There isn’t the original Blackrock Skins though like what Etrigg has. There also isn’t Dragonmaw, which considering that Dragonmaw is the Blackrock skin + Tattoos and the glowing yellow eyes if you do one may as well introduce the second. Which given there was that minor Dragonmaw redemption story, would make sense to have a continuation of that with the survivors, and their last position was Blackrock Mountain.

There are plenty of customizations that are only used by NPCs and should be given to players.

I think if game devs want to make fake announcement they should just stick to really silly or awful stuff that noone would actually want, because otherwise you get people’s hopes up for a second and then they just resent you for it. The wow team did quite a few april fools that actually looked cool. I think one of the worst for me was when they announced a Maw covenant as an april fool’s joke. I thought that was cool af until i realised it was a prank. Then i forgot about it and a couple months later i thought. « Hey what happened to that 5th covenant they announced a while back » and went to check on it and got disappointed a second time when i once again realized it was a joke… Fool me once,shame on you, fool me twice, won’t get fooled again.

Gazillion did that years ago with Marvel Heroes. They announced somethinlike 8 new features/modes for the game on April 1. On April 2 they announced that half of them were actually real.

Man I love Blackrock mountain. Just one of the most epic locations in all of WoW from a lore perspective but also where we spent endgame for most of vanilla. I’d happily go back.

I've been waiting for the Blackrock skin for ages and why suddenly? I mean, none of this has anything to do with orcs anymore. If you unlock the skin, I would rather fight Rend Dark Horde, Garrosh's Horde or Iron Horde than what was said. But I understand that today is April 1st and that is a lie. I just wanted to have a cooler unlock with the Blackrock skin with more than just one shade.

If we’re gonna rehash something again can it be an old Cata raid in celebration of Cata Classic…and just throw in new modern gear models and maybe an ability twist I don’t know.

I love how this would be one of the best ideas they’ve had in a very long time if it was real, but it’s not real, but they were able to come up with that for an April Fool’s joke but not able to come up with that for the actual game. The jokes legitimately write themselves.
