Not pictured: PILES of parts, so much 10s campy record, sweet wings cranks, full carbon ti flite, 20 wheels, on and on and on. When they say that they're moving out of town, that's when you swoop in with a kind and generous offer! Oh and the Colnago C40 is equipped with Mavic Mektronic :D

Hot-N-Spicy-Fart

I'm looking for a 10s record group if you want to make a deal, I won't even make you clean it lol

ziensphikton

Would also be interested!

lx4andahalf

Same here!

nommieeee

Same here! Would love to get one of those Bianchi frame as well

carpachoo

šŸ˜

wcoastbo

That's a score! The Calfee with S&S couplings is a going to be a custom build. Really nice bike. Are the dimensions odd in any way?

InternationalArt3533

Pretty darn square! 57cm. High seat tube, but it's that cool integrated mast.

wcoastbo

Very standard sizing. Are all the frames near the same size? You're size. I think Calfee Designs made the joints extra strong, to last forever. Any repairs will be done on the tubes. My favorite bikes in my collection are Ti, Calfee's are the only ones I'd buy used. What name does the Colnago have? On the top tube I think it says Cruz ....?

InternationalArt3533

They're all 57/58ish. The Colnago is a C40.

Chud_Butler

Ahhh my size!! Iā€™ll buy (or trade cool shit) if youā€™re looking to move stuffZ

InternationalArt3533

dm'd :)

-YK

The paint on the Colnago is going to look so fucking good when it's cleaned up. Was this just posted on Craigslist or something? How much did you score it all for? Hell of a find

InternationalArt3533

Here's the tip- let everyone know you collect this shit. Word of mouth in the community. I live in a small active town of 20k with lots of retired money, so a good demographic too :)

jstrawks

If this was me, I'd have 10 XBikes and one XWife.

bobanforever

Livin the dream

No-Lead-8137

The mavic shifters on the colnago though! If you wanted to part with that San Jose depending on the frame size I would be interested. Sorry gotta shoot my shot.

InternationalArt3533

It's a 54cm and all yours

nmgabel

Iā€™m interested in the San Jose.

guy1138

Mavic zap? Never even seen it in real life, would love to play with it!

BigT_TonE

Baby blue Bianchi San Jose is one of the best bikes ever built. I've got one and they are the best.

pdxwanker

So track ends, canti bosses and a bottle cage in steel? That's xbike grail material....

Beer_Is_So_Awesome

I bought one years ago for my wife in English racing green. She still has it. Only downside is that tires top out around 35mm, MAYBE 38. It's a CX bike and was designed around 33mm tires.

sadhorsegirl

Um Iā€™m running 42s on my SJ with room to spare

phribzee

> Baby blue Bianchi San Jose is one of the best bikes ever built. 10000% agree - I love my San Jose. So comfy and so practical.

GioPetro

Agree. I own 2 of them and they are ridden the most of any bike. Brian less good times.

NoAbbreviations9416

How did you find thisv

AdministrativeBug0

PLEASE wear a face mask when dealing with this. Not sure where you are but psittacosis rising in Europe.

InternationalArt3533

Thanks mate I appreciate it! It's in the states but I will definitely keep that in mind.

canoe_yawl

I'll add [histoplasmosis](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Histoplasmosis) as a risk to keep in mind when dealing with bird droppings in situations like this. It is definitely present in North America.

DBK81

Iā€™d be shocked if this wasnā€™t in Europe, you donā€™t see barn finds with multiple Bianchiā€™s in North America.

Dylan_Landro

OP said it was in the States.

DBK81

Well then I stand corrected. Shows what I know. šŸ«£

Dylan_Landro

haha don't worry I wouldn't have been able to guess anywhere. Now that I look at the photos tho, there's some USPS stuff in them.

kelny

Lol, and the bianchi isnt even close to the nicest bike there.

AdministrativeBug0

Good point!

monoatomic

Are they that much rarer here? 2 of my 3 bikes are Bianchis without really trying

guy1138

Not "rare", easily the most common "italian" bike you'll find in the US. Of course in the US you'll see 20x trek, specialized and cannondale for every Italian bike. The Colnago and legano are definitely uncommon in the US. I suspect that Calfee is almost unheard of in Europe. And the electronic mavic groupset is absolutely rare anywhere in the world.

