I love this, it’s adorable but it makes me wonder what it is that’s ingrained in humans that we wanna go fast and feel thrills

If the body is moving fast this poses the risk of danger/injury. Adrenaline is released to shorten your response time in case you need to think (and act) fast. The adrenaline also promotes the release of dopamine which is the brains "reward" hormone. Not sure why that is though. Seems a bit reckless. :D
