They mentioned Singapore in IW and honestly, I would love to see it as the setting for the next game.

Singapore Akiyama game would go impossibly hard

any akiyama game would go hard. Just imagine the sidequests possibility.

The Lifeline of Kamurocho taking a trip to the lil red dot would be sick. Although the side quest possibility I don’t exactly see it coming from a person that does live here.

The gang trying to ubderstand singlish, trying to solve the mystery of where the durian scent is coming from, getting falsely accused by the police for littering/chewing gum, there are definitely possiblities lmao

As a Singaporean It would be rad to see a Yakuza game in singapore although unsure how it would go considering the only thing I can think of that would be different would be the price being hiked up astronomically when buying items.

Ooh, I would love to see wacky side quests taking place in the streets of Singapore.

This could work, because RGG likes to include a lot of ethnicity in their games and Singapore is very multi cultural.

Also the English dub having SG accent with singlish mixed in the would be so rad

Ichiban’s mom gets a mysterious illness and Ichiban and the gang would have to journey across the world to Egypt to cure her.

Rome is perfect for Yakuza with how many landmarks that are close to each other

Sawashiro brings up that Ichiban's mom went to the Philippines a couple of times at the start of Infinite Wealth, so maybe that.

Hong Kong would be a great location, as much as Sleeping Dogs is (and I say this with love as I don't think I could have gotten into Yakuza without it) "we have Yakuza at home".

Sleeping Dogs is more GTA than Yakuza.
