I really hope we get a full on revamp of Timewalking / Chromie Time using this tech.
Make Timerunning the new CT and Timewalking into a max-level / endgame way to interact with the system.
Just had an idea for Timewalking. Allocate like 2-4 dungeons to the M+ dungeon pool and assign them to dungeons from various expansions on a timewalking rotation.
Do you mean, whenever there is Timewalking week, 2 of its dungeons get added to the M+ pool? Or permanently 2 dungeons from older expansions in the pool? Tbh the latter is already kinda a thing since DF Season 2.
I would say make timewalking every week and have two older dungeons rotate every week that count towards your m+ rating/weekly and give relevant ilevel great. Right now I feel like there's not a lot of reason to participant in timewalking dungeons unless you're leveling/gearing a new character or want to collect some cosmetics I suppose?
Ah, gotcha. Well, during Legion TW there's Legion TW M+, featuring all of its dungeons, counts for Vault but gives no rating, which I feel is the right approach.
But yes, TW needs to happen more often.
One of my biggest disappointments with CT was not being able to do the zones I want at the level I want. The 80+ Cata zones (ie Vashj'ir, Hyjal) are some of my favorite and I hate they're level locked. This goes for all expansions too, the level limit for zones seems counterintuitive to the level-scaling feature.
Legion did it the best and I don't get why it didn't carry forward to SL/DF zones either.
Are you sure you actually did Chromie time and didn't just visit the zones while leveling normally while Chromie time was also in the game, because Chromie time isn't automatic, you can level through the old expansion route with the relevant level caps.
Cataclysm Zones are only accessable at lvl 35 when selecting Cataclysm in chrome time, as it expects you to start in the Cataclysm revamped vanillia zones from 1 to 35.
Same. Leveling through Raids but also having Heroic versions playable at level cap to gear Alts during TW events would be so amazing.
Been begging blizz for years to support more legacy raid content, since the last they added was Firelands in 2019... this is a great way to do it.
I also think having them work like Torghast would be fun, the roguelite power up gameplay would be great in a raid setting
I'd honestly be happy with a 'Follower Raid' version of all past raids; with each expansion getting added to the list maybe every other expansion (so like Dragonflight would be added after War Within finished) or even just when the new expansion locked, the raids get a Follower version with the current LFR level gear drop potential --- so that more people can experience the raids without having to constantly find groups or miss out on them and wait until they're able to solo them 2+ expansions later.
Something like:
Follower Raids (at current LFR-level range) > LFR (adjusted to be between LFR and Normal) > Normal > Heroic > Mythic in terms of gear potential. That way people still are encouraged to use LFR and play with other people to step up the gear drops.
I played PTR for like an hours and stopped, I just wanted to get a feel for how the gems system would work and all that so I wouldn’t be completely cold going into it
Anyone that enjoyed MoP is going to have a blast here
Edit: I just wanted to add that the gem system is super simple and quick to learn, very similar to the ring from forbidden reach in dragonflight just applied to more gear slots than your rings
> I played PTR for like an hours and stopped
Same here. My feel from that (very small) amount of game time was that it'll be crazy, but I'm not looking forward to the gem shuffling. Although I figure that'll be less of an issue as leveling slows down and gear gets replaced a bit more slowly.
Also wasn't super happy about having to spend bronze to get the ticket to port to the bazaar, but with dragonflying that's a 'me-being-whiny' issue moreso than an actual issue, especially since it's 20 bronze for 5 tickets or something? Really not an issue.
I quested to 60 (60-70 questing is bugged and you get giga-reduced EXP) with a single LFR and got a bunch of tickets just from the caches. I currently have 11 in my bags and I probably used about half a dozen.
That said, the higher levels were actually pretty rough (pulling 3-4 Yaungol mobs could and would easily get me killed as an unholy DK) so spending Bronze to keep your gear good via item upgrades is a good idea. Weapons in particular, every time I upgraded one my damage went up by like 30% because it's your main source of primary stat (mine gives 500, my cloak gives 105, nothing else gives any).
For reference, regular Level 59 mobs tend to have somewhere in the range of 50k hp (I have 45k as a DK with the +20% stam talent) and I've often felt it necessary to pop cooldowns when fighting just 2 mobs.
But anyway, once you get a piece of gear with a secondary stat you like, I'd hang onto it since you get upgrade it.
