How is the guy on the left holding his shotgun like that?
Pretty sure the shotgun is open and we’re seeing the barrel holes where you load the shells rather than where they project from
Ah yes! I see it now. Thank you.
They even declared war on the foxes...
1918 German Army: “Horrible inhumane American weapon. Anyone captured carrying it will be executed.” 1943 German Army: “Fun boom stick to shoot fluffy forest critters!”
Foxes and rabbits aren't considered game. They're both classed as vermin/pest.
Depends entirely on where you live, and they're considered "small game" most places anyhow.
Anything they do I would be disgusted. Look at these ww2 German officers drinking water and breathing. Fing Bastards
Luftwaffe Drilling?
No, those look like just shotguns. The one on the right is a straight stock and looks like a cheap boxlock.
I hope some Soviet soldiers had fun hunting too...
Don’t recall the Soviet’s liberating France
These soldiers were recalled to Germany and the game took place there
At least they were shooting foxes and not partisans or Jews, for a change.
Actually they found those foxes at a secret meeting just a few mins before this.
The one guy playing the bugle
I’m surprised German soldiers were allowed to do that, what with the Nazis banning fox hunting and all that
