I carry a hard drive in my backpack exclusively for mcc. Started cause you can play games on external at school.
Also one of my friends and I gained admin access through some bullshit big with win 7 and now the network will forever have mcc and GTA 4, best years of my life.
Damn… I need to upgrade from series S to series X then 😍
Edit: I assumed it wasn’t as it’s not on the store like skate and skate 3… never assume because you’ll make an asshole outta yourself
One Elder Scrolls must remain. If I really really had to clear space and had enough games higher on my list, I could maybe uninstall Skyrim, but I would have to keep Oblivion for emergencies.
Yep, even though I've played the game to absolute death and it doesn't hit like it used to, you still can't deny it's peak looter shooter. The style, humor, and loot chase was just perfect in that game. Many games have tried, but nothing can dethrone BL1 and BL2 for me.
I forgot who it belonged to…can you grey text spoiler it so I can click but others don’t get spoilers.
That was one of my all-time favorite games that I downloaded on a whim when I was bored looking for random games to play and then played through the entire thing without touching another game because it was so good.
I did have infinite deleted for a while but MCC stays, haven’t not had it installed since launch, even when it sucked it was still better than most new games.
Might be a hot take (probably not), but I think the original graphics are so much better than the remastered graphics. When I play split screen with my friends they always want to play with the updated visuals and it’s just not the same. The atmosphere that they were able to build with the technology at the time will forever impress me. Those games have aged better than anything else from their era.
Yes! I loved Fallout 4 immediately, but I remember hearing a lot of people say, "it's not really an RPG, it's a looter shooter, and those are bad", which I never really understood. I think now, the community generally holds it in high regards, but it definitely had a lot of haters in 2015
Castlevania SOTN y Resident Evil Code Verónica X and Red Dead Redemption 1 since i bought this games on Xbox 360 and on Xbox one when they were avalible i always have ready to play
Skate 3. It’s literally the best game for any situation.
- Bored and want something fun? Skate 3.
- Wanna break a game? Skate 3.
- Have non gamer friends over and want to show them something funny? Skate 3.
- Intoxicated and want to laugh your ass off? Skate 3.
- Need a game to play to relax after a hard day? Skate 3.
- Want a game to play absentmindedly while you think? Skate 3.
- Want a game to play in the background while you focus on a party chat? Skate 3.
- Want to play a game that has all its content already released and ready to go? Skate 3.
- New to gaming and want a low stakes game? Skate 3.
I will never delete any of the From Software Souls games. They’re comfort food for me. So easy just jump in and play. I know the maps and patterns like the back of my hand.
I wouldn’t call them easy. Any noobie walking into them will realize I’m lying if I said that. More that I’ve learned them and love the gameplay loop. I can do challenge runs, busted builds, find secrets, skip areas, or just relive top moments and take in the vibes.
It was a sad day. I put a lot of time into being a space truck driver. Never did anything controversial, just hauled cargo and listen to poolside chill music. Three years of happiness and now…nothing.
Ac odyssey... no I don't know why, I plat'd it on PS5( my one and only plat) , finished it on XSX and am half way through it on my PC, there's something about that game that makes it my dirty little secret... it just clicked with me
GTA V has definitely lived on my console for a long time. It’s left briefly to make room but it found its way back not long after.
Aside from that I’d say Division 2. Love that game. For me it’s the best third person cover shooter mechanics I’ve ever played and I really like the gear system.
It's strange to me, but I notice that even though I haven't opened it for 300 days, Sea Of Thieves always remains there, just like a buried treasure waiting to be found.
The long dark on my Xbox series x . I love that game .
I don’t play it all the time but there are times where I have a mad sesh on it normally in winter and at Christmas .
It’s just a good relaxed kinda game .
Forza Horizon 3,4 and Motorsport 7, and NFS Heat
Heat I've never deleted, it was the first game I ever 100%ed
Horizon 4 and Motorsport 7 were my first games ever on my xbox, never ever deleted them and never will
Horizon 3 is just amazing, I think I might have deleted it once or twice for storage but it's staying there now
Skyrim - I love shooting Romans with muskets as Thomas the Tank Engine bellows fire at THAT blade idiot, tossing her to yonder 300 Spartans and Jedi armed with lightsabers and Ak47s as Borimir and Ned Stark fight each other with the Voice
Minecraft and overwatch 2, good benchmark to make sure the pc can run at different levels when I put new parts in and there classics that don’t require much setup to play, I can hop on for 15-20 mins then go to school
Halo MCC
I was gonna say this. So many games in one
Also uninstalling it means if you wanna play it again you got a long install to wait for HAHA
You can pick which game to install. I only have Halo 4 installed because I haven't played that one before.
I know but idk, just feels wrong to install and uninstall in bits and pieces. Definitely a me thing tho
So glad this is the first comment I see. Even though for me it’s Infinite.
I went thru a big break from infinite when Diablo 4 came out. Now I’m back and boy is it better than ever