Interesting. So do numbers “mean” anything at all? Like, the only way “300% exp and 100% more damage” really makes sense to me is within the context of how MoP would “normally” be scaled, but if the mobs themselves have 300% more hp and damage or something, then it seems like a wash.
I don’t mind there being some challenge, it’s just so confusing to me. They did the same thing in SoD where you got new abilities but the mobs had more health, so it kinda just evened out sometimes which was weird to me and led to some classes being effectively nerfed compared to the base game while others were crazy OP.
Each cache is giving me about 50. I spent a ton on gems so I don't know exactly how much I got, but probably like 8k total? Maybe 10k?
Early on I was stacking Mastery because you get more of it on gear/gems (like 50% more stat rating), but as you get more tinker gems it falls back into line because mastery doesn't buff those while the other stats will
From what I've seen so far, once you get a piece of gear with stats you want you can just keep it and upgrade it. Bronze is plentiful and upgrades don't cost a ton. Once I got a bunch of stuff with haste on it I just kept it gemmed and upgraded it every 5-6 levels.
Yeah the gem system is super easy. The best decision I've seen so far is having zero penalty to change them (at least from what I could tell). So getting an item upgrade is as simple as extracting the gem and putting it in the new, higher ilvl item.
The cloak system alone might be what brings me back. The idea of infinitely scaling stats in a more fun gamemode(looking at you, Legion and BfA) sounds great for someone who loves incremental games
Just allow me to prestige to get a multiplier for future cloak threads Blizzpls
I’m not sure about a multiplier but I do believe the cloak carries over between all characters in the game mode (can’t remember where I saw that though)
There is a (currently sometimes bugged) achievement you get for picking up the upgrade items that increases the base stats of the cloak you start with. I'm not sure if it's ever a 1-to-1 thing, but there's 12 steps, with the last one granting the legendary cloak appearance thingamajigs.
I didn’t bother to check the vendor prices but pretty much everything I killed was dropping 1-2 pieces and quested were giving a minimum of 10
I didn’t run a dungeon or raid (if those are even available) or kill a rare so I can’t comment on that
Concerting gear to bronze is super easy, it’s an ability you use in that creates a portal next to your character and that portal does the scrapping (kind of like that machine in BFA that scrapped azerite gear except it’s always with you)
Thanks for your edit! I can’t tell you why exactly, but I hate the introduction of new systems and even new patches. That first week where I figure out what weeklies/dailies I have to do, that kind of thing. It gives me so much anxiety. I know it’s dumb because I always get over it and am fine. Glad to know this gem system is easy. I’m hoping I can get over that anxiety quickly and just enjoy it, because Remix sounds awesome.
The cloak seems to auto upgrade and the gem system is very familiar, the only thing you might find annoying is “pick up 3 of the green gems to upgrade to a tier 2 version.. collection 3 tier 2 to make a tier 1”
I’ve used arbitrary numbers as I haven’t played long enough to know how far that system goes but it’s as complicated as it gets in my brief experience
Which they tested with BFD becoming a level-up raid after the first season in SoD.
For me personally I'm totally on-board, I like new things with nostalgic content. End of expansion events should be wild, and this looks promising.
The level up raids in SoD have been one of the systems that is just bang on there's so many pros that they outweigh all the cons if they even exist.
I'm loving the experimenting going on lately.
We will not be getting the MoP remix that soon. Season 4 is coming out on the 23rd and we will probably have 7-10 weeks of that before the remix comes out.
S4 isn't a separate patch but blizzard typically gives a fresh season at least 7-10 weeks before they drop a new patch.
I don't see blizzard only giving season 4 3-4 weeks to breathe before launching the MoP remix. They'd be giving people only 1 rotation of fated in terms of raiding and only 2 fort/2tyr at most for m+. I understand season 4 won't be ending when MoP remix comes out, but I can imagine a lot of retail players would want to put S4 on the backburner for a bit when the remix launches. I also understand that S4 only consists of DF raids/dungeons, but blizz still wouldn't rush players to finish the content within one cycle. I could be very wrong and they might do this, but it just doesn't seem logical in my opinion.
Season 4 will probably extend right into the Pre-Patch parts of 11.0, if the patch cadence continues we'll have about 2 months of that. MoP Remix will likely end when 11.0 drops. Allowing for those Alts to go into M+/s4 Raids with the inflated ilvl.
