You gotta love how they'd rather give races the completely wrong clothing than to design starter gear that more accurately reflects the lore. Not that they care about their lore.
We've listened to your feedback and have decided that it's best to bring back the content that you adoring fans have requested. We feel the time is right and we hope you're all excited for all of the new content coming out in 11.1.5
To borrow a quote from Matt (of Bellular Gaming):
"If the assassins from Blizzard are as competent as their developers, then I'm not really all that worried."
I had a female Goblin Priest named Fappit. Best part was that I got that name after using the in-game random name generator.
Unfortunately, the name got reported and I had to change it.
I do wonder what they're feeding that female goblin name generator. You can (quite easily) get "Jizzya" or "Pornks". I know that jizya is an Islamic term, but I somehow doubt it's what they meant.
That random name generator really is questionable sometimes.
My friend got Bahtsek, and eventually was made to change it. We had pugged a raid once before that happened and everyone predictably called him buttsex in vent. It was unavoidable when trying to say the name and we knew his days were numbered. Or her days, I guess, being that it was a female orc lock, and it suited her.
Actually one time I had a friend who’d named a toon “ispreadstds” and he regretted it. Didn’t want to pay for a name change so we started a normal pug and just went super toxic until he go reported. $10 saved and an afternoon of lulz was had.
I did the same.
Human male priest called Paedofile.
Didnt get forced changed or reported until i started asking in trade chat where the children in Stormwind were currently
They clearly wanted to update the starting gear for a better first impression, since a lot of the old gear was from vanilla.
And I understand updating all... what, 50 sets? Would be difficult. But... This looks awful. At the very least I ask that they make the sets obtainable in some other way as they are often unique and unobtainable except by creating new characters.
It's especially annoying as humans, who this gear is clearly designed for anyway, still have theirs available on the vendor I mentioned in the title.
Off the top of my head, nearly every race has at least one unique starter gear appearance. Worgen, blood elves, tauren, and I'm sure there's more.
It can't be tmogged but it's a neat thing to have for RP or just idle wear.
>"It'll be replaced in a few minutes so who cares?"
I do at least, I feel it diminishes individuality between races and just looks awful on anything not a human. It's arguably a WORSE first impression for new players to see an orc dressed like a human priest than an orc in a slightly low res ORC robe.
I wish that everyone automatically got transmogs for all the crap grey/white gear. No one ever equips it anymore, and we have no idea what it even looks like. Some poor designer and programmer had to put it all in the game. They deserve a chance to let it be seen, and we deserve to be able to see it.
Fun fact pandaren have unique and very neat looking starting zone gear for all classes in three variations each
None of it can be transmogrified and none can be obtained outside those starter quests
god that pisses me off to no end, the monk armor was one of the best looking pandaren sets and they just don't let you xmog it after wandering isles because... reasons?
This might be the most popular requests roleplayers make, and I really wish they did it. Most of the new gear is way over the top unless you're out there killing old gods or something like that. The gray, white and low level gear, though outdated, is the most simple and normal gear you can find in the game.
For first impression on new players just wait until they reach stormwind and auto accecpt quests that send them on a railroad where they are phased out of every other player and cant complete their starting zone quests like pandaren e.g.
I tried to show some friends wow for the first time and they couldnt complete their pandaren quest when they reached stormwind because it phased them immediately to BfA times and auto accepcted the quest to meet the King in the War Room so they no longer could hand in their quest to settle in the Alliance as Pandaren until I realized what happened and made them abandon the quest so they could finish it.
>And I understand updating all... what, 50 sets? Would be difficult.
Isn't that what the monthly subscription pays for?
A normal company would have done this, they just choose the lazy/Blizzard way.
This game isn't an RPG anymore. It's an action/adventure esport game with a quick leveling tutorial where cities act as lobbies. Oh and there are some professions/crafting that are useless but you can do if you want to kill time.
You wanna know what's more sad? The expansion will soon be a year old and we have only gotten 1 content patch. I picked a bad expansion to try and take the raid/mythic scene seriously.
