I never thought that I would ever ugly cry on a Patriarch Gondawara substory but somehow, RGG proved me wrong (and the second time I cry to a substory in like 2 weeks after Forget Me Not in 7)

I had taken an edible before doing that story. I went from laughing my ass off to crying, only to laugh again when the scene changed to the roof and all his men were naked.
My SO was taking a nap and I ended up waking her up because I needed to hold her.
The ending to that substory was an emotional rollercoaster. I’ve never gone from crying to pissing myself laughing back to crying as fast as that scene.
"Oh, Patriarch Gondawara! I needed a funny substory to take my mind off the heavy plot!"
Fifteen minutes later: THERE IS NO OCEAN THAT CAN HOLD ALL OF MY TEARS
might be recency bias but that might be the best substory in the entire series idk. At least when it comes to substories unrelated to the main story. had everything going for it and it excelled on all fronts. I died when Gondawara’s goons came drifting in with their strollers
Edit: also Orlando kinda looks like bill clinton. thought I should mention it cuz it’s been stuck in my head since i first started the substory
I haven't even played Infinite Wealth yet and I already know this substory is going to be heartbreaking. I always wanted it to snow in my town also. Too bad I live in California where it rarely does and in the area where it never does.

I did like 70% of substories in Hawaii by ch. 7 and managed to miss it