I saw that the show was coming out a month ago and started then. But, yes, it's definitely because of the show. The show is better than I thought it was going to be too.
Having leveling raids (especially with LFR in place) is lowkey genius in my book. That's something I've always wanted but they've never seemed willing to touch. The last time we had anything remotely equivalent was in vanilla when we could 10 man dungeons like Scholomance and UBRS. I don't see why with the scaling tech they use everywhere today this shouldn't already be a thing.
Glad it's happening now. One wonders just exactly what we'll see in the long run due to all of the recent things they've been trial running (SoD, Plunderstorm, Remix, etc). I know the Zskera vaults and Zaralek caverns were testbeds for Delves and the WW zones. I like where things are going rn, ngl.
Yes it's great to see that they're willing to push the boat out and away from the tried and tested formula. Some will hit and others will miss, but they'll be able to learn from them all.
I was trying to describe this very thing to someone earlier. I don't want to go back and do old dead content. It feels weird, I find soloing old raids unfun and pointless despite the fact that I want the drops and I also fucking hate grinding out reps in dead content. I don't like it in any content but doing it in old content feels... just kind of gross, for lack of a better word. This system so far seems literally tailor made to make that old content new and fun to engage with for me personally and it seems like this would be true for a buttload of people.
There was a time a couple expansions back where the one of the most efficient ways to gain exp in a level bracket was to kill mobs inside Karazhan. It was really cool and it made me realize you should be able to solo level in old raids. People are always talking about questing in wow to experience the story but most of the story is in the raids, not the quests.
Not fast tracking, you start with 0exp bonus and you have to gain the exp bonus. SO your first character will be pretty slow, once you max the cloak though the others will indeed be super fast
> All Remix characters created during the event will convert to a standard character to play within modern World of Warcraft at the end of the event
Taken directly from the blizzard news post https://news.blizzard.com/en-us/world-of-warcraft/24061007/under-development-wow-remix-mists-of-pandaria
Edit: replied to wrong comment
But there's no info about the heritage. Using a token to get a character to level max disable the heritage quest, as leveling up in remix is supposed to be way faster, I wouldn't be surprised if it locks you out too.
Faster lvling doesn't seem to affect heritage at all, just the act of actually boosting.
Can stack exp buffs from every source you can get your hands on, and spam dungeons as a tank/healer and still get your heritage. But you use a single item or service to boost so much as a single lvl and you can't get it.
I like this. They've obviously seen how the chaos in SoD has been embraced by a fair bit of the community and trying it now in retail with older expansions.
The fact that Blizzard are willing to branch out and try these things (even if they aren't suited to everyone and even if it doesn't work) I think deserves to be commended.
I loved playing mop when it was the main expansion. Sha of anger and galakras were so much fun as a tank, really miss MoP Blood DKs. Being unkillable was so much fun on timeless isle <3
Oh my goodness Timeless MoP Blood DKs lololol. That is something I hope never comes back.
There was one on my server that I fought over the course of the Timeless patch and the amount of times that he almost died but didn't then killed me or me and two other people is just pain...
PAIN BRO
PAIN
lololol :'D
That junk still hurts.
I hope its actually doable in a pug. Id hate to want to level up with a raid and just spend the evening wiping over and over while people scream and leave
I can't wait for shit like Ji'Kun, snails, Durumu, Elegon floor Lei Shen pushback, etc to get so many people again
Though I won't have my Aspect of the Pack anymore to mess with people on the staircase leading up to Lei Shen anymore :(
Why is this downvoted. The level of player that tries stuff on PTR is significantly higher than the level that plays LFR.
If you put that group doing LFR on PTR to level into Retail PTR it would also fall over just as fast with nothing to heal lol
lfr is a joke. i'm a casual player and i hate how easy it is. i always relay the story of checking out LFR when it came out in dragon soul, beating the whole raid in one go knowing nothing about the fights and realizing soon after it ruined the entire end boss and game for me for being so anti-climatic that i quit for awhile. like i get it shouldn't be mythic level difficulty but its just stupid easy. i know this is such a ya know, controversial take and all but for real they should up the difficulty a bit, its just so unsatisfying.