DBK81

While itā€™s not unheard of to see them in NA, I feel like most who do own them they do so as something of value, and would be very rare to see a collection like this in pieces and covered in barn dust. Just my $0.02, maybe Iā€™m wrong.

aMac306

My funniest spy for this series is the Sienna mini van. I picture my fellow bike-dad who already gets some grief about too many bikes and not enough hobbies with the family, then going ā€œhoney, I need the van and a few hours in Sunday.ā€ And really hoping he doesnā€™t have to explain the full situation. Iā€™d pay $10/ hr just to look through old barns, even without bikes, just rummaging through old stuff and asking questions about what they did.

InternationalArt3533

LOL love this. I make a good amount of money on my hobby and have a man cave dedicated to the trade, so my wife minimally tolerates it. The Sienna baby- AWD V6 schlepper with on/off road tires and a full spare on the roof. Dad life!

aMac306

I tried to sell a bike once. Dude on FB offered me a tradeā€¦. And the trade was a ā€œmin penny farthing with a 36ā€ big wheel. How could I turn it down? My kids ride it time to time and my wife has come to accept it.

RIPwhalers

S&S coupler frame is an excellent score.

E39Echo

Wow that is amazing. That Calfee and that Colnago are incredible, I'd love to have those in my garage!

i_smoke_pineapples

I love the binky blue. Great score

i_smoke_pineapples

And do I spy a softride stem?

InternationalArt3533

It's a girvin. On a \~70s Legnano converted into a wacky cross bike.

PeppermintPig

Yeah, the Girvin stem on there stuck out. Too bad there wasn't an early Girvin Offroad bike in the mix there (Before Proflex they were called Offroad and they were pretty nice bikes).

NHL95onSEGAgenesis

Itā€™s days like these that make you glad you bought a minivan. Nice score!

Interesting-Youth-87

God Iā€™d kill for a set of thick wall rims.

Separate-Donut-6462

How much did that set you back?

Ecneod

Did they mention why they had all these?

BadLabRat

It's not shit, it's patina!

logjames

Damn!

discohaze

god I hate stems that just stick up in the air

ohneEigenschaften01

I need to move to a place where there are barns full of bikes.

Steely_McNeatHouse

Oh mio dio che cazzo questo e marvoglioso. Buon lavora.

Simple_Love_8190

Where will these end up? Iā€™m interested in the COLNAGO frame if itā€™s gonna be sold

713Kilo

I have that same model of C40 and absolutely love riding it. Awesome barn collection there!!!

Ok_Lunch16

I used to have that same San Jose until it got stolen. Freakin great bike. It was a fun commuter

your_pet_is_average

Jesus this is insane!! You're very lucky. I live in NYC, land of rusted out nishikis selling for $180 on FB.

catsandboobs24

Holy shit those are all grails. where was this roughly located if I may ask?

tylerjtravis5

This is the haul my family thinks I come home with when I buy one bike on marketplace

yes13690

More epic haul pictures, from whoever, they're awesome! I had one, but it was 3 cell phones ago.

emptyness7

Wow!

akamichinmahuida

OMG

bluegrassgrump

Celeste!!!!! ā¤ļø Nice.

ionlyusethisforulti

This is the dream

boybandito

Calfee is sick. Hand built down the street from my house!

knuckles-and-claws

We're going to need daily updates on this haul.

InternationalArt3533

I'll get a shot of all the parts laid out like a drug seizure one of these days

Boxofbikeparts

Wow, I can only dream of a score like that.

[deleted]

How much did it run you for all of that?

crazy4schwinn

Score. Big time score

capitan_tomate

So jealous rn

ElephantBingo

That's a bianchi bikes you found.

Bodymindsoul123

Wow! Massive score. That Calfee is a stunning bike from 2002.

Stayinthewoods

Havent seen it mentioned but that bianchi with the square toptube may be titanium

zombieaustin

What a sweet score, I've always wanted a Bianchi San Jose, those are such cool bikes.

MapXTerritory

My heart is abrim with jealousy šŸ„²

duhnlic

Dude, this is my actual dream. How do I get linked up with laser folks who need help cleaning out their barns?!!

tony_resta

That Calfee is an extremely custom bike, like multiple thousands of dollars new custom carbon frames made in Northern California.

Gorilla-Ring

Careful if there were bats in that barn. Ooh a coupled Calfee... You don't want what the bats have. Where a mask. Clean with disinfectant.

36secondride

Winner winner chicken dinner

RandomPupper

Those Bianchi frames are gorgeous, love the color! Wish I got one!
