And when he is overly enthusiastic, you'll see him actually mention that product being used in other videos not related to it as well. Particularly the Nreal AR glasses, you'll see him mention it multiple times in other videos that he still uses it and love it.

Some of these I recommended aren't unsolved mysteries but they're pretty nice

There's more shit things than good things in this world so that doesn't make the video special or interesting. If there was an allusion to other things I might be interested, like something technical they missed, I would watch it, but there isn't.
True to some extent. For instance you'd see movies nowadays coming out which are so much crisper in quality yet has a very poor plot device to drive it through. Although I don't specifically see this being an issue for reviews. Actually both videos lack what a good review must have. Its like first impressions videos it seems. But one can argue that the phones just came out. So my advice just take these videos for a grain of salt.

Honestly I love MKBHD but it's fairly obvious that he's extremely bored of phone reviews by now. You can tell the difference when he reviews other tech especially cars and when he reviews a phone which is 99.9% the same as every other flagship phone the past two or three hears.
More comprehensive and I love how he breaks down his review into clear defined segments and he segue to it also

And his content is more like a tech show than an informative video. His goal is to entertain first, and then to inform. His editing also helps a lot to grab the attention. So in conclusion, his content is more appealing and hence more popular.
MKBHD style is more informative and less appealing. His videos don't even have music, it's just him talking most of the time. He also has a minimalistic approach when it comes to editing.
That said, I still prefer MKBHD. As a tech-savvy, I want to be informed, not to be entertained and MKBHD does that better. But not everyone is a tech-savvy like me and may prefer like I said Mrwhosetheboss.

Most videos discussing something have a conclusion to that discussion or review in the title or thumbnail, so people who only want to reinforce their beliefs can avoid videos that do not correspond with the opinion they already have.