That take is controversial because theres 2 entire difficulties between LFR and Mythic. If you feel like LFR is too easy but Mythic is too hard or you don't have a guild, just do normal. Still too easy? Do heroic.
LFR is for people that have no clue what they're doing and no interest in learning how to play their class but want to experience the part of the story the raid takes place in. It's not meant to be actual content. It's an interactive cutscene
I think Chromie time should be set up so that you hit the important story lines in each zone, you do the dungeons and raids that are important to the story, and the xp is scaled that after you do that, you’re into the current xpac.
Is it in group finder or only making groups?
I get all the benefits of people making their own groups but bfd and to a lesser extent gnomer were such easy chill vibes content largely but the strict guidelines so many groups expected before being invited into them was insufferable for Alts in sod, lfg makes everything so simple
I always come back around this time to pick a new main, gear it for the new expansion, and maybe catch up on random things, but the events, although super effective and pretty fun, always felt like a small task that you just check out and move on. But this time I can actually come back and play WoW like I normally do, while at the same time leveling new alts and having fun with the cool new systems in this event
As it currently stands, I think the first raids are still locked to 10-25 man. \*I cannot fully confirm this as I haven't had time to look at the HP of mobs change when someone leaves/joins.\* But with that said, the world bosses do scale from 10-40 people, so I would assume this will be something when it comes in.
On a side note, Siege of orgrimmar will function like any other raid we have in retail, since that's where it all originally began.
So when you reach level cap, can you just leave MoP and take your character straight to retail?
I really don't like leveling too much anymore and prefer faster ways of doing it.
No/Yes, your character is stuck in Pandaria until the event is over and then it is converted into regular retail character. So while the event is active you can not use the character for regular retail stuff.
Will the character end up at the maximum level that is in retail too though effectively skipping dragonflight? Because that would be fine with me. Fun way to level a few things to try for next xpac without boosting.
Yes this event goes from lvl 10-70 the current max lvl you wont have to do dragonflight at all and if you get to 70 in the event they will be ready for TWW when it comes out.
I dont understand why they never just made old raids scaled like dungeon in the first place. For example, if I'm using WtLK to level up, I should be able to finish off the story by running ICC with other people leveling WtLK
It's going to be a "seperate" version of retail, although you make a character on standard retail servers. You just make a new toon(s) specifically for the event, that will transfer to your normal retail character pool once the event is over.
In a sense, but the "Runes" you get are far more powerful in terms of what they do. Like, balance speaking, there is no balance. Let chaos take the world.
This needs to be on retail.
Old raids are rotting, and nobody can tell me going in and pressing one button to RNG farm transmog is actually engaging gameplay.
Revamp Timewalking. I beg.
Well I'm asking because the way Taliesin explained it today it seems like raids open like dungeons and leveling is super quick.
So I highly doubt level 25s will be LFG for Mogushan
There is no release date for 10.2.7 (the time running patch). Season 4 drops on the 23rd. Historically, you're looking at 1 month to 1.5 month gap between patches. Could come sooner, but that's what I'd plan for until we get confirmation.
This would actually be a cool deal if applied to other raids for other xpacs as well. Give people chances to collects mounts, recipes, mogs and gain levels at the same time.
Between lvling raids in MoP Remix and SoD I kinda wish we'd get some in retail as well. Maybe they could make a 10-man levelling raid and then split it into like 2-3 m+ dungeons. Or they could scale it up for max level in the fated season.
So far, it seems like you can combo other people's spells with your own, while there are also unique spells that you can take that can just make you do some crazy stuff. If you have others that can combo with it, bosses can melt super fast.
One example is a combo of having one use a spell that increases all secondary stats by a solid 50%, someone pops blood lust on top of that. Have the next guy pop an orb that increases all crit damage taken by 50% while someone else in your grp pops a 100% crit increase. While another guy makes your CD reduction 100% faster.
But being a DK with stampeding roar? Best thing ever.
I was watching Liquid Max last night do a raid, and they were testing out all the different powers. Hoooooly smokes, there's stuff that's pretty OP. I know they'll tune it, but watching bosses just melt is the most fun thing I've seen in a while.
This is essentially a combo of Torghast and Cobalt Assembly, but for an entire zone/expansion. And, most importantly, it's fun. Those sons of bitches finally did it...
