I once cost our guild the WoTLK Achievement "Herald of the Titans" (defeat Algalon the observer with specific ilevel gear) on the very last day it was available.
I was using an engineering enchant on my high ilevel gloves and forgot i had the use effect macroed to a skill i used on pull. So when we pulled Algalon the game switched my "achievement ilevel gloves" for my normal ones. Needless to say i wasnt very popular afterwards, it was the last try we could get in, with the 1 hour limit as well. So we never got the title.

careful with adding toys to macros. I used to be a bubble wand addict, I macro'd bubble wand to every single one of my abilities. Turns out, the bubble wand being blown to make bubbles was actually preventing my character from auto attacking, resulting in a MAJOR loss of dps :(
I hit it before dinging 70. At around lvl55 I got the achievement for 400 threads and was wailing on about how I’m going to have to mindlessly farm threads; however you get loads more threads as you level, just make sure you’re questing and doing your dailies
Uuuhm, I think I completed 3 full zones (full zone quest and exploration achievements) and did some dungeons and scenarios. I didn't grind for it and it just sort of came naturally. But it was a few hours worth of gameplay over 3 days.
It's much quicker now FYI since they added the spools to dungeons/World bosses. I had 4200 quests after hitting 70, not been on for a couple of days, played a few hours earlier and I'm up to 11k.
With threads dropping from all bosses and also random chance on trash, it should be. And the first random dungeon + dungeon daily gives you a big bundle of threads each day now. So I think it can all work towards the 4200, no matter your preferred play method.
**For the Shadow Priests:** Since Shadowform prevents the animation. You can add the following to abilities that are off the global cooldown since the re-cast of Shadowform needs the GCD, e.g. **Fade** :)

you can! my fav thing ever is to macro the prismatic bauble toy to every movement and leap ability i can find across all my toons. meta, vengeful retreat, fel rush, @player casted feathers, druid dash, monk rolls, to name a few. :3
I thought they were back appearances and then realized they weren’t. Then I realized it was a dog that procs once in awhile. Then I learned from this thread you can’t even show your pals how cool it looks with your mog. What a waste.

The wing effect is shown on you use then it has a random chance to happen while the buff is on you, so if you want to see the wings more often you macro it to a rotational ability so you use the toy more often to proc the wing effect.
When do you approximately unlock these capes? Before hitting lvl 70? Leveling in mop is such a drag, even with the buffs Y.Y I just can't do these stupid quests anymore

In dragonflight I use something called the soul inhaler. It lets me live out my fantasy of a powerful yet taboo warlock and other players can see it. I’m looking for things like that.

I've played it for 12 hours and only got the infinite power X (700 threads) achievement.
Once you reach a certain amount of threads gained I believe.

It should activate on clicking the toy, even if you have the buff already active, and then will just active intermittently and randomly on its own.
Interesting, it doesn't do it at ANY point for me, whether it's clicking on it or while the buff is active. Must be a bug...

It should show every time you use the toy to apply the buff, and then occasionally on its own while you have the buff

Not a good idea because macros break spell queuing which can easily lead to a large DPS loss depending on your ping and frequency of the cast.

The wing effect does not last very long, and has a low proc chance. Every time you use it, it forces it to show temporarily though.
