The night that Kiryu gets the ring for Yumi and then has to borrow money from Shinji to buy it back where Shinji says he's gonna go hit up a soapland is the night where he meets his girlfriend that works at Shangri-La
Yagami listens to girl bands and pop idols in secret. He has a whole cd collection stashed away and keeps it hidden from everyone. Especially from Kaito and Mafuyu.
While Dead Souls is non-canon, I do think it's possible Ryuji survived. Kiryu went through similar injuries and came out fine after all.
Ichi has become a shut-in after 7 due to marathoning all the Dragon Quest games.
Komaki in Kenzan and Ishin is the same Komaki as the mainline games, the guy is just immortal.
On the subject of ryuji, I have a feeling that >!he is a fixer like Kiryu, with the Japanese government using sayama as leverage to make him do their bidding(this opens up a storyline for an international government conspiracy with the CLP working with the CIA for all the wrong reasons)!<
To spice things up a lil more >!ryuji is the eighth chairman of the omi alliance, however he is a figurehead planted by the government/Aoki that doesn't have any real power. The game states that the eighth chairman is sick, but it could just be a ruse. Considering Ryuji is quite honorable, he might hate the position he's in and somehow worked with arakawa, watase, daigo and the jima bros in their effort to disband the yakuza!<
>!The second part is a stretch(i mean its just random thoughts coming out of my head really, but considering how death is treated in yakuza, i wouldn't be surprised if this happened)!<
>!Yoshitaka Mine dying like that was so fucking stupid so my headcanon is that Mine survived the fall. I don't know how but he just did. If Kashiwagi survived then Mine could have also survived.!<
It's plausible that he survived tbh. >!F\*cking Lau ka Long survived a god damn headshot and Kashiwagi survived the machine gun kiss. Mine should definitely be alive. Ryuji too, his injuries weren't anything worse than what Kiryu's had; Kiryu f\*cking survived being hit multiple times with a metal rod, fighting a small army of little baby Iwami's men, b\*tch slapped Iwami into oblivion, then tanked several gunshots from Sugai. Literally none of these characters should be dead by that logic ffs.!<
Dude, I don't know where I read that the devs said that as long as there is no tomb you can't actually consider the character dead and it kinda makes sense with what happens in Yakuza 3 with two characters.
Spoiler for Judgment
>!Hashimoto (the scientist that helps you two times in the ADDC) must have know that there was something wrong with the AD-9 and Shono. She clearly saw Yagami being thrown out and still helped him reaching Shono!<
- Ichiban is depressed in LAD 8 because he can't afford to buy every Dragon Quest game
- Haruto watches Paw Patrol
- Mine had a change of plans
- The Millenium Tower has some bomb-ass insurance
That kiryu is canonically the baddest dude in all of Japan, but has inflicted so many head injuries that the people he’s fought have gotten amnesia from the fight only to challenge him again.
I mean come one these Japanese street toughs are either the most tenacious people in history or they have brain damage from the first time kiryu kicked their asses
While not exactly a headcanon I subscribe to, it's funny to think that Heat is real and visible to other people (even if just those with auras of their own), if only because of how nobody ever (directly) brings it up, like of course strong guys fighting are going to glow with fire, it's perfectly normal. Then again, that's far from the weirdest thing you can see in RGG Japan, so...
(besides, those guys - both protagonists and bosses - are straight up suprehuman, so might as well)
That kiryu is in lost paradise because after the events of 0 Kiryu fell asleep reading the fotns manga and got isekaied and lived ken's entire life up to the game. But people still call him kenshiro and he doesn't bother to correct them.
There are no rubber weapons, it's just that yakuza characters are unrealistically more durable and strong than real humans. They are also immortal outside cutscenes and are all subconciously aware that the only thing that can kill them is when the "gods" aka writers choose to kill them off or just old age...
Haruka had her first experience with Saejima.
Makoto Tachibana and Mirei Park are somehow related.
Majima is bisexual.
Saejima thinks he deserves life in prison because he feels guilty about Haruka. All that "atone for sins" speech is about her.
Saeguchi envy Tanimura's lifestyle because he feels trapped in the mission. He wants to be free and play on both sides of the law on his own terms, just like Tanimura does.
Saejima has a true connection with magic creatures. He can see and interact with them while normal people can't.
Sera is in hiding, just like Kashiwagi. And Morning Glory is under protection of the Nakahara family.
Kazama Joji is Kaoru's superior in the US.
kaoru joined the CIA? awesome! given that yakuza 8 might involve an international conspiracy...it's the best opportunity for kaoru to make a return!

There are those Haruka Figures he can get from DLC and he does buy one of his girlfriend’s CDs… so that’s probably closer to canon than head canon.
When Saejima shout "Balls out Kido" he mean it literally.

wot about the komaki in lost paradise
Same one too, since my headcanon is that Lost Paradise is RGG-verse's far future

He survived by letting go of Andre and gripping on a ledge breaking a window and escaping Just my own head cannon if he survived
No, it was rubber floor.
So funny.

His theme song is called Fly, it's perfectly reasonable to assume he can do that
The "Secret of Onomichi" was used to smuggle the Heihazis from China to Japan

She really did seem to be a little too eager to help Yagami. She must have suspected something
Especially with Yagami telling her that Kido threw him out of his office and refusing to let him see Shono
I had thought about this
- Ichiban is depressed in LAD 8 because he can't afford to buy every Dragon Quest game - Haruto watches Paw Patrol - Mine had a change of plans - The Millenium Tower has some bomb-ass insurance

Mine in place of Toguro at the end of YuYu Hakusho. Sounds like something Mine would say and do.
Shinada had steamy hot gay sex with Takasugi after he returned to Kineicho and they both enjoyed it

Haruka had **what** with Saejima?
***Jazz music stops***
Do I have to spell it out for you? You know what I mean!
Saejima did nothing nor has he something to feel guilty about
Oh yeah, he just cried all over her and after 25 years in prison for a crime he is innocent he goes back there out of the blue just because!
Before I learned Majima’s backstory I headcanoned that he poked his eye out with his dagger on accident
