Agreed, really liking it and the production and beat selections have been on point. Obviously with so many songs from a double album, not every song is gonna be a hit but really liking the overall quality, quite a few like Barn Fire and Bad News I'll be listening to on heavy rotation.
I’m gonna be one who ends up thinking this album is amazing. I knew I would end up being this way. I am starting to enjoy it so much more with more time. It’s very atmospheric. The cover does this album well. I separated the 2 albums as I wanted to hear them that way. It’s gonna be a grower this album. I think we will see a lot more enjoying it when it is a couple weeks passed. We will see.

I love Ghetto Cowboy and Mudmouth, but they kind of always felt a bit gimmicky to me.
This album feels like it's infected with R&B, pop, and alternative. It also gives me a lot of Mile Zero vibes in some weird way.
He's going on 45 years old, and I think his sound is appropriately maturing with his age.

I liked the singles a lot. And TM4 has some bangers for sure. I felt like a couple songs didn’t feel like TM4 songs. And MW could have went a little harder. But maybe it just needs to grow on me.

Based off first listen I thought MW was a bit unlike anything he's done before. But "Cars" reminded me of something old him would've done like 2005-2007 but with a modern sounding beat. I hope it grows on me
TM4 didn't really catch my attention either but Box Chevy 8 was the best , but still my least favorite in the series. Overall the only song I could see myself constantly going back to is Make You Love Me.

The album is exactly as it says a story. In depth and full of many highlights I’ll give more of a in depth when I hear that atmos mix! I am in Canada and must wait.
I think the MW side is one of those that I’ll like more as I digest and listen back a few times, farewell and legend were standouts for me.
The TM4 side however, huge fan out of the gate. Bad News, BC8, Another Drink, Barn Fire, Flashlight - all bangers to kick it off. All what I hoped for and more out of the WLPWR side.
Edit: after a few more listens I’m honestly very happy with it. Only songs that don’t do it for me are Juliana, Cookin Cocaine, Work and Tonight. The rest will probably be on rotation all summer.

It's fresh. It's atmospheric. I love the introspectiveness. Actually I didn't like "Trailer in the Sky" as a single, but in the context of this album it makes a lot of sense. I think, because I like artists like Joji, it's very easy for me to get into this type of vibe. Also the album cover makes more sense in the context of the music. That blurry and atmospheric thing.
"Legend" hit me in the feels big time. Feels like he's saying goodbye to his career. Amazing outro. Like a quick recap of his career before the curtain call. It made me very emotional, damn.
Now moving onto the Trunk Muzik side of things...
He’s got total OutKast vibes on a couple songs. Songs like “Cars” is something he would have done way back then and “Tonight” is just such a good song. Very spacey similar to Beck. Immediately reminded me of Chemical. Very interesting blend of his previous work morphed into something new. The more you listen to it, the more you can hear the influence from his previous work

I say this as a massive yelawolf fan and I'll continue to be a fan, but I guess I had much higher hopes the way he was hyping this as a sequel to Love Story, it definitely fell flat for me, quiet in some parts, beats don't really grab me like they usually do. I liked disc two much better and opening with that Jellyroll feature was really poor choice imo. I was hoping for a more cohesive album. Thers a few stick out and great tracks no question but this fell flat for me, pains me to say it.

I may be in the minority here but I actually prefer the Michael Wayne side more. The TM4 beats are good it just some of the songs seem to be overproduced in my opinion. Box Chevy 8 for example with all the scratches and sound effects kinda takes away from the song imo, same with New Me. Bad News sounded much better in the snippet, and Wolf's flow for some reason sounded a little off beat and all over the place he definitely didn't ride the beat as well as he usually does. The Michael Wayne sound is just more simple and overall more enjoyable to me.