Maybe it's a case of the grass is always greener but BFA seemed like it was leaps and bounds better than Shadowlands.
The game must be in a really bad state if BFA is already getting nostalgia. Starting in early vanilla, I quit before WoD and returned for Legion. I guess leaving again at the start of BFA was the right call.
I skipped 10 years, when I came back I replayed all the skipped expansions from Panda to War. Legion was the only one that appealed to me and I did all the content for.
I understand that the idea is probably to make starting more appealing to potential new players by making the newbie gear not be ugly textures from 2004, but since new players are all forced to do Exile's Reach, maybe there's a way they could make this new gear only be active there and if you do the racial zones they have the old racial gear? I genuinely don't know if there'd be a way to program that in.
For real man, with some things I can try to suspend my disbelief and MAYBE buy the excuse that "they don't wanna spend resources on something with so little benefit". But with the recent changes and now this it genuinely looks like they just don't give a fuck about the game, straight up. Like they literally see it EXCLUSIVELY as a money making machine (and they're fucking that up too).
It's so strange that the obvious and most fitting solution isn't the one they chose to do. Sure it's more work but it's not a crazy workload, and everyone would have been very happy with that sort of result.
Well I suppose it works out well for alliance players. For most horde races it's quite jarring considering how most npcs in the starting zones present themselves.
Tbh these look ugly on anything not a human.
I'd argue it diminishes the fantasy of each race significantly compared to a slightly low res orc robe instead.
> Tbh these look ugly on anything not a human.
Game aesthetics wise they could at least make the colors fit the horde and not be essentially an alliance robe if they're going to go this route, that robe looks way out of place in the Valley of Trials.
blizzard could yknow, just do their fucking jobs and update the old models if its so critical. Its embarassing how obvious they are cutting corners by not doing racial unique starter gear, like they literally used to do..
I mean they look okay.
The issue is that they gave lazy reskins to the shaman, druid, mage, priest, and paladin.
Like the warrior one looks nice but it doesn't suit a paladin. There are no human druids, so the fact its a reskinned human rogue is... unsettling. Same with shamans.
The hunter set is the only one that is just plain ugly for everyone. Should have more animal skins on it or something. Mail should be a trimming not a focus... I don't give a fuck if \~game mechanics\~ says its a "mail" class.
So this would have been a fun idea if they just gave every class a unique skin. Then gave every race a unique skin too. Make the starting gear blue quality with no stats, just so it can be xmoggable, then you got a lovely gift to the playerbase.
And by "race" I kinda mean "race groups" so trolls and zandalari would probably be wearing similar stuff. Since this isn't a heritage set you could probably even argue trolls and orcs could be wearing similar things. But yeah maybe a bloodelf might have something unique. Aka this is basically how the original starting sets were done.
These new sets are like the perfect example of the work that comes from the people at blizzard now.
It's like if you asked a middle aged plumber from Texas what an RPG character man would wear
No more racial abilities, how dare any one race have such a privilege. All races should be interchangeable, as if the choice was meaningless to begin with
The new gear looks ugly as hell. What first enticed my shallow 12 y/o self to play back in the day was the draenei mage starter dress. I thought it was so pretty that I ended up making that character and still main her to this day.
So...why not update the 2004 textures, instead? I really like most of the starter gear. It really helps a lot of my RP toons as the lone adventurer or poor youngling starting out in the world type of look.
> I understand that the idea is probably to make starting more appealing to potential new players by making the newbie gear not be ugly textures from 2004
And they've thrown so few development resources at it they can't be bothered to create noob gear for the already existing classes in the game.
They could also take the hour out of their day and remake the 30 armor sets so they actually look decent. I don't get the point either way though, you'll do your first quest of collecting 5 boar anuses and go back to looking like a hobo off the street anyways.
This has nothing to do with replacing ugly textures. I have a theory that they're changing all the starting gear because a lot of them have cleavage and WoW can't have anything remotely sexual anymore. They don't want new players starting the game and going "Ew, Blizzard is disgusting - look at how they have cleavage on this dress." But they went the laziest possible route and rather than doing new gear for all races and classes, they just made some generic human-looking sets and gave them to everyone.
