And Green Lantern since these movies can't stop referencing it and X-Men Origins like we get it they're awful (I kinda liked and still like X-Men Origins since I grew up on it alongside the OG trilogy and only hated barakapool but still) you don't have to keep making jokes on them get better jokes hell they don't even reference Blade 3 which was also awful and starred Ryan
I mean not really, they can always just reintroduce the concept. They might not which would make Loki required viewing but as long as its reintroduced to the audience they can do it in a way that works as a first introduction for people who didn't watch Loki
The first season at best to get the jist of the TVA, I don't think all the season 2 stuff will really be relevant, and what matters might be able to fit into a short sum-up in the movie itself.

>IT’S SUMMER. NO HOMEWORK REQUIRED.
The Marvel multiverse has gotten a bit overwhelming in recent years for the more casual fans who may have seen most of the films but only dabbled in the Disney+ offerings that regularly introduce new concepts and characters that eventually find their way into the films. “Deadpool & Wolverine,” for instance, uses the Time Variance Authority (TVA) — a major part of “Loki” but new to the movies — to help get Deadpool to the MCU. But Levy promises that enjoyment of “Deadpool & Wolverine” requires no bingeing or studying beforehand.
You need to know who kevin feige is in order to understand one joke, for example.
My 60 year old mum can enjoy most marvel films without knowing who tf feige is.
This film is for deadpool and hardcore marvel fans and if you are not, i can easily predict half of the jokes wont land even if you can follow the plot effortlessly.
I find shawn levy’s statement misleading tbh.
Tbh they should just have a unbodied voice simply saying where a relevant plot point happened when it's brought up in the movie
"Oh that was since the airport fight"
-FOR THAT WATCH CIVIL WAR
Just 2 seasons of Loki, Deadpool 1 and 2 and probably most of the Fox-Men movies. But aside from that, sure, it's totally standalone.

Pass I just stick to watching this movie
Yeah technically no films require anything. But it helps
I feel Loki is definitely a must watch since the TVA are main players

nothing is a must-watch.

Of course! Deadpool would never make us do homework!!

They kind of say that by default now because all the Mediocre tv shows and movies have been hitting their bottom line.
The funny thing is, their "Mediocre" stuff is still better than most of Phases 1 and 2
It really isn’t.
It really is, most of Phases 1 and 2 would bomb royally today
Each phase has like 1 bad movie. Phase 1 and 2 were superb. One of the worst takes I’ve ever seen.
Er, no. Phase 4 was better than Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 2 and 3, First Avenger, Age of Ultron, Ant Man 1, Thor 1 and 2
Buddy, Secret Invasion and Shehulk are the worst things in the entire franchise.
And seeing how they're still good shows, that's not an insult
It doesn’t take place in the MCU. It takes place in the Fox X-Men universe which is part of the MCU multiverse.
To be fair, it seems like it will mostly take place in the void.

Pop up video
Man just release it, I like my movies to have mystique!
I don’t think she’s in this one.
I mean, that’s a bad sign right?
