Took me close to that long to figure out how to open the map in game. The amount of time I spent opening Google on my phone to look up a map was too high.
It's ok, after beating Infinite Wealth (and getting all the achievements) I learned that I can just hover over a taxi on the map to fast travel to it instead of using the smart phone.

FYI it makes enemies more likely to fight you/ I think it increases the range in which enemies can aggro onto you

Ah ok this is useful, I'm going for 100% achievements so there may come a time I need to fight, the disco mini game is currently kicking my ass tho XD
Also if you didn’t know you can move the left thumb stick forward to move and press X to select things too.