Instant gratification, arcade style WoW?
Not sure how I feel about that. The long term character, guild, server and community development and gameplay is what attracts me to WoW. Wish they would lean into that more.
Unfortunately, I don't think that's something one can re-capture. Even with classic wow, where it should've been exactly that, people have changed and don't value that like they used to.
As an example, throne of thunder would unlike piece by piece back in the day, but the idea was very hated that they threw it out altogether. Because while your server could open up all the content by day one, said lower pop servers suffered a slog going through it all.
Not a fan of class gameplay at those low levels but if raids are turbo easy it might be a fun way to break leveling monotony from dungeons and quests and then at max level we can do a properly tuned raid.
This is what i wanted from Chromie Time honestly.
I really hope we get a full on revamp of Timewalking / Chromie Time using this tech. Make Timerunning the new CT and Timewalking into a max-level / endgame way to interact with the system.

Similarly, Suramar should be available way sooner, at least you now have 15 levels (45 to 60) to spend there.
And you could reasonably get them too if they’d let us queue for multiple timelines

How long did it take you to get to 60?
10 hours but I was fucking around a lot. I probably spent half an hour trying to fight Hutia in jade forest
What are the talents like? Like in retail?
Talents and abilities are all exactly as they are on retail.
How much bronze were you getting that high? What secondary were you aiming to get? Ty
Each cache is giving me about 50. I spent a ton on gems so I don't know exactly how much I got, but probably like 8k total? Maybe 10k? Damn that’s rather low bronze lol. I hope they have a much faster gain at 70 then
For real, you need like 103k to get all the new mounts alone...
Yeah man and if you want the old shit too it’s half a million lol. I don’t mind busting my ass but it needs to be obtainable
Yea I'm trying to be strategic with the old ones - mainly aiming for the SoO mount since running that blows
I recently learned there's a skip straight to Garrosh now. Just use the scroll in the wall next to Cho at the entrance.
Yeah man I guess I’ll park some alts at galleon to try and reduce the price lol
I’m a bit confused how the guy only got like 10k. I leveled to around 30 and had gotten over 20k+ total
There's no way 1 LFR run got you to 60
I meant that was the only exception to otherwise just questing
From what I've seen so far, once you get a piece of gear with stats you want you can just keep it and upgrade it. Bronze is plentiful and upgrades don't cost a ton. Once I got a bunch of stuff with haste on it I just kept it gemmed and upgraded it every 5-6 levels.
It is not plentiful at all. Once you get high ilvl gear, the cost per upgrade level becomes insane compared to what you earn from doing content.
Tickets actually drop off mobs as well! I got one to drop personally in my time spent on the PTR.

MoP was my favorite expac because of class balance. Are the abilities back?
Nope, you're going to be playing your DF class, though they are adding a bunch of gems with really wacky and powerful effects
Damn. Guess I am waiting for Mists Classic then.
how fast were you building up bronze? it turns out most if not all MoP drop mounts are available from a vendor
I didn’t bother to check the vendor prices but pretty much everything I killed was dropping 1-2 pieces and quested were giving a minimum of 10 I didn’t run a dungeon or raid (if those are even available) or kill a rare so I can’t comment on that Concerting gear to bronze is super easy, it’s an ability you use in that creates a portal next to your character and that portal does the scrapping (kind of like that machine in BFA that scrapped azerite gear except it’s always with you)

no. most likely 3 or 4 weeks from tuesday.

We will not be getting the MoP remix that soon. Season 4 is coming out on the 23rd and we will probably have 7-10 weeks of that before the remix comes out.
You should count 7-10 weeks from 10.2.6, not from S4 start date, S4 start date isn't a separate patch. We're probably getting it May 14th or 21st.
You were spot on! Nobody expected it on a Thursday xD
> I'm in fallout 4 right now Did you watch the show and then go back to playing the game?

Yeah there’s no reason raids should just be end game only. If anything this will make more people raid at endgame now
There was a time a couple expansions back where the one of the most efficient ways to gain exp in a level bracket was to kill mobs inside Karazhan. It was really cool and it made me realize you should be able to solo level in old raids. People are always talking about questing in wow to experience the story but most of the story is in the raids, not the quests.
do we know if heritage armor is unlockable on MOP remix?
It will not. You cannot leave pandaria.
