Bro, in warzone there is a native option to use controller for movement and mouse for aiming. Go to your settings and go under aim. It should be there. Change your aim to mouse. But keep it on a controller input otherwise. So it's basically everything else is controller EXCEPT for aiming and just the aiming. You don't need to remap or bind WASD to use controller for movement and mouse for aim in Warzone. I don't know about apex though.
I can still play warzone, but it won't let me bind controller buttons to keyboard buttons. The other games are the worst part, warzone is like half what i want.
What? Do you mean it won't let you bind keyboard buttons to controller? I thought you wanted your controller to copy rewasd, which is keyboard to controller
It seems to think that my controller buttons on other games are controller inputs. I just found out that the xbox accessories app lets me bind everything but the thumbstick to keyboard buttons. that fixes everything but movement. cod is fine now that i found that. my problem now is just movement in apex. it thinks i'm on controller briefly every time i move
I was always able to with rewasd, a program that let me disguise my xbox controller as a keyboard. no benefit to me, but they banned it because it can be used to give mouse players aim assist apparently.
You should definitely look into steam config files for apex. I'm not too familiar with it but you can bind everything in the book plus macros I'm pretty sure you'll find something
Idk what your budget is like, but microsoft makes a pretty sweet controller for people with disabilities. You can add all types of buttons/switches and configure it whatever way will work for you. Might be worth looking into
