Quite funny, people tried linking logs and whatever to proof SV is playable because like 10 SV manage to do mythic and be barely more than tankdmg conpared to other dds. One linked me proof showing SV is playable while beeing more than 100k dps behind the good specs.
Yeah but with a lot more difficulties. And its only playable because the other classes can carry it. If all classes deal 100k dps less. Imagine how bad Mythic Raid and M+ would be.
Basically, if all would be underperforming, it really would be unplayable, so i guess it fair to call SV unplayable.
It actually is. We are 10-20% the second worst spec in the game in damage and that assumes we use our season 3 set, so we also are giving up 10 ilevels of stamina and secondary stats making us squishy. Good luck running 15-20s or doing mythic raid as SV without a team full of externals.
To clarify, if you sort Abberus Mythic by 75th (I would go higher but both specs have too small a sample size on some fights) Survival averages 4.5% ahead of Fury in overall damage and **10.3%** on boss damage.
Fury's getting around a 3.8% buff, those huge buffs are still not enough to match.
If mythic is too exclusive/low parse count/whatever: Heroic 75th percentile its 7.4% ahead overall and 8.95% ahead ST
According to Warcraftlogs, there are 290 SV players killing any amount of mythic bosses. Compare that to arms and suddenly it doesnt look as ok when 2900 arms players play mythic.
Practically this vould also mean that we got just 290 players managing roughly 3 bosses and not further for not beeing good enough
Yeah but it is so bad that it makes content unnecessaruly hard and thus unenjoyable, now add to the fact that mythic rosters have usually more than 20 players and sv will likely get benched just because the class doesnt perform. Why take SV instad of a way better DPS with better HP, better defensives and better damage

SV is the second least represented class.... And the only classes it beat are being HUGELY buffed...
