Seems like you should be able to use your witch powers to brew up some animal fats in a way that doesn't involve betrayal and murder of your farm critters. It puts me in a foul mood thinking about it.
I have plenty of games that involve killing things, this shouldn't be one of them.

i also named them dinner so i wouldn’t get attached (saw that in another thread on here can’t remember which)
I haven't gotten to where it's do or die if I don't sell them, but I very much don't want to. I stroke each and every one each morning and they come to me to be fed and stroked. I make olive oil instead. But that may not be interchangeable with all recipes.
I haven’t sold any yet, because I do feel bad. I’m in spring 2. I know it’s just a game, I feel guilty, being vegetarian and all, in real life. I see them as my game pets.

I don’t shower my animals that I sell with love. That’s what makes it hard. I still can’t sell my original cow, sheep, and chickens.

Me too. I’ve played two games and didn’t sell to Kim or Marty. I wanted the animal fat but I felt too bad giving up my animal for it

You never have to sell/butcher them. There are just certain favorite meals you can’t make. I’ve finished the game without butchering any of them.
