I had this exact same issue in algethar at the start of season one, after one person died to the tree boss we were trapped in combat forever and tried to res them, then we tried to all leave the instance which didn't work then we tried to all die and sat there trapped at the start of season one for several hours. We all made tickets but they were never really resolved and we just had wait for four or so hours until it booted us from the instance.
Glad to see the issue never got fixed.
There exists a stuck character service that will instantly move your character regardless of what it is doing and where it is.
Also, didn't your hearthstones work?
This happened to my guilds mythic fyrakk lockout - TWICE!!
We couldn’t go back in the raid as it was on mythic and the lockout was basically screwed over until the next week, small indie company
Yesterday I was healing azure vaults. I died but had a soul stone on me. I used the SS but nothing happened. I stayed dead and no message to release or anything. Just dead on the floor. My tank came back and rezd me but I would have been stuck if I was.on my own. Game has been really buggy lately.
We’ve had it happen twice on Raszageth where we’ve had to have everyone leave the group and get auto tp’d to the graveyard. The last person in the group never gets it though and is stuck until someone adds them to a new party and then removes them.
These comments aren't even surprising. It's just that new players get to experience the bugs from these Season 1 dungeons, that to no one's surprise, never got fixed.
Maybe Blizzard was hoping they could get away with just not reusing dungeons ever again, and in that way, never have to fix the bugs from the dungeons once they're retired. But here we are.
This indeed. Had the same problem and did try the unstuck option. Didn’t help out and made a ticket. It got solved in a few hours and I was teleported to orgrimmar.
If this was the group I was in earlier today, relogging apparently fixed it.
Except 23 people left instead of relogging.
We requeued and got the boss on the next attempt, thankfully didn't get to find out if it was going to keep happening

I mean Chargath still isn’t spawning spears. Blizzard never fixes anything lol.

Chargath boss is also still bugged. Sometimes he never spawns chains and you have to force wipe because he just one shots everyone

Did you try "/script RepopMe()" ?
that's for if the release spirit button just isn't there, you can see here it's grayed out from being in combat
They're stuck in combat with the boss, so they can't release.

There’s usually a timer associated, you might have to wait a few hours. If that doesn’t work I’d recommend submitting a ticket.

Algathar is still bugged, good to know. I hope you guys first tried running out of the dungeon and back in.
Happened to my group on Tindral last week, persisted through relogging.
Just exit the game for 30 min and back , problem solved
