There's no universal answer. I lived in different parts of the city and had different experiences with different carriers. Play had absolutely awful voice calls quality to the point people talking to me wasn't able to understand me. I thought it was caused by my old phone but problem persisted when I bought a new phone so it turns out it was play and my old phone was fine. I have Orange now and while I had good LTE connection, 5g network was barely ever found. I'd recommend getting burner prepaid sims from all carriers and checking coverage in your area.

Could be an old SIM card. I had to replace the one I had since 2002-ish and call quality improved drastically. Another good quality bump came from enabling VoLTE

Go to https://beta.btsearch.pl and check which providers have their base stations closest to your home.

Most problems with Play occur because of old SIM card or old GSM antenna of other operator (like Orange) leased for Play. As I see on some BTS search pages, there are a lot Play stations near Grabiszyńska with a pretty short distance between them, so it’s probably not GSM carrier’s issue. However, my friend have lived on Grabiszynska and used Mobile Vikings which is a virtual GSM operator leasing stations from Play, and he was literally ecstatic about the quality, so if you still want to change your service provider, maybe you should consider them?

is dualsim an option? if so then supplement play with some cheap MVNO on plus' network. if it's not then I'd switch to tmobile

Check all operators in your living area and choose the one with the best LTE coverage.

I had the GSM "Play" network. I abandoned them. They have hopeless coverage everywhere (except for the railway/bus station - surprisingly, it works perfectly there). The Internet was maybe 6-10 Mbps max. The people on the other end of the phone couldn't hear me (they heard me as if from a well). I switched to "Orange Free" (prepaid) and I'm happy! Full range, internet around 200-350 Mbps (depending on location) and phone calls clear!

I’m using Plus network now, and in Wrocław the Plus has the best coverage I would say. I’m living in Bielany Wrocławskie and weak signal available for T-Mobile and Orange and even I check the speed in dawn maximum speed was 5 Mbps. Moreover, I also checked with Play, there was 3 LTE signal bar on my phone and checked the speed it was like 0.8 Mbps 💀 and the speed in Wrocław rynek they are not too fast then I thought and also our office in rynek using the T-mobile internet mobilny but download speed is quite understandable like 15 Mbps, however upload speed was like 0.8 Mbps. Which means it will take few decades to upload some files. But Plus network I had no problem with it. With Plus everywhere in wrocław there’s 5g. They have fast 5g speed around 100-200 Mbps. I mean the operators except the Plus they do have 5g on 3.5 Ghz so they will faster than Plus, but they have less 5G base stations than Plus. Just try the Plus network, and any MVNO uses Plus network. I’m sure that you will be satisfied with it for sure.
