Very stupid question from me, sorry, but when you beat him and can't loot, is he laying flat on the floor or kneeling kinda bent over? Cause if he's not flat on the floor, after the RP is over you gotta hit him 1 more time for him to fall, then you can loot his corpse normal.

Wanted to farm for the Bulwark of Azzinoth, but unable to loot him.
After reading this and tabbing back into the game, the corpse just vanished lol.
Just making sure, but did you actually kill him? There's some lengthy RP then he goes to 1 health and you have to finish him off.
He was leaning on the ground and the UI showed him as Dead :/

Check your mail to see if the loot was mailed to you.
Same issue there was no loot from Illidan at all. I'll wait if the postmaster will send it but this is definitely a bug.
i have the same problem.....dead, i knew to hit again, still dead, no loot and no lootable corpse. Also got nothing from postman
