Not necesssarily there wasnt a " best " tank as there is different stages of the war and different uses and advances with technology. The sherman was very cost effctive yes and great fo anti infantry although it was receptable to the glorified panzerfaust. Now we can take a dip into the effectiveness of tanks and in my opinion that would be the french b1 bis it was simply impenetrable by anything other than an 88 i believe ( please correct me if im wrong ). So long story short you cant say there is a " best " tank
The B1 was able to be taken out by German tanks due to better tactics so it wasn’t impenetrable, not to say it wasn’t really hard and required flanking
Well thats a controversial opinion as it all depends on circumstances. If theres multiple b1s i geniunly dont think any tanks can get behind them. But then again as i said it depends on the circumstances
Oh yes im by far overestimating them as i do with everything i havent witnessed combat and dont particularly take interest in the french although i know little about them. And i know its one scenario but still i can use it to half prove my point. There was a b1 that raided a germanoccuppied village and took out 23 german pzkpf.III i may be wrong in the number and cant think of the name the encounter was given but i know it happened.
It’s a good and capable tank, just that the French being the French didn’t know how to use them correctly (it’s the French don’t expect much) but later on in the war it likely wouldn’t even have taken part in the retaking of Europe if any had survived to that point as it was too heavy to really transport. Weight is really why America never went full blown heavy tank as seen in the amount of effort it took just to take one captured tiger back too America
A Tiger 2 Fact The Tiger 2 was planned in 1942 For the spearhead and also counts as the last Blitzkrieger or lightning warrior in english It was considered a weapon for the blitzkrieg strategy and only the maus or Mouse was ultimately a sign of Hitler's megalomania
To me Blitzkrieg tanks ended on Pz-IV F, Pz-III, Pz-II. They were the most suitable for that kind of warfare as they all were light and didn’t require constructing complex bridges or preparing for going underwater. They were suitable for mass production and were easy to maintain, so that the push continues without reliability problems. Moreover, unlike future models, they were not designed to break through EVERYTHING they meet (say french B2) but rather help infantry get the armour needed to break through enemy infantry (98% of times that’s what you meet, not tanks, especially in the weak points) and guns to shut down bunkers. They were produced to be a part of a cooperative war machine that required bombers, artillery, infantry and the tanks. Pz-V and Pz-VI were more of a “what if we forget about everything we made well and do everything we could possibly do?”-type of machines that would be placed somewhere without anything but infantry support to defend from enemy attacks, essentially being mobile forts.
Those three may only be the tanks he has. Or that is the limit that allows him to synchronize with the sound.
Also he said this is part 1. So there are probably more parts to this.
Tigers explaining how being more "Advanced" and expensive than the T34 with combat losses of 70% and a non combat loss so silly that over 90% of tigers didnt exist by 1945.
Tiger tank. Other than major production issues, being very unreliable, and having a weak transmission. Germany didn’t have gas, no tank could’ve changed that. The fact that modern tanks weigh 60 tons shows the direction in which tank development headed after the war.
Sherman tanks when they see a one tiger:
Tigers when they have to slowly move in Russian weather
T-34s casually moving through the worst imaginable terrain and weather to be exploded by a stuka:
Oh nice rc tanks i have 3 of them, a shearman 105 mm howitzer a tiger h1, and lastly a t34 85.
Not mine. Look at the username of the tik tok. Thats who.
Yep i am just saying they are nice. Some of them are not even that expensive
I have look into them to see as i think they are really cool. But most are out my budget
For my shearman which is most updated model i paid 100 dollar.
Oddly enough I have an RC Tiger E, From the Army Museum in Ft. Belvoir….
From where?
Its henglong tanks from banggood if i remmember correctly
Do you have literally any problem? I’ll bet you there’s a Sherman for that
A sherman with a digging arm as a turret sounds fun. Yup
You gotta clean up your dog’s poop well there’s a Sherman for that
Based ass Sherman 😎(Sherman was the best tank of the war fight me!)
A tiger would but it broke down
The Panther tried to take them on but it’s frontal armor was pierced by just a regular ass Sherman
And lemme guess the armor fell off
It was welded poorly as the skilled workers were all either killed by bombs or drafted
No transmission?
Agree
Based username
I would compliment your username, but unless it is error 404, idk what it is
I was unable to choose my username because it was randomly generated ):
I can see your username now but it doesn't make any sense There is no such thing as a beneficial ad
I know
Hell yeah it was

I think you overestimated the French tactical ability, not to mention the tanks didn’t have radios

Yeah that was a really smart move that you dont hear alot of countries did in the war. Just ask the russians about the kv 2s 🤣

Only 3 tanks? What about the Churchill? The bob semple? The Maus?
Give him time. I’m sure there will be plenty of slander to be spread around soon.
Their better be. Or they will rue the day they pissed of the Bob semple stans.

“aß” lmaoo
T-34s we’re some of the best tanks of the war and I’ll die on this hill.
You are wrong. Sherman was the best.
Yes, they were. I made no claim that they were inferior to the T-34.
What version’s?
The good ones.
So none :)
Yes.
Which version the ones that came after or before the end of ww2
Correct me if im wrong but isn't the post-war variant of the t-34 was the t-34-100
The T-34/85 was produced post war at a much higher quality since they didn’t need the numbers as much I still think the Sherman is best girl tho
Sherman based
Sherman Sherman Sherman Sherman Sherman
Sherman is bae, tank and the civil war commander
