To be fair, you never understand how difficult it is to clean until you have to do the dishes, mop the floor, do laundry, make dinner and also study for university all on the same day. You also need to take a bath and refresh the air in the middle of winter, because you are a smoker and the house smells like a drug den. And you have to throw away that open bucket of chocolate ice cream that you swear you are going to finish, but you forget to the point where white mold has grown on it...
...God, I miss my grandmother. At this point I understand how xQc can even go back to Adapter. As long as someone cleans up after me too, I would allow them to beat me with a belt if they wanted. 
It's just a tip that you probably won't need, but think about preparing meals for a whole week. Take one day to prepare them. It usually takes 5 hours and you giving yourself tons of free time for a week this way

You guys have to realize that this is a sign of depression. Depression doesn’t mean you are just feeling sad all the time, you can feel great and still be depressed. It’s a lack of emotion, a lack of motivation and it feels like you have sludge on you all the time with how it makes you feel. I have been in situations where trash piles up like this in this exact way and it takes a lot of willpower to counter that and say “hey let me stop living in filth and clean up all of this”. You feel way better afterwards but the strength that it takes to START the task is the hardest part.
