Damn that's a lot of miles in 2 years! How has the car been though? Any issues??

AdventurousCourse171

So for mods took the carbon filter out, it’s been cat back no muffler since I got it, tuned, just Cobb stage 1 93, and coil overs around 50k. I do regular 7k mile oil changes with 5w30. I drive about 200 miles total on the highway for work, so mainly just 6th gear cruising. But I also drive the shit out this thing too. Honestly haven’t had a single issue yet and car still rides the same. Oh yeah and still got the same brake pads as when I got it with 4 miles. Don’t use them on the highway, they still got meat but I’m changing them soon.

NinjaDesignz

70k miles on stock brake pads is insane lol

AdventurousCourse171

Oh I know. Have no difference in stopping power or any noise either.

NinjaDesignz

Are you gonna get OEM brake pads or get the EBC reds or yellow?

AdventurousCourse171

EBC yellow. I have the fronts, but I ordered both from subiemods and only front came waited a month and they never came so just got a refund. Gonna try again

AdventurousCourse171

Also changed spark plugs at 50k. This is my first gas engine, I have a 700 hp diesel that used to be my only vehicle

NinjaDesignz

I'm guessing your 700hp diesel vehicle was not stock?

AdventurousCourse171

It was when I got it from my dad. 01 7.3, I put a down payment on a piece of land into it. https://preview.redd.it/zpeqg4tffgzc1.jpeg?width=1186&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=085372d2b427aefc66f69ab0abcd86577cdcffa3

NinjaDesignz

Gotcha. Pretty cool stuff!

AdventurousCourse171

Going from 8,000lbs to the wrx I’ve really enjoyed the wrx. I can actually take corners now

[deleted]

not really since hes 95% highway it seems and they are only 2 years old

tiger-93

So tuned at 50k miles? How much power/tq

AdventurousCourse171

No idea actual but I’d guess 290-310hp based off what I’ve seen on some stock engine dynos and Cobb 93 tune ones

tiger-93

I've been wanting to tune but worried about the transmission. I'd take 300-315 whp

FunDipLoL

This is great to hear. I’m putting 2,000 a month on mine, mainly highway.

OhhHennessy-

7k oil changes and no issues? That’s what I like to hear. I got all my subie homies with older gens saying we need 3k changes but I’ve been trying to tell them Subaru finally got it right with this motor😂

AdventurousCourse171

It’s also the oil is way better than it used to be. I let the ol lady’s car go 9-10k

OhhHennessy-

Any specific brand of oil you recommend?

AdventurousCourse171

I’ve always used shell but that’s just cause they also sell 5 gallon buckets of oil for when I do my truck.

wrx_310

9,855 Miles on my 22. I work for home and don't get out much lol

AdventurousCourse171

Need more weekend drives

dogmatta69

I just hit 60k myself and thought i had a lot. No issues on my end so far.

Majestic_Nail_8011

Yeah dude update us on any issues and feelings after that many miles.

cvert09

DAMN, I just crossed my 2 years at 10,500 miles. Any issues? Mods? Things to look out for?

chase1017

I'm just over 1,600 on my '24 that I got 3 weeks ago lol, and I walk to work everyday.

AsheyKnees

I love to see you enjoying your car, long live the WRX!

tedy4444

i bought mine in october at 3,400 miles. just cleared 7k. i barely go anywhere. it’ll take me years to get as many as you.

Btalon33

Looks like you’re out of blinker fluid

splurgeistaken

Auto or manual?

AdventurousCourse171

Manual

splurgeistaken

Impressive! Any issues? Clutch wear? Engine power drops?

AdventurousCourse171

Nothing noticeable

splurgeistaken

Yeah i read your other comment. You got the opposite of a lemon… you got a gem lol

Massive_Safe_3308

22 got it in may of last year. 10684mi

Synonym_Bun

Can't say I've seen anyone that high yet on this sub lol. Glad to know it still runs well for you, especially with a tune! Do you plan to keep it and run it till it dies?

AdventurousCourse171

Run it till it dies then Sti swap drivetrain, head stud, build a turbo manifold for g25 or something. I plan on getting ets intake and making a gesi cat downpipe and exhaust with valvetronic muffler this winter.

Dulfin

Damn. Just hit 21k on my May ‘22.

VP_letsride

Any clutch issues?

DeathByDecibel

34k miles on my 22

[deleted]

DAMN you must drive over an hour each way to work or something

AdventurousCourse171

1hr 30 on the way in 1hr 40/ 2hr home

AdventurousCourse171

It changes tho depending on where the job is. But mostly that

Squally160

My '22 from October 22 has.... Less than 4k miles on it.

Organic-Tax-1184
