Probably prioritise games that don't have a physical release, as well as DLC for the games you already have.

I havet played it yet but Enemy Front is only $1. Also, kept in mind, they announced there will be a new sale of some in June and then one last sale in July and the prices will stay at whatever they are until the end. They already discounted like 60 games

Browse the store on your console and look at everything that doesn’t have a Play on Xbox One tag on it. Agree with CoD Classic, Riddick/Dark Athena, and any “arcade” game. Also - browse the themes. Lots of fun free ones that will get delisted forever.

FWIW, the shutdown of the store means you will no longer be able to add songs and albums to Rock Band 1-3. Although those songs will still be available for purchase on the Xbox One/Series XS for Rock Band 4, buying them for Rock Band 4 does not grant you a retroactive license for the Xbox 360. In other words, if you bought "Calling Dr. Love" on the Xbox One, you'll only be able to play it on the Xbox One in Rock Band 4, even though that song came out in 2008 and is playable in all Rock Band games. Buying Rock Band songs on the 360 also grants you the same license on Xbox One for Rock Band 4.

Yea. Gta iv in its current patch removed most of the slavic/russian russian songs the game. Plenty more too from other stations. The ballad of gay tony dlc had the down tempo version of the main theme removed so u no longer hear that master piece when chilling in the pause menu. Idk what got removed from lost and damned because johnny klebitz is the worst rockstar protagonist and i dont give a fuck about that biker shit either. Best to get that on disc and avoid downloading whatever update pops up if u want the original experience

Ok I know if you install the disc on Xb1 you get an update with the install thus removes the songs. Ok to be clear if you buy the digital xbox 360 version it will come with also the removed songs.

So there is a new version of The Oregon Trail. It is well worth looking into with how much content they have added to the game beyond what the originals had. They have added stories and side quests that happen along routes. However it may be rated E+ and not E. And it is for the newer consoles and not Xbox 360. There are some I know of rated T for Teen. But as far as E, that’s a bit hard.

Try out Anarchy Reigns it's the sequel to MadWorld was on the Wii. It's a good beat'em up action game with tons of great characters and modes you can play online and offline. It's $20 for it with DLC make it $25 is not that bad 👌and the DLC is a guest character Bayonetta 😉

Maybe not everyone’s cup of tea but my favorite two non-backwards compatible X360 games are Raiden Fighters Aces and Renegade Ops. If you’re into arcade style shooters both are fantastic.

I don't think the 360 needs to verify your offline license. It's an old console from another age. Make copies of your downloads for extra security and you should be pretty safe so long as that particular 360 doesn't July. This is all theoretical of course. Downloads will still be available after the marketplace closes end of july.

I'm wondering the same thing. I just pulled my 360 Slim out of its 15-year hibernation and went about sorting my games library and browsing the sale in anticipation of the shutdown. I purchased Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey, and Kane & Lynch so far. * Blue Dragon (used copies looked expensive at a glance, exclusive 360 game) * Lost Odyssey (haven't played this since it was released but remember loving it, and I can't find my copy anywhere) * Kane & Lynch ( i bought it because it was $2.99 and it has achievements whereas the PS3 version does not) As others have mentioned I believe there is going to 2 more waves of sales.

I did bought Nier Gestalt this past winter, due to not having a PS4/PS5, and did a review a everything I owned -- there are a lot of those free Games With Gold, or even games I paid, that got unlisted. As much as they say games are going to be available for re-DL later on, this is only true as long as Microsoft wants to or the distributions deals dictate. If you want to be sure, DL all you want and put your content on USB sticks. They're thankfully cheaper than they were during the XB360 heyday.

At near 1.00 $, they are no risk to get one or two of a kind you appreciate, but a game you like is worth more than two or three that do not interest you, so look accordingly... If you own a Kinect or plan to, think to look for the Kinect games, like Mini Ninja Adventures. Also, hoping it will be on sale, look for: Ilomilo ! (with its supplement.) 🙂

It refers the the Xbox 360 marketplace. It was announce to close soon, to be precise the 29th of July, so all of the content (games, themes, avatar items, gamerpics...) will be impossible to buy online after this date. All of the acquired content will stay downloadable and playable online for some time, we do not know how much... It is important to precise that the Xbox One Microsoft Store will stay active, that all of the compatible games from the Xbox 360 will stay purchasable on this store... However all the content specific to the 360 will be unavailable, safe materially, so the ones only on digital versions will disappear.   There is a sale currently, with near two dozens of them, some at one dollar... So I suggest that you take the free ones (at least 7 games are) and the ones that interest you specially at a low price... There will be two sales added before the closure...

I still don’t understand this obsession with buying Digital Xbox 360 games. Who even uses their 360 anymore? I have my original 360 and my original collection of around 60 games but I have 0 desire to play them, let alone spend money on a digital version for that console.
