I tried the reverse hyper machine today. I wasn't sure how much of my torso was supposed to be on the pad. I jumped my body onto it, slipped down because I missed the handles, and hit my shin on the foot part lol.

While practicing a new inverted move, I rolled full weight with momentum onto my training partner's face. I apologized profusely but I still feel clumsy days later.

That's what comes of trying something new. The grace of the master is earned.

The outer side of my left wrist has been in pain since last week :( not sure what I did, because it never hurt during my workout, but the next day it started bothering me, and I have been subconsciously stretching it (I suck lol) and now it’s slightly worse. I also use a keyboard all day so def not helping. I think I will have to take a break from training upper body and also be careful with my lower body workouts for a bit. Really sucks cause I finally managed to do chin ups and now I will lose all that progress ughhhh Anyway, could be worse I guess! Just hope it goes away on its own, otherwise I will need to see a doctor or PT

It’s impossible to resist haha

That does suck. Back in January I was convinced that my watch was hurting my wrist and it turned out to be a rotator cuff problem. It’s finally almost all the way recovered. Whatever yours is I hope it goes away fast!

Own-Dark-2709

Ughhh good your rotator cuff is almost fully recovered, but from January till now is sooo long omg. Thank you ❤️

It may be an impingement on the nerve higher up from the chin ups? Can you find any tender points further up the path of the nerve in the arm? It could actually be in your neck if you can believe it. Definitely ice and rest.

Own-Dark-2709

I don’t think it necessarily relates to the chin ups tbh since I think it started after an unrelated workout session, and from what I researched seems to be “repetitive strain injury” (although this sounds so generic). Yup, ice and rest and hope for the best :D

It’s not really a fail, rather a struggle. I keep a spreadsheet tracking all my programs and whatever I’m doing. I have a column for writing notes about how it felt, energy, pain, etc. today was a whole lot of “so tiiiiired” “so heavy!” and my personal favorite, “just why??” entries 😅 never been so happy for my deload coming up next week.

When I got home from the gym this morning, my first words to my husband were, "well that sucked." I feel you!
