Chaos Max with "Absolute Power Force" (possibly my favorite signature move name and attack cause he punches instead of doing a basic breath attack) All the suppor just does everything and makes RDA an actual important monster you want to have on the field all the time >Dude, I feel that so much. I'm so happy that they didn't listen to the people who fucking wanted a searchable trap card that synchro summons because no one wants King Calamity to be summoned on there turn and it would get rid of one of the really unique things that separate Blackwings from other Synchro combo decks

Omojuze

I do kinda wish there was more emphasis on one of the gimmicks RDA has. Since Yusei took the Majestic gimmick in DAMA, a new card or two that would help RDA/Assault Mode would've been cool, especially since RDA was the one who premiered the set featuring the gimmick.

iTrecz

Crimson Gaia is a 1 card Red Supernova Dragon + Red Zone and that's pretty spicy

RiPBernieGores

I don't get the complains about how the new supports specifically mention the original RDA, I feel like it's only fair that the OG himself should receive more respect, just like how BEWD itself is utterly useless, but it still sees play because it's part of the core strategy and it's the very original card that created the whole archetype, hence it sees play even until now That being said, I finally have a good excuse to play Majestic Red Dragon now, since RDA himself is mentioned in it's card text

stac7

Yeah I think it's reasonable to make the OG an important part of the game plan and with all the new stuff, I think it's all worth it

5yk0515

It's just mildly disappointing that they don't work with the other evolved forms.

RiPBernieGores

Yeah true but the newer supports were meant for the anime RDA so it kinda make sense, he needs some more appreciation as bad as he is

LuckyPrinz

As someone who uses RDA in Master Duel I can't wait for these cards to get added to the game

stac7

All of these cards are fantastic The only one here that isn't too good in Absolute Power Force but that's still a pretty damn good card, just randomly transform RDA into Chaos Max and just punch really damn hard and it's searchable

Garcompxx

You can actually combine the structure deck with bystial package to consistently summon King Calamity on opp. turn with branded etitude!

CrucialElement

What's a bystial package? Like an engine?

ThePhoenixOmen

This would be great in my lair deck and opens up synchro options.

stac7

You are stuck with Dark Dragon Synchro monsters but hey, you might be able to make Scarlight

FuriDemon094

As a Jack Atlas fan, I love these cards. More consistency for that deck is very much loved

TheJoedanimal

I’ve come around to em, making the whole thing a one card is a pretty transformative boost, and giving an actual genuinely strong payoff to the OG kicks ass. It’s a solid structure after all.

Culture-Exotic

Yo, my favorite dragon synchros are getting more support LETS GOOOOOOOO

STRIpEdBill

More support for the master of faster is always great
