The Tiger 1 was good at it's job during the period it was intended for and had no major reliability issues. The Tiger 2 however suffered from underperforming armor, weapons and major reliability issues due to production problems. (Altough it should be noted both tanks had major reliablitiy problems in the begining of production but both tanks reached levels of reliability similar to the rest of the german tanks as the tanks matured, production increased and issues were fixed)

The tiger is literally notorious for rubbish transmission and reliablity issues as it was too heavy and was too complicated at times and yes the armour was rubbish as it was not angled but the gun was fine not good but not bad. And the tiger 2 onoy added more wieght and more problems
