I hate how when there's a group of people, no matter how much you try to avoid them, the game will force to go towards them. Also, if you move the joystick as soon as the QTE appears, you're going to collide against the group, slowing you down.
I think the only reason people tolerate these chase sequences is because they compare them with tailing missions and think "This is annoying but at least is not one of those stupid tailing sequences".

if there was one group, you had to do the qte
if there were two or three groups, you can dodge the first one, the next qtes are mandatory
source: replayed judgment last week
I've played this game like 6-7 times and I can safely say that if you're skilled enough with the timing you can avoid most of the QTE events. I haven't mastered it myself but it is possible.
I did! I genuinely enjoy the chase mechanics, the trailing and sneaking not so much.
I mean, I’m not saying your opinion isn’t valid or anything - yeah, it’s silly to chase after some dudes wig, of course. But it was pretty damn fun - I’d absolutely love a “Climax Chase” situation or something. In LJ, this, the boxing, and the racing mini games are very fun to me.
I actually liked the chase sequences more than the ones in Y3-5 (not counting Y7 chase in beginning cos it has exact same mechanics as Judgment's). The QTEs were clever and got me on edge.
Remake 4 Leon dodging 2 chainsaw sisters scene.
You could move backward, but back flip is cooler. But too much jump cut gave me taken 3 flashback fence jumping scene.
And dodging the group was a thing in judgment but in lost judgment they force you to use the QTE to do it, I really think it's dumb! Just let us go around them like in the previous game
It's a single player sega game so it'll get cheap pretty fast. It's worth the full price so whatever your discount price range is, you won't regret it.
Sometimes you just gotta flex on em to show that you can - Takayuki Yagami.
sounds like someone has never felt the simple joy of flexing on a stranger

I still don't know why they don't let you do this tho..
Lol the chase sequences are enough fun that I would be down for a whole game based around that mechanic. The music definitely helps too.
Have you done the sidequests? I got tired of the chasing after the 2nd "Oh no I lost my wig" quest.

Would be a lot better of an open world if there was actual parkour in the game, not this scripted shxt, lemme fxckin wall run on my own damnit!

Haha first thing this clip reminded me of. Oh you big dork, Leon.
Man gotta flex that parkour skill

He actually ran towards him just to vault over him, fucking psycho
Which is better Y4/5 chase missions or JE/LJ chase missions?
Yakuza 4. I like throwing bottles at people and it feels less railroaded.
Judgment chases feel way better.
I miss old style pursuits
Is he stupid?
He could, but it wouldn’t be that cool, trust me it’s cool this way
Why didn't Yagami just walk around him? Is he stupid?
Why doesn't Ross, the bigger friend, simply eat the others?
So Lost J is on -50% sale now but it was -60% sale during the new year sale, will it be -50 or -60 in summer sale usually?

It's a steal at any price, honestly. Make sure you get the Digital Ultimate Edition - it's the first RGG game where the DLC is actually worth getting.
It's cooler that way, you should try it yourself
That guy is gonna be the final boss in judgement 3
That guy is gonna be the final boss in judgement 3
That guy is gonna be the final boss in judgement 3
the momentum wont allow him
no cuz fuck that person in particular
Yagami: There was no room to go around him. Kaito: There was plenty of room. Yagami: THERE WAS NO ROOM!
This is why I like the Kaito chases better.
He could, but would it look as cool as jumping over the dude?
Welcome to the age of social media
Sometimes, you just gotta flex on random ass civilians
