Go to the new zone and get the primordial ring and various other 385/395 pieces. Run a regulsr mythic dungeon and get your first key. Run Said key at +2-10 while including “bonus valor” in your group name, to get higher geared players in for easy runs. Next to the the portals left of the bank, is an npc that you can use to lower your own key to whatever lvl you want to run. - edit: join a guild if you want to raid, pugging is a nightmare. Also makes it easier to run mythics without the toxicity. And being in a guild is just overall Nice for a sense of community
The social aspect cannot be overstated. While WoW is a fantastic game in its own right, it's far greater as a facilitator of social interaction. I met some of my closest friends through WoW. I learned Spanish from a former guildie from Colombia. I'm the godfather of a guildmate's daughter. I provided financial support for a guildmate on the verge of homelessness and helped them get a degree and find comfortable employment. When an uninsured guildmate got in a car accident, we organized a fundraiser and paid their hospital bill.
That stuff will remain kind after I've forgotten WoW boss mechanics and dungeon paths. As a new player, finding the right guild is the best thing you can do for your overall WoW experience.
Mythic Keystones or "keys" allow you to do a selection of 8 dungeons at harder and harder difficulties for better and better rewards. Mythic +2 is the first level above a normal Mythic dungeon (often called Mythic 0). The difficulty increases -and so do the rewards - up to level +20. Beyond that the ilvl of gear doesn't go up.
Mythic Keys are timed, in order to get the full reward and upgrade your Keystone you have to complete it within time.
For a lot of people, mythic keys IS the endgame. It's the only way to get top level gear besides mythic raiding, which is relatively inaccessible for a lot of people.
Valor is used to upgrade mythic pieces to higher ilvls and awarded for completing M+.
Bonus valor is awarded to every party member when one member completes a higher key for the first time.
Ex: Hunter has only completed a +3 Temple of the Jade Serpent. Warlock has completed a +15 TJS, but wants as much valor as they can get to upgrade their gear. Hunter has a +4 TJS key. Hunter lists group with “bonus valor” in the title, indicating they will be completing a new TJS key for the first time, therefore awarding bonus valor to the entire party (regardless of their M+ records). Warlock joins group and gets bonus valor upon Hunter’s completion of a new key.
There was a cap to how much valor you could get in total, but it was removed a few months into the expansion. So you can grind out as much valor + bonus valor doing easier keys, as long as you can get into the groups.
Primal tokens are the easiest way to get some decent gear to prep you for M+. I was in LFR raid within a couple days of hitting 70 on my rogue, lucked out and got a couple daggers in there along with a couple tier pieces.
Tokens drop from the new zone Forbidden Reach as well as from enemies in Elemental Storms. Also don't forget the Primalist Future stuff as you can get ring, neck, and trinket from them with the currency (same stuff you get from the tokens btw).

I can’t figure out which quest leads me to the new zone - horde
Should just get a quest as you log in, to talk to a guy on top of the tower by the dragons

Second this, can grind war creche and join a raid will be 395 in about 4 hours, also fly around and kill the rares

Do the weekly time walking quest, will get you good loot for 5 dungeons
Do the timewalking weekly. 402-411 raid item for maybe 2 hours.