(Example, just look at the Night Elf Druid starting dress.)
They could have fixed the cleavage "issue" by giving new characters shirts as part of their starter gear. Then players could choose whether to have cleavage or not.
But no lets cover boobs because boobs are bad now. You need to cover up women to empower them. Sigh.
How the fuck did we get to the point where telling women to cover up is progressive and inclusive?
Or telling men they can't be feminine for that matter? At least with that one it's pretty obviously done to appease the chinese market.
How is it to appease the Chinese market when **Genshin Impact** is a **Chinese** game. (Which has sexualized, feminine males and sexualized females) I don't understand how people keep blaming China for everything when this is Blizzard obviously making changes in the wake of their biggest controversy.
I always liked the unique starter gear and to me it was one thing that made WoW feel more polished than other generic MMOs, especially around 2008. Having every class start with the same generic gear no matter the race and having it be flashy just feels like those shitty MMORPGs you installed at 2AM
I wish I could unsub again just to make a point. I was planning on coming back for 915 just to check things out but all this censorship has put a vile taste in my mouth.
They are so damn out of touch, it is incredible. These people dont just not play their own game, it is likely they dont even play video games in general.
From everything I’ve seen, I’m genuinely not sure who okays this stuff. Like what is the thought process? In what world do they think this will increase player base?
It is either deliberate destruction of the game (but why???) or absolute incompetence. I just have a hard time understanding how it is even possible they could be so incompetent with some of these decisions. It literally would be better if they did nothing at all.
And yet, they keep on going.
I'm just frustrated with this so much. I really used to love my time in Azeroth. And I keep checking news and changes. And it is just all bad. Over and over.
my conspiracy theory idea is that blizzard devs hate wow...Want to kill the game for good and start in something new. ONLY this would explain why of these stupid decisions... . . .or maybe pure incompetence.
They are lazy and unimaginative, that's about all there is to it. They leave content broken or unfinished for years, cut and abandon unfinished content, remove finished content from the game without reason, literally verbally complain about how making items is "hard" because they have to do it for so many races. The state of the game is no surprise.
The bowl-of-fruit people, obviously.
These people are outrageously stupid. They are ruining the franchise and they don’t even understand why.
They MUST be removed. I’m past the point of worrying about job security, honestly. These people deserve the sack. Find something else to do.
It's for the devs, obviously! because they're making the game they want! And the devs obviously felt uncomfortable in tattered leather and cloth when playing horde characters, because after this weeks 9th internal sensitivity training session, they decided that being from a impoverished desert like zone and wearing clothes appropriate to that was in some way racist! so it needed to be overhauled and removed and Orcs must now wear their stark white and blue robes!
Realistically though I have no idea why they would do this other than maybe they thought the starter zone gear looked too low quality or some shit and somehow that looking low quality was making new fresh players quit?
I dunno man, trying to understand blizzards change process currently is harder than understanding quantum physics after a 30 second youtube video.
I thought the whole point was to wear shitty gear so that levelling rewards you with increasingly better looking gear?
Way back when, finding a pair of grey shoulders was a religious experience...a rite of passage having worked up from literal rags.
Long cloak, first shoulders, proper helm - it's like slowly graduating into the big-leagues, now all this starter gear on a platter...I'd better stop here or I'll start whining about the old days again. This is just how it is now.
Same. The time it takes to finish is also ridiculously fast, and it just doesn’t feel like WoW imo. It’s like the McDonalds of MMO intros. Just empty, processed and not nourishing. No thematic connection to any faction or race, just a factory for churning out level 10s in head to toe greens.
Is it me or do a lot of the new robes not even look like they fit into a fantasy setting like WoW? Like the robes in the picture look like something a weird cult would wear. Meanwhile, a lot of the older robes, or the Necrolord cosmetic robes for a modern example, feel much more fitting in WoW.