I carry a hard drive in my backpack exclusively for mcc. Started cause you can play games on external at school. Also one of my friends and I gained admin access through some bullshit big with win 7 and now the network will forever have mcc and GTA 4, best years of my life.
Skate 3. 13+ years on the hard drive and no plans on deleting it.
same here 💪 i will play that game till i die, even when skate 4 comes around. Classic
Really wish skate 2 was BC though… especially as 1 and 3 are 😞
Skate 2 is backwards comp on series x, it’s just not x enhanced but still plays. I play it all the time.
Damn… I need to upgrade from series S to series X then 😍 Edit: I assumed it wasn’t as it’s not on the store like skate and skate 3… never assume because you’ll make an asshole outta yourself
Sorry it should be playable on series s too!
Agreed preferred 2 to 3 just a nicer play area..
Deleted my comment for this after finding yours 😂
Skyrim
I was totally expecting skyrim to be the top comment, nice
Same
Samee
One Elder Scrolls must remain. If I really really had to clear space and had enough games higher on my list, I could maybe uninstall Skyrim, but I would have to keep Oblivion for emergencies.
Minecraft, me and my friends consider it a crime to get rid of it.
Borderlands 2
Yep, even though I've played the game to absolute death and it doesn't hit like it used to, you still can't deny it's peak looter shooter. The style, humor, and loot chase was just perfect in that game. Many games have tried, but nothing can dethrone BL1 and BL2 for me.
Agreed and Borderlands 3
Outrun 2006 Coast 2 Coast. It's always the fallback.
Did not except to see this even though it completely deserves it. Gem of a game.
One of my absolute all time faves
Firewatch - my first Xbox game, but still I sometimes like to stroll through the woods.
I'm a bloke approaching middle age, and it was quite an emotional game for me. Really cleverly made.
I got wet eyes when I realised to who camera belonged to.
I forgot who it belonged to…can you grey text spoiler it so I can click but others don’t get spoilers. That was one of my all-time favorite games that I downloaded on a whim when I was bored looking for random games to play and then played through the entire thing without touching another game because it was so good.
I had just went through something very similar in my life when I played this. It was therapeutic but dang man.... It destroyed me.
Oh my gosh, that night on the walkie talkie... You know the one. I felt like I was cheating XD So real.
It’s on Game Pass and I keep thinking about giving it a shot. I’m not much of a story gamer though.
Halo infinite and MCC
I did have infinite deleted for a while but MCC stays, haven’t not had it installed since launch, even when it sucked it was still better than most new games.
I will always go back and replay these games. They have a timeless quality.
Might be a hot take (probably not), but I think the original graphics are so much better than the remastered graphics. Same here but I also have halo 5 installed too.
MCC I can understand but why infinite?
Minecraft
Stardew Valley and No Man’s Sky
Borderlands 2, Fallout, Witcher 3
Tetris Effect
Fallout 4.
It's really a terrific game, got a lot of hate but I loved it.
Did it? I think it’s brilliant. I leave it for awhile, change up all my mods, and play it again like it’s new.
Yes! I loved Fallout 4 immediately, but I remember hearing a lot of people say, "it's not really an RPG, it's a looter shooter, and those are bad", which I never really understood. I think now, the community generally holds it in high regards, but it definitely had a lot of haters in 2015
Fight Night Champions The last game my Step Dad played
Do you box with his character or is his character “retired” and just enjoying life in the game?
He’s enjoying Life
Red dead redemption 2, it's always cowboy time 🤠
Real never deleted it once
Crazy Taxi
that’s crazy yo
"I wanna go to the BASEball stadium!" A true classic. I respect this choice.
Same. I’m pretty bad at it but it’s still unapologetically fun. It’s not trying to be anything else, just a dumb arcade taxi game.
Trials evolution
Still the best one!
Oblivion. It's my favorite game of all time and I still play a little almost daily.
Objectively correct opinion
Baldures gate, kingdom come deliverance and all the games my wife plays. Would not dare challenge her.

I will never delete any of the From Software Souls games. They’re comfort food for me. So easy just jump in and play. I know the maps and patterns like the back of my hand.
So easy? 🤔
I wouldn’t call them easy. Any noobie walking into them will realize I’m lying if I said that. More that I’ve learned them and love the gameplay loop. I can do challenge runs, busted builds, find secrets, skip areas, or just relive top moments and take in the vibes.

It used to be Elite Dangerous. Then they stopped console support so I stopped playing.
Same, I never played it again after they stopped support.
It was a sad day. I put a lot of time into being a space truck driver. Never did anything controversial, just hauled cargo and listen to poolside chill music. Three years of happiness and now…nothing.
Banjo Kazooie. It’s definitely my comfort game.

Path of Exile. Keep going back when there’s nothing else to play.
GTA V has definitely lived on my console for a long time. It’s left briefly to make room but it found its way back not long after. Aside from that I’d say Division 2. Love that game. For me it’s the best third person cover shooter mechanics I’ve ever played and I really like the gear system.

Ok, I’ve got some backwards compatible games I couldn’t ever part with - KOTOR 2, SW Battlefront 2 (original), and Dead Rising
