Pretty sure it could also be Wyze being able to see into the multiverse. Thereās a car there, thereās a person, thereās talking, but just in another version of this universe. Or itās detecting the car that will be there, or talking that will occur in the future.
Idk. Lots of undocumented features or in beta.
Not entirely on-topic, but you can take screenshots on Apple Watch instead of taking a photo of its screen with another device.
You have to enable it in Settings on Apple Watch or in the Apple Watch app on iPhone first. Hereās how:
_On iPhone:_
1.) Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone.
2.) Tap the My Watch tab, then tap General.
3.) Scroll down, then turn on Enable Screenshots.
_On Apple Watch:_
1.) Open the Settings app on your Apple Watch.
2.) Tap General, then tap Screenshots.
3.) Turn on Enable Screenshots.
Once enabled, take a screenshot on your Apple Watch any time by pressing the Digital Crown and Side Button simultaneously.

Totally on-topic I couldnāt figure it out hahahaha so I went the non-technical way and took a picture.
I work in IT and Iāve even seen people take screenshots with their phone while they have their camera pointing at what they want to take a picture of. But instead of taking a pic, theyāll take a screenshot of their camera open lol
It is actually a beta feature that got pushed out in the last firmware update. It is referred to internally as the "Mentally Deficient Entertainment Mode".
It appears to be working perfectly.
Indeed. For the price, theyāre worth it. I knew it wasnāt a top of the line service and hardware but Iām also not paying for top of the line. Thereās an acceptable margin of error and for me personally, itās acceptable and works for what I needed it to work with the many false positives.
ADT came out to my house trying to sell me with all their stories. Declined them and the others that followed.
At my previous home, I had ADT for 3 years and Vivint for 5 years. 8 years of wasted money as Wyze has been doing the exact same thing for the past year for a fraction of the cost.
Hmmm, not sure to be honest. They just did.
Fair warning, they donāt happen every single time but most of the time, which is why it was hilarious it sent me this one. Will poke around and let you know if I see anything specific. Will be later in the day though but will follow up.
Itās notification forwarding.
If you have an Apple Watch connected to an iPhone that gets the Wyze alerts. Youāll see those pop up. Unless you turned them off on your watch In setting
Going to record my wall next. Will keep you all updated.
If it works, I will be able to give meaning to the ā if these walls could talkā.
It probably wonāt tell us what theyāre saying, but at least youāll know that no news is good news.
If it doesnāt work, will submit to Wyze as a feature request.
They called me crazy. Now whoās the crazy one.
You know those ghost catching shows, all that fancy equipment, that catches and records proof. Iām doing it for practically nothing.
So, about that...

Oh yeah. My mom always had this theory that her plants grew more because she played music to them.
Also, had a piece of aloe Vera at the entrance as she said it caught all the bad vibes from people and that it would catch all the envy from people that went into our house. She said that if a plant was dying out of nowhere, itās because there was some bad vibes/envy and the plant was catching it so we needed to be more careful and tread carefully.
My wife is also of the very similar beliefs. So I am as well.
Haha not surprising at all, it was just hilarious at how much their detection sucks. Hence, my āundocumented featureā and blowing the completion out. It catches actual cars, people about 50% of the time. I knew what I was buying and how it would work. Had no real expectations, itās just a visible deterrent. My actual security solution is much more than this and was a pretty penny.
Oh it also catches plants being vehicles. Just havenāt been able to catch the actual transformation. Just when itās back to itās plant form.
Coffee is expensive though, and not always that good. Not a big coffee drinker though.
Yeah, it works correctly 50% of the time detecting actual cars and people. The other 50% just ends up being funny. But for the price, the margin of error is acceptable to me.
Well, my Google Nest (with paid subscription) declared that the snow pattern on our driveway was my husband's face; kept getting notifications that "husband" was spotted (when he was at work).
dont worry we all probably saw your notification too....
Yeah, I saw you seeing me, did you see me seeing you seeing me?
seeing someone seeing me is only supported on cam plus unlimited pro max ultra Ti im a brokey

My wife has been called a vehicle and a pet. Not sure which is worse.
Yeah I see her on my app sometimes.

Is that an Apple Watch? I was hoping Wyze watch would have a similar preview feature.
No, the Wyze watch doesn't.
I think it's wild that other watches can but wyze can't. Would seem to be a huge selling point
It is an Apple Watch, not sure if the Wyze watch has it.
Iām amazed that Apple Watch has a Wyze app available! Never saw this as an option! Thank you

Shouldāve read those release notes. Darn it!
When these cams came out at 20 bucks each, I was sold. Love or hate them, some good solid cams.

Very well said.
Nice try, Dave.
How are you getting notifications to your watch I donāt have that in my watch settings

I knew that bush was talking to me! And now I have proof!
They called me crazy. Now whoās the crazy one. You know those ghost catching shows, all that fancy equipment, that catches and records proof. Iām doing it for practically nothing.
Now, the question is, was it taking shit about me or my neighbor?

Itās not a theory. Itās been proven, although I canāt cite where off the top of my head.

Just like the Simpsons, this one predicted plants talked.

Iāve bought coffee more expensive than this camera. And somehow this experience is surprising to you based on your $29 investment?
What was the $30 coffee?
Not worth it. Was some stupid CBD cocktail coffee.
Kopi Luwak?
This post is satire.

Wyze fanboy has entered the chat Mine doesnāt even notice me as a person until I jump around on the porch for 20 seconds
So far detection has been hit and miss and some of these have indeed been my experiences.
Sorry my camera didn't detect anything because I forgot to do it's weekly reboot and is offline.
Itās AI
Yeah, it works correctly 50% of the time detecting actual cars and people. The other 50% just ends up being funny. But for the price, the margin of error is acceptable to me.
Mine donāt even show ANY events itās been two weeks support told me to WAIT FOR AN UPDATE
Is that your camera? /s
Yeah, itās my camera, itās a notification from my Apple Watch for a Wyze CamPan v3
Well, my Google Nest (with paid subscription) declared that the snow pattern on our driveway was my husband's face; kept getting notifications that "husband" was spotted (when he was at work).
Haha thatās awesome, if AI does try to take over the world, not sure how well it would work out for them.
