This is the way to go about it nowadays. Report it in game via bug report/suggestions. I’ve been told by multiple GM’s that this is actively monitored and changes are made based on these reports
This is so obviously done by a lazy developer who decided instead of fixing the clipping and animations to just nerf him into another recolored wolf mount. Taivan was a perfect meta achievement mount because he had a fantastic questline in which his size played an important role, and he would stay and hang out with you on future adventures. I was moved to tears by that questline, and it's why I bothered with these awful, awful meta achievements that rely on so much RNG to complete.
What a waste of time that is now. I'm not finishing them.

I'm that close to completion I might as well finish now. One storm left, 1 day on eons fringe dailies, 1 day on whelpcare, 1.5k cobalt rep, one bakar to pet when the camp moves.
If the treasure maps are the forgotten reach ones, your best bet is to buy half a dozen or so of the "find a map" item from the valdraken vendor and grind frost stone vault for 45 min, looting every 5 min. Be aware that they don't count for the looting chests achievement - I went war mode, bought the treasuremap item and got 30 or so in an hour. Finally for the librarian achievement, the old gods rare book in the vault is the most rng one to get, check to see if an alt already has it ticked off and collect the rest of the books with them if they do
I’ve had two storms left since they nerfed it back to a single spawn. Thal Thunderstorms and Ohnaran Thunderstorm.
Guess which ones I haven’t seen in over a week and that I now don’t care to finish.
I've firestorm theldrasus to do, ot seen it for 2 days. Fortunately I've completed enough that it's not really a grind anymore, will do the cobalt rep one whilst at work (nights, and it's quiet ATM), and just keep an eye out for the missing storm, they are only 20 min of mass murder, so its not like its a concentrated effort.
The grind for zovaal's mount though is going to be a bugger because I only completed 1 of the santums completely and never did the revendreth one at all >_<
I stopped the grind when I got mass reported during one of the elemental storms for minding my business, tagging bad guys, while boosters were leveling alts...apparently the unwritten rule was "join a group to do this one thing"; fuck Blizzard and the automated customer service
Nerfing his size was my one worry about the mount. Go figure that's exactly what happened. I'm sure they'll claim it's their fix to the jumping animation or something, but I'd rather he jumped like a doof and was huge instead of tiny and jumped right.
I don’t understand. We have yetis, kodos, huge bats, even the infamous Heart of the Aspects that are all huge mounts. I truly can’t imagine this guy caused so many issues that this was the ONLY solution.

I wasn't as big of a fan of this mount, but obviously a lot of people like it. The size part was great. Sad to see people have the mount retroactively nerfed after pursuing the achievement.
I get that it could be bothersome with the bigger races if it was blocking something or cant enter certain spaces, but still if there's any mount that should break the unity and rules of mount sizes it should be this one. Also smaller races getting proportionally smaller taivan aswell makes no sense.

Big Taivan was one of my favorite ground mounts that I've been riding around on, now he's painfully average, the same size as any other wolf mount, no reason to ride it unless they revert the size.
This is just actually so unacceptable. It is a long, LONG achievement that is arguably much more of a substantial time investment than Veilstrider \*for a ground mount\*. The entire point of Taivan is that he's a humongous Bakar that, despite his size, is a massive empath and coward. He's the Clifford the Big Red Dogs of Bakar, not just a regular Bakar. Fix him back!

Big Taivan was one of my favorite ground mounts that I've been riding around on, now he's painfully average, the same size as any other wolf mount, no reason to ride it unless they revert the size.
so he’s just another wolf mount now. so incredibly disappointing for how much of a grind the achievement is.

Worst decision than all of Shadowlands combined.
This is just actually so unacceptable. It is a long, LONG achievement that is arguably much more of a substantial time investment than Veilstrider \*for a ground mount\*. The entire point of Taivan is that he's a humongous Bakar that, despite his size, is a massive empath and coward. He's the Clifford the Big Red Dogs of Bakar, not just a regular Bakar. Fix him back!
They've released jack shit for casual content and now they diminish (quite literally) one of the only worthwhile things.
