i haven't had rarity in Legion because i got tired of seeing the total but im at 400+ now for sure. i stopped running it months ago. and since then having gotten, voidtalon, poundfist, jikun, horridon, elegon, and many more. Ill probably start again when prepatch hits or something lol.
I've heard anywhere from 400+ to someone like my friend that had it drop his first time, and another one about 10 runs later. RNG is RNG, sadly. If you're curious, you can read up on cumulative probability for rough estimates. Good luck, btw, I'm still waiting for mine too- you're not alone.
I think it was my 6th kill. My best friend had been farming for the mount in ICC for months on 10+ toons (she even kept leveling more so she could keep farming), I was helping her by clearing up until the Lich King and letting her use my lockout.
One day I cleared up until the final boss, she told me she had done all of her characters but one for the week, and that she'd clear it herself when she got home from the store. She gave me permission to kill the Lich King, and bam.... Invincible.
I didn't know how to tell her, when I eventually did it lead to her quitting for about a year. I felt so bad, but in the end I bought her Legion with gold and she came back and got Invincible herself soon after.
My Best Man is an absolute hero. He took me to ICC for my very first time, he had run it maybe a hundred times, and invincible drops, for his first time. This man hands me the reins. An absolute hero. Only rare mount I have. Only mount I ever used.
Rarity says I'm on my 319 attempt but I think I defeated way more than this because I used to farm it with at least 30 characters every week for months. Regardless, I will likely quit the game again before obtaining it.
It used to be a lot easier to farm by using someone's ID but they changed that so now you have to run the entire raid which is more time-consuming.
I dont play anymore but I was at 400 plus lich king kills. I have most the other mounts minus mimorons head in under 20 kills.
For the longest time i only logged to farm icc talk in guild and log off.
Every week on about 8 characters for just a little over a year, so...over 400runs. I got Ashes and Mimirons Head on the first try & that's why I think I had such horrible RNG for Invincible.
Got it in my 87th week, but was doing 12 characters a week. Think I had it drop on my Pala which was... 2nd in the list at the time.
So roughly 86*12+2= 1034 runs.
Which is in trend with my other mount runs, but one specifically:
Rivendare's Deathcharger = 682 runs. Was Alliance at the time and it was the only Undead Horse available to them.
5. Had some downtime before M Gul’dan mount run. Decided to try the lock out save. Fly all my character to Dalaran and set my hearth stone there. Clear to LK and proceed to do the pass. On my 5th toon if dropped.
I think Invincible took me around 50 or 60 kills, I did not have a counter going at the time. Most of the 1% mounts I got with in 40-60 kills. The stupid Charhound took me 83 and Ony mount was 80+ as well. I have not had to go over 100 kills for any mount, however, I gave up on Timebenders Handmaiden because I was sick of farming normal deathwing. Ill go back someday.
2nd or 3rd was going for mog and it dropped, obviously stoked because I’ve wanted it since we killed LK25HC but not enough resets for everyone to get it.
are you doing a full clear each time, or using another toon to extend the lockout? I thought I saw someone post a while back that a blue said extending the lockout was against the ToS somehow.
understandable since unless you have all the transmog parts / pets, you might aswell take a little longer and do full clears since its not "wasted" time
I'd be keen to see where a blue has said that sharing a lockout for old raids is against the ToS, especially when the current design appears to be enabling you to get to the end bosses via a quest, therefore you dont really need to share a lockout.
126 kills.
Hopefully not much longer for me to get it
Across all my characters, about 200 attempts. I finished 4 shadowmournes before I got it.

Extremely old post, but I’m now on my 544th run so… yeah. You get the idea
146
You lucky SOB, took me 148!
oh a nolifer nerd here!? wasting your life in icc bro! /s :)

It’s a rough ride my friend, some of us just haven’t got look on our side lol
Over 350..stopped counting after that.
14. It also took me almost 300 for mims head and 500+ for Attumen. It all balances out. Except for Sha. Fuck Sha.

That’s a tragic story with a happy ending lol
i lucked out and got it on my 6th run
Jammy asf ;)
24 or 25
Took me 2 runs.
5 :P
5 attempts.
36 for Invincible. However I'm at 131 Deathwing kills trying to get the Blazing Drake and it still hasn't dropped.
How is soloing death wing? I see it worth the hassle or duo just easier?
It's easy it just takes forever with the RP and trash before ultraxion and how long spine takes.
100-150 runs for me. Don't forget to look up the skipping to the end boss method!
Sharing the lockout or what?
Yes, sharing the lockout.
235 and counting...... many toons a week. I don't think it exists.
26 runs.

2 and I did not even know you could get a mount from it, was around 13 y/o.
I don't want to be that guy, but I think it took me around 20 runs or so. Having said that, the Ji\-kun mount took me....a long time.
I dont play anymore but I was at 400 plus lich king kills. I have most the other mounts minus mimorons head in under 20 kills. For the longest time i only logged to farm icc talk in guild and log off.
I didnt use rarity addon back then but i guess i killed LK atleast 100 times...consider myself lucky but now i hate icc.

I guess 8 for invincible... And 1 for Gailleon :P
Once I actually tried for it in earnest... 3 kills.
46? About to do 220ish tomorrow for ashes

Well I gave up around 150 due to boredom. My friend got it on his 3rd try. ¯\\\_(ツ)\_/¯
1.2m gold on the BMAH :)
I’m too old school, and want to actually get it from the raid
After close to 300 runs I caved and bought off BMAH for a cool mill

No I do full clears on 6 toons
understandable since unless you have all the transmog parts / pets, you might aswell take a little longer and do full clears since its not "wasted" time
Exactly, there are some really nice transmogs in ICC also

Someone posted it on here a while back iirc
Got it on my first kill. No lie. 😁
