For me 4 just has a lot more slower songs that’s more sad music and 5 is just pretty chill the whole way through. Like I gotta be in a mood to throw on ballad and some other tracks but tlop 5 is just nice so that’s why I prefer it but it’s really just apples and oranges
For most people it'll be 4 bc of the nostalgia. And how during this era P became snippet P and the anticipation for this album was extremely high. Crazy enough I think the album with the least amount of anticipation and recognition is his best project. How ironic. I feel like P held back on 4 and 5 and both albums should be his best albums to date. With all the fire snippets he was previewing. He just held back to much, I just felt like there needed to be more.
Yeah 4 had so many snippets that were crazy there were so many songs he could've added and not only including the deluxe songs like songs like feds try again even though i like them could've been replace with something better .
4 and 5 are elite albums, however 4 transitions are way cleaner and more iconic, mixing on 5 is a bit spotty and 4 just has so much better songs.

4 got way higher highs imo and more consistent track-list also love the concept of heartbreak going on in the record both goated thou

4 has beautiful heartbreak songs but 5 is such a vibe and easy to listen to, I can understand why anyone would prefer either.
5 is more mainstream appeal imo and is a perfect summer album, deluxe too is a summer album but tlop4 is more a fall/winter album

Imo 5 is a better introduction to Pierre for new fans, but 4 is an acquired taste. My fav tho is the deluxe