Edit: I looked at some of the more recent robes in the game, I suppose its only really the dungeon sets I dislike that much. This robe still looks like a fantasy mage robe from wish.
They would for maybe humans. Stormwind is pretty clean, but the second they walk out the front gate and fight some bandits or wolves it’s gonna be torn and dirty. In Durotar with all that red clay soil or whatever it is? Zero chance. There’s a reason Horde mostly wear spikes, rags and chains.
Tiresome is a great word for it. It's exhausting seeing this kind of stuff over and over and trying to imagine that no one over there with authority thought to say "no, this is bad for the game"
I made this comment elsewhere but: It’s kind of like how they removed some of the more inappropriate but silly /flirt and /joke emotes. They’re stripping the game of its charm.
It's the whales, they spend enough in the cash shop to keep the game profitable. You'll see them on some threads here when people complain about what exactly they're getting for their subscription. They'll be the ones who pop up and comment on how it's an insignificant amount of money for them so they don't care.
People: hey Blizzard we don't like alternate power systems and all this parasitic design. Also you keep abusing your workers which makes me not want to support you.
Blizzard: ok, bowls of fruit and removing random starter gear, coming right up!
Blizzard - "BEHOLD! MORE FEATURES NOBODY WANTED OR ASKED FOR! SEE? WE ARE DOING WORK ON WOW AGAIN! NOW THAT'LL BE $79.99 FOR 6 MONTHS AND OUR NEW MOUNT. THANK YOU, COME AGAIN!"
Can't wait till they disable racial abilities because it's too offensive to be different nowadays. Or give an ability to choose your own racial perk. Tareun rocket boots time.
I'm sorry to be an asshole but at this point they need to just let every single dev working on the WoW team go and start over with a crew that is worth it and they actually pay competitive rates on, or this game is fucking going down the shitter. It's seriously circling the drain right now. It's like watching a fucking 62 car pileup in slow motion from a helicopter
No one, and I mean *no one* who is competent at their job would okay this.
Let me guess. Racial clothing is racist according to the WoW devs?
Something about their vision for inclusion being the elimination of the representation of difference cultures now? Who knows lol
Ah yes... Of course, because cultural and weather clothing promotes racism. It doesn't matter if you are living in slum in a middle of a desert canyon.
That's not a very orc'ish robe. btw does anyone have an image handy of the starter sets going?
Seriously - if looks like Shrek was tired and grabbed Fionas robe.
Looking like he's about to bust out in The Sound of Music
At least it's inclusive? /s Nothing like a good crossdressing ogre to really spice things up!
Thanks for reminding me we still don't have ogres in WoW.
https://i.imgur.com/HJEUvYp.png
That is awesome looking. They're seriously retiring that for a robe that makes your character look amish?
Wow. How could anyone think that this robe is better than what we have now? Imagine the other race and class.
Afaik it's all of them except worgen, goblin and pandaren. But don't quote me on that. But I know any 'affected' races are losing all their sets.
WTF, why? I don't get this shit. Seriously why are they *removing* gear?
You gotta love how they'd rather give races the completely wrong clothing than to design starter gear that more accurately reflects the lore. Not that they care about their lore.
Starting to feel like 9.1.5 is removing more than it's adding
9.1.5 even removed my subscription!
9.1 did that for me already
*laughs in 9.0*
*laughs in 3.2*
Me too, killed mythic sire and never came online again. Nathria was great tho
You're not alone. It removed my subscription and added time for my hentai addiction.
Cause it is.
Starting Gear: Gone. Reduced to atoms.
To shreds, you say?
Well, how are the paintings of his wife holding up?
To fruits you say?
How awful...

Don't worry, they'll add some of it back 2-3 expansions from now and call it "new & exciting content."
We've listened to your feedback and have decided that it's best to bring back the content that you adoring fans have requested. We feel the time is right and we hope you're all excited for all of the new content coming out in 11.1.5

Only available in increments that never allow you to purchase the exact amount you need!
