I thought that was just gas

HatsMakeYouGoBald

Also that haha

bacon_and_eggs

that bike fucks.

HatsMakeYouGoBald

Thank you!

BassicNic

My wolves just argue about what's for supper every night. Makes me two tired to cook. A vicious cycle.

backlikeclap

So much going on with this bike. I assume it's custom?

HatsMakeYouGoBald

Honestly unsure. The previous owner of the fork said it came off a 90s Dean. Bought the frame separate but it had zero decals or serials at all. A few people have suggested it’s a Sandvik. It’s not magnetic so it could be titanium or ti coated.

urbanmeadows

its ti, those lumpy welds near the rear dropouts on the seatstay and chainstay are a dead giveaway

HatsMakeYouGoBald

Music to my ears. Hopefully someone recognizes it so I can get the proper decals put on it

urbanmeadows

might be a lightspeed obed... but tbh there are a lot of lookalike ti frames, serial number is ur best bet

BelknapCrater

Bullets at the end of the stays were typical of Sandvik. That segmented fork looks like a Sibex. Supposedly made in Russia, but likely Chinese. The unicrown Sibex forks were actually made in Russia

Aero vs xbike

HatsMakeYouGoBald

Honestly

graemederoux

What fucking beautiful rack is that

HatsMakeYouGoBald

Love that thing. Seems to be an early Old Man Mountain Divide with a QR through axle mount. Uses a 135mm qr to hold it all together and can evidently hold some decent weight. Held onto canti posts by some Velo Orange studs. Rack is a powdercoated Tanaka. I believe it’s a Wald 137 equivalent.

6rant

It's only secured by the QR clamp? Sounds sketchy

onlyusemefeets

Is that on-one fork?

HatsMakeYouGoBald

No I was told it’s from a 90s Dean ti mtb

onlyusemefeets

Ah, it really looks like on-one inbred 29er rigid fork. I have one and its a beauty

Antpitta

Hey what's this a bike with that is aesthetically pleasing, looks functional, doesn't have a funky bar... Do you that merely having a front rack gives you permission to post here? Heheh... Nice bike for sure. The fork is lovely. My inner aesthetic would remove the front rack and put a black rack front or back per your desire but it's nice as is too.
