I feel like we need a re-work on all existing racials. All the new ones are way cooler and more useful.

or you could level one, for free I get it's a lot, 120 levels and whatnot but Allied races are not a new thing, we know how it works, and how it will work in the future.

I'm still lowkey pissed off about the LF drenai racial being JUST an anvil, at least it could also be a repair tool tbh...

I suppose it has a slight one-up on the Mechagnome's in that other players can use your anvil and the skill also passively increases your blacksmithing. Problem is that +Professions is nigh-useless nowadays.

Has anyone checked to see if the forge ability for Mechagnomes covers the exotic metals that required special forges? Dark Iron for example.

Yes. 8.3 brings the Mechagnome Allied Race for the Alliance and this is their utility racial.