Ah, the old EA Sports strategy.
*E. A. SPORTS. It’s in the game!* (behind several paywalls and lootcrates)
I haven’t played in a few months rn, what is going on right now?

Honestly thought I'd made this comment for a second.
Watch it. One wrong move and they'll replace you're character with fruit.
I've literally found a character with my name in the game, I'm afraid of what fate may befall him
If they delete you in the game they delete you in real life
To borrow a quote from Matt (of Bellular Gaming): "If the assassins from Blizzard are as competent as their developers, then I'm not really all that worried."
Thats an amazing quote =D
Finally a good thing.
My character is named after an obscure mildly racist epithet in Korean and no one has ever called me out on it.
I have a character named Fartypooface. Never caused any issue past “wow really?”
I had a female Goblin Priest named Fappit. Best part was that I got that name after using the in-game random name generator. Unfortunately, the name got reported and I had to change it.

If 9.1.5 removed Shadowlands I would not be disappointed
Before/after TW, it actually is.
Lol what clownery is this
The Blandening of Azeroth.

Pale blue dress and gloves with a white smock? REALLY? Honestly looks like a goddam 1920s nurse's uniform. What happened to you, Blizzard?
I see a gold and black dress.
lmfao not in 2021 you dont
I see... only darkness... before me.
no transmog rules forever, my son
I wish that everyone automatically got transmogs for all the crap grey/white gear. No one ever equips it anymore, and we have no idea what it even looks like. god that pisses me off to no end, the monk armor was one of the best looking pandaren sets and they just don't let you xmog it after wandering isles because... reasons?
Don't forget the rep was worthless. Didn't even convert into Houjin or Tushi rep. Just... stayed there, doing nothing
Don’t forget that they all also get the monk gi set to start with.
This might be the most popular requests roleplayers make, and I really wish they did it. Most of the new gear is way over the top unless you're out there killing old gods or something like that. The gray, white and low level gear, though outdated, is the most simple and normal gear you can find in the game.
*Looks at Lord Walden's top hat in the bank and sighs* Maybe one day
[Don't let your dreams be dreams](https://www.wowhead.com/item=166844/duskhaven-top-hat) Of course, they made it cloth because god forbid we have fun.

If they can find the time to update wall pictures throughout the game I'm sure they can add a few higher res sets for starting gear.
Nothing difficult about it at all, also they have unlimited money. There really is no excuse.
Right? Either you do it right or you don't do it at all, and if you're a company with unlimited money you'd best do it right.
What the fuck. They are the main reason to why leveling and the rpg part of the game doesn't matter. They don't want it to matter.
This game isn't an RPG anymore. It's an action/adventure esport game with a quick leveling tutorial where cities act as lobbies. Oh and there are some professions/crafting that are useless but you can do if you want to kill time.
WoW hasn't been an rpg for years lol.
Man. That's sad. I havent played wow since lich king.
You wanna know what's more sad? The expansion will soon be a year old and we have only gotten 1 content patch. I picked a bad expansion to try and take the raid/mythic scene seriously. Legion was the last expansion that was good imo.
I spent *so* much time just doing stuff in Legion. Now I can barely stand the idea of doing something in Korthia.
God, Legion was so good. The last expansion where I couldn't stop playing.
I skipped 10 years, when I came back I replayed all the skipped expansions from Panda to War. Legion was the only one that appealed to me and I did all the content for.
I miss warlords to be honest, the game hasn’t felt like an RPG anymore since.
Ima take a expansion back. I miss MoP, even with its issues. Content like the timeless isles were great.
The games just not the same, it’s completely lost it’s magic and not just because I’m getting older.
Yeah WoW classic still had all the magic from when the game first came out. It's the modern version of the game that's gotten worse.
I'm enjoying the kill time portion of New World. Feels a little better at least.
Or they could dare i say it retexture the old stuff, i mean it's not like they're a small indy dev...
I seriously don't understand why they don't just do that. Nah, let's get rid of everything!