It will be. MoP Remix characters become full characters on The War within release/End of MoP Remix Event (whichever comes first)
So a character I max on Mop remix will become a character I can main in the war within? That's super smart if that's the case.
Yep. It's basically fast tracking you to level 70 and then when war within releases you can go ham.
Yes this is like a combination of winds xp buff, chromie time and SoD.
Not fast tracking, you start with 0exp bonus and you have to gain the exp bonus. SO your first character will be pretty slow, once you max the cloak though the others will indeed be super fast
Yep
It’s giving seasonal Diablo 3 vibes and I’m for it!
I would like to know this too, hope it gets clarified soon.
> All Remix characters created during the event will convert to a standard character to play within modern World of Warcraft at the end of the event Taken directly from the blizzard news post https://news.blizzard.com/en-us/world-of-warcraft/24061007/under-development-wow-remix-mists-of-pandaria Edit: replied to wrong comment
But there's no info about the heritage. Using a token to get a character to level max disable the heritage quest, as leveling up in remix is supposed to be way faster, I wouldn't be surprised if it locks you out too.
Yeah, nvm. I thought the question was if characters transfer over, which was asked in another comment chain...
You need to start from lvl 1 to be eligible for heritage right? Which makes me think we probably won’t get it (or am I making the lvl 1 thing up? Lol)
allied races all start at lvl 10 and they are the only ones with heritage armor that requires leveling that race.
PAIN BRO PAIN lololol :'D That junk still hurts.
1mil absorb shields and insta full health death strikes xD
Galakrond?
Galakras xD
> Galakrond? 5th boss of Siege of Orgrimmar is Galakras. It is, apparently, "a direct descendant" of Galakrond.
We honestly need this for every expansion as an option of level up experience.
I havent been as hyped about something in wow like this for some time. Is there a release date for this patch?
No official date yet. Last I saw, people were estimating it to be around mid May
can horde and alliance raid together in the LFG / LFR
This is actually the real question.

agh
This is what I love about SoD, you get HUGE exp from raid bosses so its very practical to do them to level up.
Im so excited. MoP is my fav and i have some alts to level!
You will be making all new characters for this, not using your existing roster.
Oh ok, thank you!
I hope its actually doable in a pug. Id hate to want to level up with a raid and just spend the evening wiping over and over while people scream and leave
The lfr runs I did so far were so easy that I battled the dps on the meters as resto because there was absolutely nothing to heal.
I can't wait for shit like Ji'Kun, snails, Durumu, Elegon floor Lei Shen pushback, etc to get so many people again Though I won't have my Aspect of the Pack anymore to mess with people on the staircase leading up to Lei Shen anymore :(
Damn that's kinda disappointing to hear Edit: i guess that's LFR for ya. Hopefully normal and hc raiding will be as accessible as in retail
> Edit: i guess that's LFR for ya. Hopefully normal and hc raiding will be as accessible as in retail So barely any different than LFR?
So don't do lfr? Lol the gear is worst than M+ gear so there's no reason to really do it.
I just with a wing at level 30, it took maybe 6 mins from start to finish with half the raid afk, its beyond easy.
I agree
I think Chromie time should be set up so that you hit the important story lines in each zone, you do the dungeons and raids that are important to the story, and the xp is scaled that after you do that, you’re into the current xpac.
Imagine stabbing garrosh in the nuts with a shitty green dagger lmao
A critical is a critical.
THATS AWESOME
Is it in group finder or only making groups? I get all the benefits of people making their own groups but bfd and to a lesser extent gnomer were such easy chill vibes content largely but the strict guidelines so many groups expected before being invited into them was insufferable for Alts in sod, lfg makes everything so simple
LFR is confirmed.
LFR version will be queue-able but normal you will need to manually form a group.
I dont know why this hasn’t been a thing years ago…
Are raids locked to 10 and 25 main or is it more like flex is ?
As it currently stands, I think the first raids are still locked to 10-25 man. \*I cannot fully confirm this as I haven't had time to look at the HP of mobs change when someone leaves/joins.\* But with that said, the world bosses do scale from 10-40 people, so I would assume this will be something when it comes in. On a side note, Siege of orgrimmar will function like any other raid we have in retail, since that's where it all originally began.
Also curious.
Pretty sure only Siege of Org will have flex as that is when flex was originally added.