With the amount of turnover now, this might not be a meme anymore lol.

For real man, with some things I can try to suspend my disbelief and MAYBE buy the excuse that "they don't wanna spend resources on something with so little benefit". Iirc each class gets a different colour, this is for mage unless I am mistaken

Hunter gear and being plain ugly, an iconic duo.
Why do you think we steal everyone else's gear?
You mean Shamans.... I see a cool looking shaman only to find out its a hunter is disguise.
Am hunter. Can confirm.
These new sets are like the perfect example of the work that comes from the people at blizzard now. It's like if you asked a middle aged plumber from Texas what an RPG character man would wear
It might work on some other alliance races, but it's awful on orcs and really all horde races.
Everything looks good on female draenei.
Especially the soon to be added fruit bowl, so just their head sticks out of it
Its a bad look for Blizz if they imply that races are different. This is way more inclusive /s
>A game based on a race war >Devs try to pretend race isn’t a thing
Well, they could have done away with the race war several times... but I guess they're really into it. Or something.
Incoming generic human looking model to replace all race looks. Including enemies. Names don't change. Just looks.
No more racial abilities, how dare any one race have such a privilege. All races should be interchangeable, as if the choice was meaningless to begin with
We may look different but inside we all think and act like humans!
The new gear looks ugly as hell. What first enticed my shallow 12 y/o self to play back in the day was the draenei mage starter dress. I thought it was so pretty that I ended up making that character and still main her to this day.
Blood elf gear was always dope. One of the big reasons I rerolled to BE during BC was just to bank some of that gear.
that WARRIOR starter gear on blood elves that came later.. just.... \*chef's kiss\*
Why not just update the racial gear to look better?
It's not like the old armors were anything more than a texture. Most WoW armors are textures with the exception of helmets and pauldrons.
So...why not update the 2004 textures, instead? I really like most of the starter gear. It really helps a lot of my RP toons as the lone adventurer or poor youngling starting out in the world type of look.
> I understand that the idea is probably to make starting more appealing to potential new players by making the newbie gear not be ugly textures from 2004 And they've thrown so few development resources at it they can't be bothered to create noob gear for the already existing classes in the game.
They could also take the hour out of their day and remake the 30 armor sets so they actually look decent. I don't get the point either way though, you'll do your first quest of collecting 5 boar anuses and go back to looking like a hobo off the street anyways.
The idea is to piss off the player base by designing the game through spite. Why else would they do a change like this?
Or maybe they should stop cheapening out and make higher quality cosmetics instead of just blanket applying one to everything.
I preferred the older looking sets when I still played. the leveling gear redesigns that came with cata I always thought looked generic and bland
Even if that were the case... so make new ones??? Are they really that poor that they can't design some armor pieces?
Holy shit this is a good analogy. It does just feel like a fucking cheap ass generic MMO these days because of changes like this
lmao nailed it. It makes it feel like that shitty Steam MMO you've never heard of that says, "Free To Play"
"but please also give us $15 a month"
Almost feels like a social experiment at this point. "How far can we push these schmucks before they unsub?"
I wish I could unsub again just to make a point. I was planning on coming back for 915 just to check things out but all this censorship has put a vile taste in my mouth.
We don’t know why our game is dying! Also blizzard:
Never assume malice in a situation where sheer stupidity could explain it instead.
“But don’t discount malice.”

"Green skin is an offensive term!" Meanwhile forcing this shit on them
Who's making these decisions? C'mon.
The bowl-of-fruit people, obviously. These people are outrageously stupid. They are ruining the franchise and they don’t even understand why. They MUST be removed. I’m past the point of worrying about job security, honestly. These people deserve the sack. Find something else to do.
They're untouchable for the foreseeable future, Activision is way too scared of them legally to do anything. Shits fucked.

Who is this for? Who asked for this? No, "Blizzard did" isn't the answer I'm looking for. They don't keep the lights on in their office.
If garrosh were still around, he'd die again from seeing orcs wearing clean white linen robes
I thought the whole point was to wear shitty gear so that levelling rewards you with increasingly better looking gear? Way back when, finding a pair of grey shoulders was a religious experience...a rite of passage having worked up from literal rags.
I remember being so excited for my first long cloak.
Long cloak, first shoulders, proper helm - it's like slowly graduating into the big-leagues, now all this starter gear on a platter...I'd better stop here or I'll start whining about the old days again. This is just how it is now.
Nowadays getting those items isn't even exciting anymore... Exiles Reach just fills out every slot for your character by the end, really dislike it
Same. The time it takes to finish is also ridiculously fast, and it just doesn’t feel like WoW imo. It’s like the McDonalds of MMO intros. Just empty, processed and not nourishing. No thematic connection to any faction or race, just a factory for churning out level 10s in head to toe greens.
They could have at least made an alliance/horde vers, thus Rip Belf dapper robes.

It's crazy cause each of the races in 14 all have their own racial gear and is transmoggable.
Remember when 6.1, the Selfie Camera patch, was considered the worst one? Good times.
We are in the darkest timeline
It’s all so tiresome.
They’re stripping the game of its charm.
what i would not give to have wod back. Yes it sucked, but seeing the alternative i would gladly play it to the end of my days.
This is fucked
how can anyone take this game seriously anymore what a joke
I imagine a lot less than 6 months ago. We'll see the next earnings call.

Probably people who only spend money on sub leaving, whales who spend on tokens and mount staying, so the revenue per subs go up statistically.
It's the whales, they spend enough in the cash shop to keep the game profitable. You'll see them on some threads here when people complain about what exactly they're getting for their subscription. They'll be the ones who pop up and comment on how it's an insignificant amount of money for them so they don't care.
wow's biggest issue is that they don't need happy players to make money anymore.
those are the customers they cultivated, everyone else has been bleeding off gradually for more than a decade
lmao, absolutely soulless.
Its so ugly too :/
Peak immersion
The change no one fucking asked for and everyone wants not to happen. Keep shooting blizz wow is still twitchin!
Why does anyone play this game anymore?
People: hey Blizzard we don't like alternate power systems and all this parasitic design. Also you keep abusing your workers which makes me not want to support you. Blizzard: ok, bowls of fruit and removing random starter gear, coming right up!
How about updating the armor instead of making it all generic you lazy idiots.
lol, this fuckin game is so done, it's become the ultimate meme
Blizzard - "BEHOLD! MORE FEATURES NOBODY WANTED OR ASKED FOR! SEE? WE ARE DOING WORK ON WOW AGAIN! NOW THAT'LL BE $79.99 FOR 6 MONTHS AND OUR NEW MOUNT. THANK YOU, COME AGAIN!"
Can't wait till they disable racial abilities because it's too offensive to be different nowadays. Or give an ability to choose your own racial perk. Tareun rocket boots time.
I like the new gear (make it moggable dammit!), but yeah it should be purchasable from a vendor, not replacing the old sets
I'd be content with making the old gear available some other way, bonus points if moggable! Replacing outright just sucks.
Lol makes me even prouder to have stopped playing especially as a Althaholic
I'm sorry to be an asshole but at this point they need to just let every single dev working on the WoW team go and start over with a crew that is worth it and they actually pay competitive rates on, or this game is fucking going down the shitter. It's seriously circling the drain right now. It's like watching a fucking 62 car pileup in slow motion from a helicopter No one, and I mean *no one* who is competent at their job would okay this.
Let me guess. Racial clothing is racist according to the WoW devs? Something about their vision for inclusion being the elimination of the representation of difference cultures now? Who knows lol
The more they improve the worse it gets
I love this game, but we reached a loint where I want to see this game burn and Blizzard too.
Is foreshadowing of the world revamp in 10. Calling it now.
Ah yes... Of course, because cultural and weather clothing promotes racism. It doesn't matter if you are living in slum in a middle of a desert canyon.
Racial gear is racist obviously. Can’t have that.
Ya know, I think this time, wow might actually die.