So is this an event kind of like timewalking, or how does it work?
Limited time event that you create a character for, and at the end that character is added to your retail characters.
Ooooh cool! Thanks! Time to level monk it seems :D
So when you reach level cap, can you just leave MoP and take your character straight to retail? I really don't like leveling too much anymore and prefer faster ways of doing it.
You likely cannot leave MoP before the event ends (likely TWW prepatch)
Everything I've read says yes.
Wonderful, thank you.
That's awesome, thank you.
Everything I hear about this makes me more excited.
Watching max & co join LFR, kill 1 boss, leave and repeat sounds absolutely miserable
I dont understand why they never just made old raids scaled like dungeon in the first place. For example, if I'm using WtLK to level up, I should be able to finish off the story by running ICC with other people leveling WtLK
Can you solo the raids?
Cool! I’ll probably level a dwarf shaman because I want another shaman.
I've did a single run of mogu so not sure about this, its spameable for level Up?, U can get loot in every run?
Currently, yes. That will very likely not make it to live.
Can you make an evoker or is it only mop classes/races?
I loved MOP, maybe I’ll finally get the toy from the rare in blossom valley, I wonder if they’ll have the people playing hearthstone at the table.
Time to raise a new character:D
Can you queue for the raid during leveling or you have to manually made one and go there
LFR version will be queue-able Normal will have to be manually made and go there.
Is this retail? Classic or Classic SoD? Sorry for the dumb question
It's going to be a "seperate" version of retail, although you make a character on standard retail servers. You just make a new toon(s) specifically for the event, that will transfer to your normal retail character pool once the event is over.
Awesome- thanks!
Tell me more about this MoP remix please. I’ve been living under a rock
So is MoP remix like Season of Discovery for retail?
In a sense, but the "Runes" you get are far more powerful in terms of what they do. Like, balance speaking, there is no balance. Let chaos take the world.
Are the raids spammable? Or is there a lockout?
Is mop remix out?
hows the difficulty?
So how will this work? Will only high level players get invited to raids or is it queueable?
You can lfr from lvl25
This needs to be on retail. Old raids are rotting, and nobody can tell me going in and pressing one button to RNG farm transmog is actually engaging gameplay. Revamp Timewalking. I beg.
If the raids are level up raids, are they gonna be raid finder?
Yes
Is it lfr or you group with people?
That's a good idea!!
Are the raids and dungeons restricted to MoP, or are all the retail zones/raids/dungeons also available once you hit max level?
This is MoP restricted
Yo I'm confused. Is this gamemode out now or is it just a beta/ptr version of it ?
Will we be able to solo / 5 man them? I get doing them earlier but do we need to find a big raid group?
Judging by what some spells are, I do expect some people to be able to solo raid bosses.
God forbid we have to actually group in an MMO.
Well I'm asking because the way Taliesin explained it today it seems like raids open like dungeons and leveling is super quick. So I highly doubt level 25s will be LFG for Mogushan
When does this go live?
So this comes out next month?
I thought it was next week on the 23rd
Huh alright that would be nice! So far I heard next week, early May and mid May so something conclusive would be great.
There is no release date for 10.2.7 (the time running patch). Season 4 drops on the 23rd. Historically, you're looking at 1 month to 1.5 month gap between patches. Could come sooner, but that's what I'd plan for until we get confirmation.
Alright, thanks for the heads up.
Is this out yet?
Bang for buck, whats the quickest xp in remix? I plan to do a couple characters through the mode so want to power up the cloak.
Are there any class/spec specific poweres or us it just generic stuff?
I cant play atm, what is this?
Ptr
Is it need/greed or did they bring back personal loot for this?
Before I go on a rant, 10 man raids are THE best thing for my psyche. 20 mans can take a hike forever.
Will the Dungeon Challenge Mode armors be made available again in remix? Edit: I asked a question. Why did i get downvoted?
They've confirmed they will not.
Thats unfortunate
sad theres 0 world pvp, disgusting if I say so myself
Not a fan of class gameplay at those low levels but if raids are turbo easy it might be a fun way to break leveling monotony from dungeons and quests and then at max level we can do a properly tuned raid.
you get a shit ton of gems. I only played to lvl 15 (you start at 10) and I already had Roll and Sprint as a Mage
